    The Use of Digital Toolbox in Management Project e-Learning to Boost College Students Creativity Skill

    This study aimed at investigating the use of educational digital toolbox in e-learning to boost college students’ creativity skills, such as making connections, asking questions, making observations, networking, experimenting in their learning projects using graphics, images, and charts, audio, audio-visual and video, opinion or evaluation. It particularly focuses on the importance of the use of digital toolbox in e-learning for students of architecture major. The study conducted the qualitative method. The instrument used was a questionnaire which were prepared for the purpose and which was administered to 55 students at Indraprasta university, majoring in architecture department in South Jakarta, during June and July 2021. The result of this study shows most of students boost their creativity skills by using educational digital toolbox in e-learning process. The new insight that architecture students can be creative to use long distance learning more active and more interactive, as well as enhance their learning experiences. Moreover, using creative pedagogical implementations such as effective digital toolboxes, challenging projects and students’ feedback can boost students’ creativity skills with the innovative learning trend

    Utilizing Interactive PowerPoint to Develop Students’ Speaking Skills in New Normal

    : The Covid-19 epidemic has presented a significant difficulty for lecturers as well as students. To resolve the online learning dilemma, the lecturer who teaches useful skills like speaking should create an efficient learning procedure. One way to teach speaking in the modern era is through an interactive PowerPoint presentation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to ascertain how Interactive PowerPoint affects students' speaking abilities. A sample of 30 freshmen from Universitas Indraprasta PGRI Jakarta is used in a quantitative research technique. To ascertain the distinction, tests were administered before and after. The outcome showed that students' Post-test scores were higher than their Pre-test scores. Therefore, it can be said that using interactive PowerPoint has an effect on students' speaking abilities. According to the findings of this study, lecturers are suggested to be given trainings about PowerPoint's animation capabilities and converting their work into formats that students can access readily.   Key Words: Interactive PowerPoint; Speaking Skills; New Norma

    A Brief Note of The Operation of Zoom App to Teach English in High Schools and The Test Scores that Students have Received

    The Learning from Home (LfH) Policy during the Covid-19 Pandemic calls for educators to innovate and active presence of students in learning. However, there are many developments, which are felt by the students, when they do online learning. The punctuality of the students when they are present in the zoom room is one aspect of supporting the success of student learning. The purpose of this study is to observe the accuracy of students in receiving online learning information and to assess the effectiveness of learning English for 36 students at SMA Putra Bangsa. We compare the final scores of student learning outcomes and analyze how many students experienced an increase or decrease in English proficiency. The results of this study demonstrate that although there is improvement with the learning model using the zoom application, the students' learning abilities have not been able to reach the minimum standard of mastery of the material in English lessons

    Listening Comprehension Difficulties in Indonesian EFL Students

    Listening is one of language skills that must be mastered by the students, because by having a good listening skill, they can communicate much better to each other. In fact, there are many EFL students encounter some problems in listening class. This study is aimed at analyzing the students’ difficulty in listening comprehension. The study used the descriptive qualitative design, and using the purposive sampling by engaging 85 students of Basic Listening Class at English Education Program in University of Indraprasta PGRI. The questionnaire were administered in collecting the data, and it was analyzed descriptively to know what kind of listening difficulties faced by EFL students. Based on the results, the most listening issues faced by the EFL students are the speaking speed of the speaker, the variety of accents used by the speaker, the lengthy description in listening text. Some strategies should be done to figure out these barriers in listening process. The lecturers need to identify what their students problem in listening exercises

    The Impact of Teachers Professionalism on Students’ Learning Motivation in Pandemic of Covid-19

    Due to the large-scale social restrictions resulting from the massive spread of the COVID-19 in Indonesia affecting all aspects of society and daily life, including in the world of education, students learn from home as an effort to slow down the spread of the virus. During this pandemic, teachers as professional staff are still required in carrying out teaching and learning activities, but at the same time ensure students in constructive activities. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the impact of teachers’ professionalism on students’ learning motivation in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. A descriptive quantitative method is employed with 15 teachers and 30 students of SMK Al-Hidayah 1 Jakarta as the sample. The result obtained that there is no significant impact of teachers’ professionalism on students’ learning motivation in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The lack of teachers’ knowledge in conducting online learning and intrinsic factor were two possible reasons for this. It is suggested that teachers should be creative and design the material in accordance with the characteristics of learning amid in the COVID-19 Pandemic

    Obstacles in Writing Literary Research Proposals: a Study Case of 7th Semester Students

