Optimalisasi Komunikasi Pemasaran Digital BINUS University pada Konten Media Sosial Instagram dan YouTube
Kemajuan platform media sosial telah banyak digunakan untuk berbagi informasi kepada publik secara luas. Memanfaatkan pemasaran media sosial untuk mempromosikan program studi di perguruan tinggi merupakan sebuah kebutuhan. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengungkap peran platform media sosial khususnya Instagram dan YouTube yang telah dilakukan dalam mempromosikan program studi di BINUS University selama tahun 2023 hingga 2024. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif, wawancara, dan teknik analisis konten, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas platform tersebut dalam menjangkau dan mempengaruhi pandangan calon mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BINUS University telah mengoptimalkan penggunaan media baru dengan cara menyebarkan konten dengan target utama penonton yaitu generasi Z, guna mempromosikan berbagai program studi baik untuk jenjang studi S1 maupun jenjang program Master (S2). Persuasive Strategies in WHO\u27s Dengue Awareness Posters: ELM-Based Content Design in Vietnam
Public health communication is essential for raising awareness and influencing behavior. In Vietnam, dengue fever remains a major health concern, with WHO-designed posters promoting prevention and management. However, their persuasive effectiveness remains underexplored. This study applies the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) to analyze these posters and propose improvements.
A qualitative content analysis of eight WHO dengue prevention posters published on Facebook (September 2022–2023) examined central cues (message clarity, logical argumentation, action-oriented guidance) and peripheral cues (visual appeal, emotional engagement, source credibility). Findings show a strong reliance on central cues, while peripheral elements—such as striking visuals and digital engagement—are underutilized, limiting persuasive impact.
To enhance effectiveness, the study recommends improving visual appeal, incorporating emotional triggers, and optimizing digital engagement. These insights contribute to applying ELM in health communication and improving public health messaging in Vietnam
Application of the SAW Method in a Decision Support System to Determine the Best Public Transportation Mode for UPN “Veteran” Jakarta Students
Purpose: The high use of private vehicles in Jakarta exacerbates traffic congestion, making public transportation a vital alternative, especially for students of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ). However, with numerous options available, many students struggle to select the most suitable mode of transport. This study aims to aid this decision-making process by developing a Decision Support System (DSS) to evaluate and recommend the most optimal public transportation mode.
Methods/Study design/approach: This research implements a DSS using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. Five transportation modes were analyzed: MRT, KRL, TransJakarta, Jaklingko, and Online Motorcycle Taxi. The evaluation was based on five criteria: cost, speed, comfort, accessibility, and safety. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to students, which were then processed using normalization and weighting based on the perceived importance of each criterion.
Result/Findings: The analysis revealed that Online Motorcycle Taxi is the top choice among students (score: 0.859), followed by MRT (score: 0.853) and TransJakarta (score: 0.837). The results indicate that each mode has distinct advantages; for instance, MRT excels in comfort and safety, while Jaklingko is perceived as the most economical option.
Novelty/Originality/Value: This study demonstrates that flexibility and accessibility are the primary considerations for students when choosing transportation. The findings provide a useful, structured reference for students to select efficient transport that meets their needs, moving beyond anecdotal decision-making. The research effectively applies the SAW method to offer a practical solution to a common student mobility challenge
Strategic Responses to Myanmar’s Political Crisis: A Comparative Analysis of India and China’s Approaches
On February 1, 2021, Myanmar\u27s military staged a coup, abruptly halting the country\u27s political transition and triggering widespread violence, humanitarian distress, and regional instability. This article examines how India and China, with distinct political systems, foreign policy and strategic interests have responded to the crisis and shaped regional engagement in post-coup Myanmar. Adopting a qualitative approach, this study utilizes official government statements, news reports, and scholarly publications. The findings indicate that China has maintained close ties with the junta to secure its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) investments, while also engaging with ethnic armed groups to ensure border stability and protect its economic assets. India, by contrast, follows a “dual-track” strategy—publicly supporting democratic norms but also maintaining relations with the military regime to safeguard its security and strategic interests. However, India\u27s limited support for pro-democracy forces and restrictive refugee policies have weakened its regional credibility, while China’s pragmatic diplomacy allows it to preserve its influence and project strategic dominance in Myanmar. This comparative analysis highlights shifting China and India power dynamics in Southeast Asia and suggests that a more flexible and inclusive policy from both actors is crucial for contributing to Myanmar’s long-term stability and advancing their regional interests
Vietnamese Government’s Policy Strategies to Address Human Trafficking (2017–2021)
Vietnam, as one of the countries in the ASEAN region, has various complex factors that encourage the occurrence of human trafficking problems. This study aims to analyze the strategies of the Vietnamese government in overcoming human trafficking in the 2017-2021 period using qualitative methods. It applies the concept of the anti-trafficking strategy approach as outlined by Cornelius Friesendorf, which emphasizes four key approaches in addressing human trafficking. The study result shows the Vietnamese government\u27s strategies in the 2017-2021 period to implement anti-trafficking strategies through policies to prevent and address the root causes, strengthen and enforce the law, protect victims, and establish partnerships. In these strategies, the government also focuses on victim protection by providing rescue, recovery, education, and economic capacity-building services to non-governmental organizations. There has been progress in policy formation and emphasis on the number of victims. On the other hand, there are challenges, such as a lack of coordination between the central and regional governments, limited resources, and inconsistent law enforcement officials, which serve as obstacles to effectively addressing human trafficking
AUSTRALIA\u27S SECURITY STRATEGY IN RESPONDING TO CHINA\u27S THREAT IN THE INDO-PACIFIC REGION THROUGH THE 2021-2024 AUKUS
This research analyzes Australia\u27s security strategy in responding to China\u27s threat in the Indo-Pacific Region through the AUKUS alliance from 2021 to 2024. Amid rising geopolitical tensions and China\u27s assertive actions, Australia faces strategic pressure that compels it to strengthen its national defense. Using qualitative methods and secondary data analysis, this study applies Alliance Theory and Bandwagoning to examine Australia\u27s choice to align with the United States and the United Kingdom. The findings reveal that AUKUS is a deterrence strategy embedded within Australia\u27s defense policies: Defense Strategic Update 2020, Defense Strategic Review 2023, and National Defense Strategy 2024. These policies reflect a shift from diplomatic multilateralism to military-based alliances, highlighting Australia\u27s increasing dependency on great powers for strategic security. Through AUKUS, Australia is strengthening its defense posture, especially about nuclear-powered submarines and emerging technologies, to uphold regional stability and sovereignty. ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY AS CHINA’S STRATEGY IN THE ARCTIC REGION TO SUPPORT THE POLAR SILK ROAD INITIATIVE
This study analyzes China\u27s strategic implementation of economic diplomacy in the Arctic region to support the Polar Silk Road (PSR) initiative, an integral part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Although China is not geographically an Arctic state, it claims the status of a "near-Arctic state" to justify its increasing involvement in Arctic affairs. Utilizing Kishan S. Rana\u27s economic diplomacy framework—consisting of economic salesmanship, networking and advocacy, image building, and regulatory management—this research explores how China promotes infrastructure development, fosters cross-sectoral partnerships, enhances its global image, engages with regulatory frameworks in line with international norms. Furthermore, the study applies the Multi-Track Diplomacy theory to illustrate China\u27s use of multiple diplomatic channels, including government relations, scientific collaboration, business cooperation, and media engagement, to expand its regional influence. Employing a qualitative method and literature-based research, this paper reveals that China\u27s approach is a long-term, multidimensional strategy that combines soft power, economic interests, and institutional participation to gain legitimacy in Arctic governance. Ultimately, China\u27s diplomatic strategy in the Arctic is not merely reactive to global environmental and trade shifts but is part of a broader effort to position itself as a central player in shaping the region\u27s future geopolitical and economic order
SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN STOK BERDASARKAN TURNOVER RATIO
Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem informasi persediaan stok berdasarkan rasio perputaran (turnover ratio) untuk mengatasi pencatatan manual dan analisis intuitif yang tidak valid. Sistem dibangun menggunakan metode SDLC dan diuji dengan pendekatan black box testing dan uji penerimaan menggunakan system usability scale (SUS). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa 87% pengguna menyatakan proses input data berjalan lancar dan sesuai alur kerja. Fitur klasifikasi berdasarkan turnover ratio yaitu non-moving, slow-moving dan fast-moving sangat membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata skor SUS yaitu 75,33 dengan kategori “Good”. Sistem yang dibangun dalam penelitian ini mampu mendukung operasional gudang secara efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan stok, integrasi pemesanan dengan supplier, serta transparansi aktivitas melalui log sistem otomatis yang mengacu pada visualisasi dashboard dan fitur CRUD yang lengkap
ANALISIS PENGARUH SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING ACTIVITIES TERHADAP PERCEIVED VALUE, E-WOM INTENTION, DAN INTENTION TO ENROLL DENGAN PENDEKATAN SEM-PLS
Dalam persaingan antar perguruan tinggi, optimalisasi aktivitas pemasaran media sosial atau social media marketing activities (SMMA) berperan penting dalam menarik dan mengonversi calon mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh SMMA terhadap nilai yang dirasakan (perceived value), serta dampaknya terhadap minat mendaftar (intention to enroll) dan niat menyebarkan informasi secara elektronik atau electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) intention, dengan fokus pada akun Instagram penerimaan mahasiswa baru di perguruan tinggi swasta. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode SEM-PLS yang mencakup analisis model pengukuran dan model struktural. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interactivity dan informativeness dari SMMA memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perceived value calon mahasiswa. Perceived value terbukti berperan penting dalam meningkatkan intention to enroll serta mendorong e-WOM intention. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi pemasaran digital institusi pendidikan, khususnya dalam optimalisasi pengelolaan konten media sosial untuk meningkatkan daya tarik dan keterlibatan calon mahasiswa
PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN PROFESIONALISME GURU DI YAYASAN ASSHODIQIYAH SEMARANG
ABSTRACT
The implementation of this service activity is carried out for teachers at the Asshodiqiyah Semarang Foundation which includes orations, training and mentoring which are given directly and gradually. The activity was carried out for 2 days and was attended by 28 participants from teachers (elementary, junior high, MA, vocational) in the Semarang Asshodiqiyah Foundation and guided by 9 presenters / lecturers from the University of Computer Science and Technology. After holding community service activities in the form of orations and training for elementary, junior high, MA and vocational teachers in the Semarang Asshodiqiyah Foundation, it can be concluded that: The implementation of these community service activities was deemed successful in developing the creativity of teachers in developing interactive learning media because the majority of the participants attending training activities can create an interactive learning media in accordance with the subjects taught at school. The teachers seemed enthusiastic about participating in this training and hoped that similar activities could be held in the future to improve the skills and abilities of the teachers.

ABSTRAK
Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan kepada guru di Yayasan Asshodiqiyah Semarang yang meliputi orasi, pelatihan serta pendampingan yang diberikan secara langsung dan bertahap. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dan diikuti sebanyak 28 peserta dari para guru (SD, SMP, MA, SMK) di lingkungan Yayasan Asshodiqiyah Semarang dan dipandu oleh 9 orang pemateri / dosen dari Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer. Setelah diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa orasi dan pelatihan bagi para guru SD, SMP, MA dan SMK di lingkungan Yayasan Asshodiqiyah Semarang), dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dirasa berhasil dalam mengembangkan kreatifitas pengajar dalam mengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif karena mayoritas para peserta yang hadir dalam kegiatan pelatihan dapat membuat suatu media pembelajaran interaktif sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu di sekolah. Para pengajar nampak bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelatihan ini dan berharap kegiatan serupa dapat diadakan dikemudian hari untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kemampuan pengajar.
