Peningkatakan Prestasi Belajar Melalui Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, Penumbuhan Motivasi dan Pembiasaan Gaya Belajar yang Produktif Bagi Siswa SMK di Probolinggo
The low learning achievement of students can be influenced by many factors, both internal and external. This study aims to examine whether character education in schools, motivation and learning styles affect student achievement. The quantitative research approach exposes facto causality, the population is Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Vocational School students using a saturated sample. Collecting data using a questionnaire and observing student learning achievement is measured using a structured test, the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the cultivation of character education on student achievement, learning motivation had a significant positive effect on student achievement and the cultivation of learning styles also had a significant positive effect on student achievement.Rendahnya Prestasi Belajar pada siswa dapat di pengaruhi oleh banyak factor baik internal maupun ekternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah Pendidikan karakter di sekolah, motivasi dan gaya belajar itu berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitaf expose facto causalitas, populasi adalah siswa SMK Darul Lughah Wal Karomah dengan menggunakan sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan questioner dan observasi prestasi belajar siswa diukur dengan menggunakan tes terstruktur, data dianalisis mengunakan regresi liner berganda. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terhadap pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara penanaman pendidikan karakter terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa serta penanaman gaya belajar juga berpengaruh positif signigikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.Â
Developing English Teaching Materials: Vocational Based-Learning for Chemical Engineering students
The materials needed by vocational education must be fairly different from the university students. The needs are based on the actual phenomenon of working situation. The reasearch tries to develop the English materials for vocational education based on learning activity at chemical Enginering State Polytechnic of Malang. It has been known that the present materials must the updated based on the developing need of industry. The method used was descriptive. It uses nine steps to do this research. These nine steps are investigating interesting topic, exercises, intruction, exploring the level of difficulty, selecting the best topics, and evaluating the exercises of the student book. It is all done by giving questionaire to the users and to experts. This research found out that the developing of English teaching materials based on vocational domain is suited with the updated needed by the students and by industries where the students commonly work. It is in line with the students needs and curriculum applied in vocational education. This research gives a solution and ways of teaching models for vocational institution that are in line with the students, industry, and curriculum needs, and this can be applied wholly in Indonesian vocational institution
Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil Tenaga Kependidikan Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi
Abstract:Â Various factors affect work discipline, including the human resource factor. As an essential asset of government organizations, civil servants have presented good competence since being accepted as the civil servant candidate, but not all of them can maintain their discipline. This research aims to find the factors influencing the performance of civil servants, especially education at LLDikti, including leadership (X1) and organizational culture (X2). 50 civil servant staff spread over seven subsections of LLDikti were involved as the research object population. Using descriptive statistical methods and SEM-PLS, we identified a close positive relationship between X1 and X2 variables on work discipline.Abstrak: Berbagai faktor yang menyebabkan disiplin kerja diantaranya adalah faktor sumber daya manusia. Sebagai aset penting organisasi pemerintah, PNS telah memiliki bekal kompetensi yang baik semenjak diterima sebagai CPNS namun tidak semua dapat mendisiplinkan diri. Riset ini bertujuan mengetahui apa-apa yang mempegaruhi dispilin kierja PNS khususnya Tendik di LLDikti dengan memasukan kepemimpinan (X1) dan budaya organisasi (X2) sebagai variabel bebasnya. 50 PNS Tendik sebagai populasi objek riset tersebar pada tujuh subbagian LLDikti, dengan menggunakan metode pengolahan data statistik deskriptif kemudian SEM-PLS menghasilkan hubungan yang erat dan berdampak positif antara variabel X1 terhadap disiplin kerja begitu juga variabel X2 terhadap disiplin kerja
Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Android Materi Sistem Pencernaan Manusia untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas V SD
Abstract : This research has a purpose to develop of android-based learning media about the human digestive system to improve motivation and learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary students; know the quality of android-based learning media about the human digestive system to improve motivation and learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary students, and know the effectiveness of android-based learning media about the human digestive system to improve motivation and learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary students. This research is a Research and Development (RD) type with the development model of ADDIE. The result of this research shows five steps in making the android-based learning media about the human digestive system 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation and 5) Evaluation. The quality of android-based learning media about a human digestive system based on the evaluation from 1) the expert of the subject gained an average score of 3,94 which is included in a Very Good category, 2) media expert gained an average score of 3,96 which is included in the Very Good category. Therefore, this android-based learning media about the human digestive system is proper to be used as the learning media. Based on the analysis of the improvement of study motivation using t-test, it was obtained sig (2-tailed) 0,0350,05. Based on the analysis of the improvement of the learning outcomes using t-test, it was obtained sig (2-tailed) 0,0220,05. In conclusion, the android-based learning media about the human digestive system is effective to improve the motivation and the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary students.Abstrak Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V SD; mengetahui kualitas media pembelajaran berbasis android materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V SD; dan mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran berbasis android materi sistem pencernaan manusia dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima tahap dalam pembuatan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Android: 1) Analysis, 2) Design 3) Development, 4) Implementation, dan 5) Evaluation. Tingkat kelayakan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Android berdasarkan penilaian: 1) Ahli Materi diperoleh rerata skor 3,94 yang termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik, 2) Ahli Media diperoleh rerata skor 3,96 yang termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Dengan demikian, Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Android ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis peningkatan motivasi belajar dengan uji-t diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) 0,0350,05. Berdasarkan analisis peningkatan hasil belajar dengan uji-t diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) 0,0220,05. Analysis of Vocational Graduates Absorption in the Digital Printing Industry through Alumni Tracking: A Case Study of Multimedia Students at VHS 1 Trenggalek, Indonesia
This study aims to analyze the absorption of the workforce of SMK graduates from the multimedia expertise program who work in digital printing either as employees or opening their own businesses. This research was conducted in the city of Trenggalek with the target of SMK Negeri 1 Trenggalek. The technique of collecting data is with documentation techniques from documents and data from the school's Special Employment Exchange (BKK) report. Qualitative descriptive analysis technique, where qualitative data is presented in the form of descriptive descriptions, tables, charts or pictures to facilitate the presentation of information. The results showed that multimedia graduates from 2016/2019 to 2018/2019 who were absorbed in the digital printing industry continued to increase. The decline in job absorption in the digital printing industry experienced a decline in graduates in 2019/2020 possibly due to the impact of Covid19
Pengembangan Nature School melalui Pelatihan Media Pembelajaran Digital di YAKASE Jombang
Covid 19 pandemic is still not over in this time. It makes anxiety for the world of education, especially for school and society. It can be seen that the phenomenon of unready school and society condition to face the variety changes in learning habits. Yakase nature school is built for the unrest of the souls due to the shackles of the world system. Learning media has an important role to increase students’ interest in learning, especially in lower grades. It can be proved that lower grade students are not able to think abstractly, so the material taught by nature school assistants needs to be visualized in a more real/concrete form. Digital learning media training activities aim to increase and develop the ability of companions in using computers. By making interesting animations, the students are not bored and also have special skills in the field of technology. The results of this training activity are expected to help stimulate companion technology skills in creating digital learning media.Masih belum jelas masa berakhir pandemic covid-19 menimbulkan kecemasan bagi dunia pendidikan, terutama jika melihat fenomena kondisi masyarakat dan sekolah yang belum siap menghadapi kejutan perubahan kebiasaan pembelajaran. Sekolah alam YAKASE didirikan karena keresahan jiwa-jiwa akibat belenggu sistem dunia. Media pembelajaran mempunyai peran penting untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, khususnya di kelas rendah, karena siswa kelas rendah belum mampu berpikir abstrak, sehingga materi yang diajarkan oleh pendamping sekolah alam perlu divisualisasikan dalam bentuk yang lebih nyata/kongkrit. Developing Picture Describe For Elementary School Students' Speaking Skills
The main purpose of this study is to help the English teachers easily to teach speaking in teaching English by describing picture. The activities are consists of reading, listening and talking. The researcher employed Research and Development method (RD) and adapted Borg and Galls’ model which consisted of five stages, namely 1) research and information collection, 2) planning, 3) develop preliminary form of product, 4) preliminary field of testing, and 5) main product revision. The researcher used three instruments to obtain the data such as interview, questionnaires and observation checklist. The obtained data will be classified based on the instrument used. The researcher shows the result by explaining them in quantitative and qualitative approach. The students needed supporting book in learning English that has attractive and colourful picture for students. The product is a describing picture book for elementary school entitled PICRIBE. Rekomendasi Jurusan Dengan Menggunakan Decision Tree Pada Sistem Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru SMK Widya Dharma Turen
Pada setiap tahunnya sekolah menyeleksi calon peserta didik yang terpilih sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan oleh sekolah. Pada umumnya proses penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB) dilakukan melalui tahapan pendaftaran, tes seleksi dan pengumuman. Decision tree digunakan untuk membantu sekolah pada proses penerimaan peserta didik baru untuk menentukan jurusan pada jenjang sekolah SMK. Mengunakan metode Waterfall yang akan mendukung kinerja dari algoritma decision tree untuk mendapatkan hasil yang akurat. Dengan itu, maka dibuatlah sebuah system informasi yang akan membantu sekolah untuk melakukan proses penerimaan peserta didik baru disertai dengan system pendukung keputusan untuk pemilihan jurusan. Berdasarkan hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa algoritma decision tree dengan didukung metode pengembangan waterfall akan menghasilkan system Proses Penerimaan Peserta Didik baru (PPDB) berbasis online yang akan mengurangi kinerja sekolah untuk mendapatkan calon siswa yang memang sesuai dengan kriteria sekola
