Beteendevetarstudenterna upplevde mer positiv personlig utveckling under studietiden än vad civilingenjörsstudenterna upplevde. Detta korrelerade med skillnader i upplevda behov. Civlingenjörsstudenterna uppgav mer erfarenhet av personlig utveckling före studierna än vad beteendevetarstudenterna uppgav.Godkänd: 2025-06-10.</p
Barriers and implementation strategies for physical activity on prescription (PAP) : healthcare personnel and management perspectives in Sweden-An explanatory sequential study design
Background Physical activity on prescription (PAP) is a recommended method in Swedish and European primary healthcare, yet implementation remains inconsistent. This study explored barriers and strategies for strengthening PAP use in a region with low prescription rates, from the perspective of healthcare personnel and managers. Methods A mixed-methods study with an explanatory sequential design was conducted (2024) in a geographically dispersed Swedish region. Digital surveys with healthcare personnel and managers (n = 93) were analysed using uni-, bi- and multivariate analyses, followed by semistructured interviews (n = 14) analysed with qualitative content analysis guided by Normalization Process Theory (NPT). Results The survey was completed by 75 healthcare personnel and 18 managers. Most healthcare personnel (84%, n = 58/69) reported providing basic PA advice regularly, but only 16% (n = 12/74) prescribed PAPs. Physiotherapists prescribed PAP more often than other personnel (32%, n = 8/25 vs. 8%, n = 4/47; p = .018), and this remained significant in adjusted analyses (OR 4.0, 95% CI 1.01-15.83). Documentation of PAP components according to the Classification of Health Care Interventions (KV & Aring;) was generally low. Physiotherapists more often reported high or very high competence in counselling compared with other healthcare personnel (100%, n = 27/27 vs. 72%, n = 34/47; p = .003), prescribing PAP (74%, n = 20/27 vs. 36%, n = 17/47; p = .003), and follow-up (78%, n = 21/27 vs. 32%, n = 15/47; p < .001). Female healthcare personnel expressed stronger trust in PAP evidence than males (p = .013). Few personnel had received PAP training (38%, n = 28/74), and most were unaware of existing guidelines (81%, n = 61/75). Time constraints (53%, n = 41/75) and lack of guidelines (48%, n = 38/75) were the most common barriers, with older healthcare personnel (>= 46 years) more likely to report time constraints (OR 3.6, CI 1.27-10.16). Managers more often highlighted unclear purpose of PAPs and patient reluctance, whereas personnel emphasised lack of training and managerial prioritisation. Despite these differing perspectives, 69% (n = 50/72) of healthcare personnel and 75% (n = 12/16) of managers endorsed increasing PA counselling. Conclusions Strong interest in PAPs indicates favourable conditions for sustainable implementation if legitimacy-building education (coherence), tailored resources and training (cognitive participation), multilevel leadership commitment (collective action), and coordination for monitoring (reflexive monitoring) are secured. These are necessary strategic investments, transferable beyond Sweden to systems facing PAP implementation challenges

Design and assessment of fuzzy controllers for LFC of multisource electrical system : A novel Sinh-Cosh (ShCh) technique
This research manuscript comprehensively evaluates various fuzzy controllers and optimization methodologies aimed at enhancing load-frequency control (LFC) within an electrical grid system subjected to diverse electrical disturbances. Given that the interconnected grid is inherently dynamic and nonlinear, it necessitates continuous regulation of power generation by the newly established demand schedules. The mechanism that promptly manages electricity generation in alignment with the updated demand schedules is designated as LFC. The implementation of LFC predominantly hinges upon an array of robust controllers designed to establish additional control loop within the scheme. These control loops detect fault indications from the power network and conduct corrective operations instantly to ensure system stability. Area control error (ACE) refers to variations in grid frequency (ΔF) and power flow oscillation (ΔPtie). The fundamental cause of ACE in the power system is an imbalance amid total electricity production and time-varying load demand. Various control approaches like conventional PID, Fuzzy-PID, Fuzzy-TID, fractional order fuzzy PID (FO-FPID), Fuzzy assessed sliding mode control (Fuzzy-SMC) schemes, type-II Fuzzy PID (TII-FPID), and the suggested type-II fuzzy adaptive exponent (TII-FAEC) controllers are shown to enhance LFC in the electrical grids. The suggested controllers provide enhanced efforts when operating in the ideal conditions. So, this work has incorporated an ideal Sinh Cosh technique (ShChT) in the LFC function for providing desired gains of the implemented controllers. Finally, it is examined from the outcomes that recommended ShChT: TII-FAEC outperforms the settling time of area1 frequency (ΔF<inf>1</inf>) response by 64.28%, 107.14%, 164.24%, 214.28%, 321.38%, and 346.42% in comparison to the TII-FPID, Fuzzy-SMC, FO-FPID, Fuzzy- TID, Fuzzy- PID and standard PID controllers correspondingly.
Safe and cost-effective synthesis of porous silicon using Urea : Structural, morphological, and porosity analysis
Porous silicon (Si) has gained significant interest in various applications due to its high surface area, tunable pore structure, excellent chemical reactivity, biocompatibility, and surface functionalization potential. Traditional methods for synthesizing porous Si often rely on hydrofluoric acid, a hazardous chemical that poses significant environmental and safety risks, limiting its scalability and sustainability. In this study, a green and scalable approach for synthesizing porous Si microparticles through urea-assisted etching is presented and evaluated as a function of temperature and container conditions (crucible vs. autoclave). The urea etching transformed pristine silicon microparticles, with a non-porous structure and a BET surface area of 2.3 m2/g, into porous silicon with surface areas as high as 26.7 m2/g. The highest porosity was achieved at 400 °C, while higher temperatures (600 °C and 800 °C) led to diminished porosity and surface restructuring. Quantitative analysis revealed a maximum etching yield of 17.5 %, etching rate of 14.6 mg/h, and a pore formation efficiency of ∼43 %. The crystalline structure of silicon remained intact across all treatments, with minor surface disorder observed at higher temperatures. The urea-assisted etching produced a temperature-and environment-dependent surface oxidation and nitrogen incorporation. At 220 °C and 400 °C, a thick oxide layer formed, particularly under high-pressure conditions, while oxidation was less pronounced at 600 °C and 800 °C, likely due to rapid thermal decomposition limiting sustained gas-solid interactions. Nitrogen incorporation was most significant in Si-220-HP, where multiple nitrogen environments were detected, including Si–N, NH2/NH3+, and NOx species. At higher temperatures, only stable Si–N bonds persisted, while other nitrogen species diminished.
Nyckelord: Impulsköp,As social media becomes an increasingly significant part of everyday life, consumer purchasing behavior is also affected. This study adopted a quantitative research approach and examined how social media exposure, user engagement, and attitudes toward algorithms influence impulse buying among young adults. The study focused on Generation Z, individuals born between 1995 and 2010. A survey was distributed to business and economics students at Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall and Östersund, and the results were analyzed using SPSS. The findings showed a significant relationship between social media exposure and impulse buying, suggesting that frequent use of digital platforms increases the likelihood of unplanned purchases. Additionally, the hypothesis was confirmed that higher user engagement leads to impulse buying. However, the study did not find a significant relationship between a positive attitude toward algorithms and impulse buying. This may indicate that users are not fully aware of how algorithms influence and conitribute to spontaneous purchases. The study concludes that social media exposure and user engagement are strongly linked to impulse buying, while an individual's attitude toward the significance of algorithms does not have a direct impact. This study thus contributes to a greater understanding of how digital platforms affect consumer behavior, providing insight into how digital marketing influences user behavior
Composition-dependent structural evolution of ternary CB/Ga/Silicone composites for synergistic sensing and comprehensive EMI shielding
This study introduces a ternary composite system based on silicone, carbon black (CB), and liquid metal (LM) gallium. Despite extensive studies on LM/elastomer systems, most have primarily focused on mechanical reinforcement or thermal conductivity, while a systematic understanding of their electrical modeling and electromagnetic shielding performance remains insufficient. Therefore, we utilized silicone as an elastomeric matrix, CB as conductive nanofillers, and gallium as a conductive metallic phase, a flexible composite with enhanced multifunctional performance is realized. Shear dispersion during fabrication induces a unique star-like architecture of gallium, which, together with the conductive CB network, facilitates the formation of efficient and continuous electrical pathways. The resulting composites exhibit notable improvements in mechanical strength, strain-dependent resistive response, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding capabilities. In particular, the optimized composite achieves an EMI shielding effectiveness of similar to 35 dB in the X-band, while maintaining stable strain sensing performance over 1000 cycles at 30 % strain. A systematic investigation into the influence of gallium concentration elucidates the correlation between microstructural evolution and the composite's physical and electromagnetic behavior. This work not only deepens the understanding of LM-based ternary composites but also highlights their potential for advanced applications in flexible sensing, wearable electronics, and EMI attenuation technologies
Attracting, Recruiting, and Retaining Teachers : Do We Need a Gender Perspective on Teacher Shortage?
Teacher shortages are a global phenomenon with a variety of causes. As teaching is predominantly a female profession, this perspective paper aims to explore and analyze the current discourse regard-ing teacher shortages from a gender perspective. It follows the question of whether there are any similarities and differences between teacher shortages from a gender perspective in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden. Social norms and restrictions may influence access to the teaching pro-fession and preselect applicants for the profession. The paper presents a concise review of existing literature on teacher-student motivation and teacher shortages from a gender perspective. It then provides a comparative view on the historical development of the teaching profession from a pre-dominantly male to a predominantly female profession in each country. The discussion reveals the necessity to broaden the gender perspective in order to attract and retain more young people in the teaching profession
What About Teacher Shortag
