Litteraturens roll i fritidshemmet : En kvalitativ studie om läsning som rekreation
No full textDenna studie undersöker om och i så fall hur läsning fungerar som en rekreativ del i fritidshemmet. Utgångspunkten är ett minskat läsintresse bland barn som får oss att vilja förstå hur läsning formas i informella lärmiljöer. Genom en kvalitativ metod, bestående av semistrukturerade intervjuer med tre elever, tre pedagoger och en rektor synliggörs det hur både elever och fritidshemspersonal förhåller sig till, samt arbetar med läsning. All empiri analyseras med stöd i självbestämmandeteorin, vilken bidrar till att belysa elevers inre motivation och upplevelse av läsning som en frivillig aktivitet. Analysen visar på hur faktorer såsom miljö, autonomi och social samhörighet påverkar läsningens roll som rekreation. Resultaten visar att läsning upplevs som rekreativ främst när den sker på barnens egna villkor, när de får välja vad, när och hur de vill läsa, och när miljön stödjer koncentration och avkoppling. Pedagogerna uttrycker en vilja att främja läsning, men pekar på hinder såsom bristande resurser, högljudda miljöer och konkurrens från andra aktiviteter. Studiens slutsats är att läsning har potential att bli en naturlig del av fritidshemmets rekreativa innehåll, men att detta kräver ett medvetet pedagogiskt arbete som utgår från barns perspektiv, autonomi och delaktighet

No full textAmid a green transition in the housing sector, investments in sustainability features in housing projects are on the rise. At the same time, the Swedish housing market is experiencing a crisis, in which rising construction and land prices are leading to an exclusion of groups with lower socioeconomic status from the housing market. This thesis employs the strategic relational approach and the theoretical concept of strategic selectivity to investigate how the green transition in the housing sector influences Lund’s municipal housing provision and whether increased sustainability investments have a cost driving effect on the rents of municipal housing. Through the analysis of strategic documents between 2015 and 2023, the analysis of secondary statistical data and an interview with officials working at Lund’s municipal housing company, this thesis argues that new strategic selectivites have been introduced as a part of the green transition of the local housing sector. This has led to conflicting strategic interests between keeping the municipal housing stock affordable and keeping a high sustainability performance, which has in turn contributed to a lower volume of housing being produced each year in the investigated period, as well as new practises in the municipal housing provision being introduced

”What school am I actually at today?” : A qualitative study about guidance counselors professional identity within fragmented employments
No full textUndersökningar gällande studie- och yrkesvägledning visar bland annat att studie- och yrkesvägledningen är lågt prioriterad samt att det är en brist på tid. De studie- och yrkesvägledare som jobbar på fler skolenheter än en upplever dessutom att elevantalet är orimligt och att de inte får förutsättningar att arbeta med studie- och yrkesvägledning. Vår uppsats syftar till att få förståelse för hur studie- och yrkesvägledares yrkesidentitet påverkas av fragmentiserade tjänster i grundskolan. Vi syftar även till att ta reda på vilka faktorer som kan påverka studie- och yrkesvägledare och deras yrkesidentitet inom fragmentiserade tjänster i grundskolan. Genom studien använder vi oss av semistrukturerade intervjuer, och vi intervjuar 9 studie- och yrkesvägledare i olika delar av Sverige. Uppsatsens teoretiska ramverk består av Marcias teori om identitetsutveckling och modellen Occupational Identity Formation. Resultatet visar att det finns olika faktorer som påverkar studie- och yrkesvägledares yrkesidentitet i fragmentiserade tjänster vilket kategoriseras som organisation och arbetssituation, samarbete och yrkesidentitet. Resultatet visar att organiseringen av studie- och yrkesvägledning, vilket bland annat innefattar procentfördelning, medför fördelar och nackdelar samt att det finns skillnader mellan de olika skolenheterna. Det bristande samarbetet mellan studie- och yrkesvägledaren och övrig personal samt relationen till elever visar sig också påverka yrkesidentiteten. Det visar sig att upplevelsen av yrkesidentiteten skiftar mellan studiens informanter, där yrkesidentiteten upplevs både som helhetlig och splittrad

No full textLived Experiences of Older Adults With Chronic Low Back Pain and Implications on Their Daily Life : A Metasynthesis of Qualitative Research
No full textObjective: To synthesize and conceptualize the lived experiences of older adults with chronic low back pain (CLBP) by systematically reviewing qualitative studies. Data Sources: CINAHL, PsycINFO, and PubMed were searched from their inception years (1961, 1967, and 1996, respectively) to September 2023 to identify qualitative studies on the lived experiences of older adults with CLBP. Study Selection: Eligible qualitative studies included published journal article with qualitative design and analysis, and participants aged ≥65 years with chronic nonspecific low back pain (LBP) that lasted for over 3 months. Of 3669 citations screened, 17 studies met the inclusion criteria. Data Extraction: Findings were analyzed using metasynthesis. Two reviewers independently conducted study selection and data extraction, and the methodological quality of each included study was assessed using the Consolidated Criteria for Reporting Qualitative Research framework. Data Synthesis: Six themes emerged from the analysis: (1) perceived causes of CLBP; (2) interference with daily living; (3) family dynamics; (4) social life; (5) emotional responses to CLBP; and (6) coping strategies. Collectively, CLBP negatively affected older adults’ personal, family, and social life to varying extents. Suboptimal LBP management could lead to negative emotions (eg, depression) and avoidance behaviors. Accepting and adapting to the presence of CLBP, along with a clear diagnosis of LBP, might promote self-management. Conversely, comorbidities and rumination might hinder self-management efforts. Conclusions: Given that the acceptance (acknowledging and adapting to the pain) of CLBP improves self-management of pain in older adults, clinicians should pay attention to the concerns of older adults with CLBP, understand the negative effects of CLBP on them, and provide personalized education and management strategies to enhance their self-management and engagement in value-driven actions
