Strategi Perencanaan Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar: Kajian Analisis SWOT
The quality of education needs to be studied in depth and continuously to remain relevant to changes and developments in the era. This study aims to formulate a planning strategy to improve the quality of education in Elementary Schools through a SWOT analysis. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study. The data collection techniques are interviews and observations, with research subjects determined using purposive sampling. A triangulation test of sources and techniques was carried out to test the validity of the data. The data analysis process includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. The results of the study indicate that alternative planning strategies to improve the quality of education in Elementary Schools, based on the SWOT analysis study, include: 1) Improving teacher competence; 2) Increasing the effectiveness of the use of facilities and infrastructure; 3) Increasing student learning motivation; and 4) Increasing the role of stakeholder
Improving Learning Outcomes of Accounting Materials for Service Companies Through Flipbook Maker-Assisted E-modules
The purpose of this study is to develop an e-module assisted by a flipbook maker on accounting materials for service companies that are valid and feasible to improve student learning outcomes. The subjects at the expert validation stage are expert lecturers and practitioners, while in the research trial are Class XII students of State High School (SMA) 1 Seputih Banyak of who are mostly majoring in Social Sciences. The method used in this study is research and development. The study results show that the e-module of accounting learning for service companies based on flipbook maker after being validated by experts and practitioners obtained an assessment with a total score percentage of 76%. Student assessment at the one-on-one test stage obtained a total score percentage of 91%. Therefore, this e-module is feasible and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The t-test tested the effectiveness of the e-module, a significance value of 0.003 0.05 which showed that the use of e-modules for learning accounting for service companies was effective in improving student learning outcomes
Revitalisasi Pendidikan Kejuruan di Indonesia melalui Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran
Revitalisasi Pendidikan Kejuruan diperlukan untuk memvitalkan kembali SMK. Kualitas pembelajaran tentunya perlu ditingkatkan untuk melengkapi siswa ketika lulus menjadi lebih produktif, inovatif, memiliki kompetensi keahlian siap pakai yang dibutuhkan perusahaan dan industri serta mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan sendiri. Dalam implementasinya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menjadi landasan untuk mewujudkan tujuan revitalisasi ini dengan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bersama di sekolah. Keterampilan kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinan seperti kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepemimpinan instruksional, kepemimpinan teknologi, inovatif, dan partisipatif diharapkan mampu memberdayakan sivitas di sekolah menuju peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. The revitalization of vocational education is necessary to revive vocational schools. The quality of learning must be improved so that students can become more productive, innovative, and possess the skills needed by companies and industries after graduation, as well as be able to create their own jobs. In its implementation, the leadership of school principals serves as the foundation for achieving the goals of this revitalization by improving the quality of education within schools. The leadership skills of school principals, such as transformational leadership, instructional leadership, technological leadership, innovative leadership, and participatory leadership, are expected to empower the school community to enhance the quality of education
Philosophical and Sociological Background of the Integration of Religion and Science
This research discusses the philosophical and sociological background behind the integration of religion and science, which have often been viewed as opposing entities. Using a literature review method, the study finds that this integration is driven by postmodernist thought as a response to the failure of modernism, which overly emphasizes positivism and empiricism. Philosophically, the integration is based on a holistic ontological view of reality, pluralistic epistemology, and axiology that promotes values beneficial for both worldly and spiritual life. Sociologically, it arises in response to modernization, secularization, a crisis of meaning, and society’s need for comprehensive education. In conclusion, the integration of religion and science is not merely an academic approach but a philosophical and social necessity for building an intellectually and spiritually balanced society
Effectiveness of AI Real-Time Feedback Assistance in Improving Writing Skills
This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Real- Time Feedback Assistance in improving writing skills among students. The research employs an experimental design with a pretest-posttest on two groups. The measurement tools used is a writing skills assessment rubric. Data analysis results show a significant difference between the writing skills scores of students in the experimental group (M= 82, SE=4.68 ) and the control group (M= 74 , SE= 6.94 ) after the intervention. These findings indicate that the use of real- time AI feedback assistance has a positive impact on improving students ' writing skills, making it an effective approach to enhance writing skills
Development of Social Media Based E-Commerce as Educational Modern Catering Business Management
The current technological advances, it has an impact on all sectors, including the food catering business. E-Commerce and Social Media take part in providing benefits and also promotion to catering businesses so that they can become famous. E-Commerce and Social Media were created to be able to help food catering businesses to grow so as to create Modern Business Catering. The objectives of this study are (1) classification of various types of E-Commerce and Social Media media that can be used to introduce products and increase sales, (2) identify the contents of E-Commerce and Social Media needed to create Educational Modern Business Catering management, and (2) 3) determine the effect of E-Commerce and Social Media on Modern Business Catering on increasing sales results and product introduction. The method to be used is ADDIE, with the stages are 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. This research resulted in (1) E-Commerce and Social Media classification as well as Android-based apps, (2) E-Commerce and Social Media content consisting of:Â photography, video, relationship features, promotion features, and text/message, (3) based on a journal which states that E-Commerce and Social Media can have a positive impact on the food catering business both in increasing sales and in introducing its products and also as educational application for business management. Pemanfaatan Teknologi Geospasial Untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Profesional Guru Geografi SMA
Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of geospatial technology-based Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) training as an effort to improve the professional competence of high school geography teachers. This study uses an ex post facto method, with a qualitative descriptive approach and data collection techniques through field observation, documentation, and pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that training in the use of geospatial technology based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) has a significant effect on improving teachers' professional competencies, including a comprehensive understanding of the integrative concepts of pedagogy, content, and technology, an increase in the use of geospatial platforms such as Google Earth, Inarisk, and Inageoportal, and the ability to link learning materials with the use of spatial data. This activity is a strategic step in encouraging teachers to become more professional and prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) berbasis teknologi geospasial sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi profesionalitas kepada guru geografi tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto, dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif serta teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi dan pemberian kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hubungan Self-Regulation Dan Kompetensi Mata Kuliah Profesi Kependidikan Terhadap Kesiapan Mengajar Mahasiswa
Abstract:This study aims to describe and analyze the relationship between self-regulation and competency in professional education courses on teaching readiness of Informatics Engineering Education students, class of 2021, at the State University of Malang. This study used a quantitative descriptive correlational approach with partial and simultaneous regression analysis techniques. The study population was 59 Teaching Assistant students selected through saturated sampling. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between self-regulation and teaching readiness (r = …, p 0.05), as well as between competency in professional education courses and teaching readiness (r = …, p 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables contributed significantly to teaching readiness. These findings indicate that both aspects are important indicators in shaping the professional readiness of prospective informatics teachers.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis hubungan antara self-regulation dan kompetensi mata kuliah profesi kependidikan terhadap kesiapan mengajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Informatika angkatan 2021 di Universitas Negeri Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional dengan teknik analisis regresi parsial dan simultan. Populasi penelitian adalah 59 mahasiswa Asistensi Mengajar yang diambil secara sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara self-regulation dan kesiapan mengajar (r = …, p 0.05), serta antara kompetensi mata kuliah profesi kependidikan dan kesiapan mengajar (r = …, p 0.05). Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kesiapan mengajar. Inovasi Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Roda Putar berbasis Powerpoint pada Pembelajaran IPAS Kelas 4 SD Negeri Nongkosawit 02 Kota Semarang
Abstract: Lack of interest of students in learning science because there are materials that are not interesting enough, this is caused by the use of media that is not optimal and not varied enough so that in learning students are less active and get bored quickly.This study aims to test the feasibility of the Powerpoint-based Roda Putar learning media, analyze the effectiveness of the Powerpoint-based Roda Putar learning media, and develop the Powerpoint-based Roda Putar learning media.This study uses the Research and Development (RD) method using the ADDIE development model which has five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation.Instruments used in collecting data: pretest, posttest and questionnaire.Media expert validity test data and material expert validation were analyzed using descriptive percentage techniques.The results of the expert validator test obtained: (1) the assessment from the media expert validator obtained a percentage of 96.66 percent which indicates an assessment with very feasible criteria, (2) the assessment from the material expert validator obtained a percentage of 92 percent which indicates an assessment with very feasible criteria.Data for student and teacher responses to the media used, including: (1) teacher responses obtained a percentage of 100 percent, (2) small group student responses obtained a percentage of 97.77 percent, (3) large group student responses obtained a percentage of 96.88 percent.The results of the N-gain test showed an increase in pretest and posttest scores of student learning outcomes.Based on the scores obtained, the Roda Putar learning media based on Powerpoint in elementary school grade 4 science learning can be said to be very feasible to use.The implication of this research is that this learning media can be applied by teachers to help students in learning activities so that they do not get bored quickly.Abstrak:Â Kurangnya minat peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS karena terdapat matrei yang kurang menarik, hal ini disebabkan karena penggunaan media yang belum optimal serta kurang bervariasi sehingga dalam pembelajaran peserta didik kurang aktif dan cepat bosan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran Roda Putar berbasis Powerpoint, menganalisis keefektifan media pembelajaran Roda Putar berbasis Powerpoint, dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Roda Putar berbasis Powerpoint. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan Research and Development (RD) menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang mempunyai lima tahapan: analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Instrument yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data: pretest, posttest dan angket. Data uji validitas ahli madia dan validasi ahli materi dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif presentase. Hasil uji validator ahli diperoleh: (1) penilaian dari validator ahli media diperoleh presentase sebesar 96,66Â persen yang menunjukkan penilaian dengan kriteria sangat layak, (2) penilaian dari validator ahli materi diperoleh presentase sebesar 92Â persen yang menunjukkan penilaian dengan kriterian sangat layak. Data untuk respon peserta didik dan guru terhadap media yang digunakan, antara lain: (1) respon guru diperoleh presentase 100 persen, (2) respon peserta didik kelompok kecil diperoleh presentase 97,77 persen, (3) respon peserta didik kelompok besar diperoleh presentase 96,88 persen. Hasil uji N-gain menunjukkan peningkatan nilai pretest dan posttest hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh media pembelajaran Roda Putar berbasis Powerpoint pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas 4 sekolah dasar dapat dikatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran ini dapat diterapkan oleh guru untuk membantu peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajar supaya tidak merasa cepat bosan
Pengembangan Modul Ilustrasi sebagai Media Suplemen Ketrampilan Materi Komik Kelas 8 di SMPN 2 Malang
Pengembangan modul didasari kebutuhan peserta didik pada materi pembelajaran komik. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini untuk menghasilkan media berupa modul berbasis ilustrasi sebagai penunjang panduan pembuatan komik untuk peserta didik Kelas 8 SMPN 2 Malang. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilakukan kepada siswa Kelas 8 di SMPN 2 Malang pada Mapel Seni Budaya pada materi Gambar Ilustrasi. Spesifikasi produk media cetak penuh warna dan minim teks. File modul dapat di print secara kolektif atau perorangan sesuai kebutuhan pembelajaran. Hasil implementasi produk dinyatakan data skor uji validasi media 86%, uji validitas materi 92%, dan uji validitas responden 100%