    Literary research writing does not merely related to students‘ ability and mastery in writing a scientific research. The elements of literature is also there for them to consider. This research is based on the obstacles that 7th semester students encountered in writing literary research proposals in Universitas Indraprasta PGRI, Jakarta. Therefore, this research focuses on analysing the obstacles in writing the literary research proposals. This research is a case study which is part of qualitative research and the method of this research used case study method. The subject of this research are the students who are writing their research proposals on literary research written in the seventh semester 2021/2022. The instruments used were questionnaire and interviews. In short, the result of the research as follows; First, the team found that there are three common obstacles in writing literary research proposal. The obstacles are categorized into three. They are the mentor-student obstacles, student-related obstacles and institution-related obstacles. There are four recognizable mentor-student obstacles, six student-related obstacles and two institution-related obstacles. At the end, based on the student related obstacles, lectures of literature class can explore and equip themselves with various literary learning techniques that will interest the students in the future

    Using Creative Persentation in English Learning in Senior High School

    Communication in education has a very important role. Learning a foreign language, such as English, is not an easy thing, especially for those who don't live in an English-speaking environment. Various learning methods have been carried out, but there are still many students in Indonesia find it difficult to speak English. This research is based on the observation that there are still many students in class XII MIPA 3 at SMA Putra Bangsa Depok, who lack or even do not have the ability to speak English, especially in speaking and using the right vocabulary. This study uses a teaching method by presentation to see how much students' abilities and their progress in English are. The purpose of this research is to show that this method can increase students' academic abilities. The method used is descriptive qualitative with case study techniques. The result of this research is that by using the percentage method, the students are able to improve their English academic, especially in grades, which can be seen from the difference between the mid and final test grades

    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Fisika Berbasis Android Menggunakan Appypie dan Videoscribe pada Materi Momentum dan Impuls

    Konsep fisika pada momentum dan impuls yang banyak menampilkan persamaan fisika dan abstrak memungkinkan ditampilkan secara visual degan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis android. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran fisika berbais android dengan menggunakan appypie dan videoscribe. Kami mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation) dalam studi ini. Lembar angket validasi media pembelajaran dan uji respon siswa digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran fisika berbasis android dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan nilai rata-rata total validasi sebesar 84,41 % dan uji coba respon siswa sebesar 75,33%. Media pembelajaran fisika berbasis android ini merupakan solusi alternatif pembelajaran fisika sehingga siswa dapat mengakses materi pembelajaran kapanpun dan di manapun

    Tingkat Stress Akademik Mahasiswa dalam Pembelajaran Daring pada Periode Pandemi Covid-19

    Institusi pendidikan baik itu dari tingkat pendidikan dasar hingga perguruan tinggi terpaksa ditutup untuk sementara waktu karena penyebaran Corona Virus 2019 (Covid-19). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat stress akademik mahasiswa selama pembelajaran daring pada Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling di Universitas Sriwijaya. Tujuh puuh orang mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling dilibatkan dalam studi ini. Kami menggunakan menggunakan angket Stress Akademik selama pembelajaran daring untuk mengumpulkan data dan penyebarannya melalui google form serta dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stress Akademik mahasiswa bimbingan dan Konseling FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya berada pada kategori tinggi 15,71%, kategori sedang 65,71%, dan kategori rendah 18,57%. Mengacu temuan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling Kelas Palembang-Indralaya angkatan 2018, 2019, 2020 mengalami stress akademik dengan kategori sedang

    Pengembangan Media Pop-up Book Materi Kingdom Animalia untuk Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pop-up book pada materi kingdom animalia kelompok avertebrata. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develope, Disseminate). Data yang diperoleh melalui instrumen penelitian untuk ahli materi, ahli media, penilaian guru IPA, dan angket respon siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Hasil nilai kelayakan dari ahli media dengan rata-rata 85,8% yang dinyatakan sangat layak. Hasil nilai kelayakan dari ahli materi dengan nilai rata-rata 63,8% yang dinyatakan layak. Hasil penilaian dengan guru IPA dengan nilai rata-rata 95,25% dinyatakan sangat layak. Uji coba dilakukan dengan uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar. Hasil uji coba kelayakan pada kelompok kecil dengan rata-rata sebesar 98,66% yang dikatakan sangat layak; sedangkan uji coba kelompok besar dengan rata-rata sebesar 92,91% dengan kategori sangat layak. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media pop-up book dikatakan layak menjadi media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran
