Uroboros czy Feniks, a także na odpowiadające mu treścią ciekawe artykuły oraz fascynującą grafikę umieszczoną na okładce. Ilustracja, przedstawiająca w tanecznym splocie uroborosa i Feniksa, została wykonana przez młodą osobę, która szlifuje swój artystyczny talent w Akademii Sztuk Pięknych we Wrocławiu. On the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Labour Code
No full textThe Labour Code has been on force for fifty years. It was based on a number of assumptions, in particular: universality of regulations, their comprehensiveness, distinctiveness of the labour law system, axiological distinctiveness, ensuring greater rule of law and justice in employment relations, arrangement of conceptual apparatus and conciseness and coherence of statutory regulations. The content of the Code and its formal and legislative side were thoroughly rebuilt as a result of political and socio-economic changes after 1989, and them as a result of Polish accession to the European Union in 2004. At the time of its entry into force in 1975 – compared to other country of so-called socialist camp – the Polish Labour Code was distinguished by its greater technical and legislative quality as well as its systemic and socio-economic adequacy. Twice unsuccessful attempts (2007, 2018) to enact a new Labour Code have been made. Despite dozens of amendments and erosion of its provisions, the Code is still in force and, moreover, in the new EU reality, it is difficult to expect that it will be replaced by new code or that it will be repealed without introducing a new code in its place.Kodeks pracy obowiązuje już pięćdziesiąt lat. Oparty został na szeregu założeń, takich zwłaszcza jak: powszechność regulacji prawnej, kompleksowość regulacji, odrębność systemu prawa pracy, odrębność aksjologiczna, zapewnienie większej praworządności i sprawiedliwości w stosunkach pracy, uporządkowanie aparatury pojęciowej oraz zwięzłość i koherencja unormowań ustawowych. Treść Kodeksu pracy oraz jego strona formalno-legislacyjna zostały gruntownie przebudowane w następstwie zmian politycznych i społeczno-gospodarczych po 1989 r., a następnie w wyniku przystąpienia w 2004 r. Polski do Unii Europejskiej. W chwili wejścia w życie w 1975 r. – na tle innych państw tzw. obozu socjalistycznego – polski Kodeks pracy wyróżniał się wyższą jakością techniczno-legislacyjną i adekwatnością ustrojową oraz społeczno-gospodarczą. Dwukrotnie zostały podjęte nieudane próby (2007, 2018) uchwalenia nowego Kodeksu pracy. Mimo dziesiątek nowelizacji i erozji jego przepisów Kodeks pracy nadal obowiązuje i, co więcej, w nowej unijnej rzeczywistości trudno oczekiwać, że zostanie zastąpiony nowym kodeksem lub że w ogóle zostanie uchylony bez wprowadzenia w jego miejsce nowego analogicznego aktu prawnego
Terminology of Modern Slang: About the Axiology of the langue verte
No full textThis article begins by reviewing studies aimed at establishing the terminology of modern slangology, a discipline halfway between lexicology/graphy and sociolinguistics, and concludes that there is a gap in recent work concerning the term langue verte (‘green language’). A hypothesis on the etymology of this expression is presented, based on the analysis of digitised historical documents, which provide new avenues for researchers to explore. A comparison of the definitions of this idiom in historical slang dictionaries, which are often misleading, with an analysis of its current use in an electronic corpus provides an observation on its notional evolution, conditioned by judgements with an axiological component. Our analysis shows that, in writing, the term langue verte, which for a long time carried a pejorative connotation, now offers literary critics an euphemistic use of the term argot.Cet article présente tout d’abord un bilan des études visant à établir la terminologie de la discipline à mi-chemin entre la lexicologie/graphie et la sociolinguistique, l’argotologie moderne, pour arriver à constater une carence dans les travaux récents quant à la notion de langue verte. Une hypothèse sur l’étymologie de ce syntagme, basée sur l’analyse de documents historiques numérisés qui constituent de nouvelles pistes à la portée des chercheurs y est présentée. Ensuite, une confrontation des définitions de cette locution dans les dictionnaires d’argot historiques, souvent fallacieuses, avec une analyse de son utilisation actuelle dans un corpus électronique apporte un constat de l’évolution notionnelle, conditionnée par des jugements à composante axiologique. Notre analyse montre, qu’à l’écrit, le terme langue verte qui a longtemps porté une connotation péjorative, permet aujourd’hui à la critique littéraire un emploi euphémique du terme argot

El español como lengua extranjera en el sistema educativo eslovaco
No full textEste capítulo analiza la evolución del español como lengua extranjera en el sistema educativo eslovaco entre 2004 y 2024. Se aborda su situación en la educación preescolar, primaria, secundaria, superior y en la enseñanza no reglada. Aunque al inicio del período la presencia del español era marginal y no competía con otras lenguas como el alemán, el ruso o el francés, en la actualidad su situación ha mejorado notablemente. En 2023/24, el español ocupa el cuarto lugar en la mayoría de los niveles educativos y es la tercera lengua más demandada en la enseñanza no reglada
The Rejection of Sterility. A Contribution to the Identification of Hedonic and Vital Values in the Gender Dispute
No full textThe article adopts a perspective in which relations between values are examined on a basis of cultural products and practices. The object of analysis is the gender dispute, which is treated as an axiotic space, which is a place of differing realizations of the same response to a value, or of divergent stances regarding the same tension between values. The tension central to the text is that between hedonic and vital values – a distinction drawn from Max Scheler’s axiology. This distinction reveals that while the prioritization of hedonic values clearly differentiates the opposing sides of the debate, both anti-gender rhetoric and feminist-queer thought (considered as a whole) perceive “disembodied” ideas of the subject as a threat to the vitality of individuals and societies. This differentiation also proves useful in framing the question of how images of vaginas and, more broadly, women’s bodies—used in confrontation with patriarchy – relate to the sphere of pleasure.W artykule przyjęto perspektywę, w ramach której na podstawie wytworów i praktyk bada się relacje między wartościami. Obiektem analizy jest spór o gender. Potraktowany on został jako przestrzeń aksjotyczna, czyli miejsce odmiennych realizacji tej samej reakcji na wartość bądź różnych stanowisk względem tego samego napięcia między wartościami. Napięcie, na którym koncentruje się tekst, zachodzi między wartościami hedonicznymi a witalnymi, które to rozróżnienie zostało zaczerpnięte z aksjologii Maksa Schelera. Dystynkcja ta pokazała, że choć priorytet nadawany wartościom hedonicznym wyraźnie różnicuje strony sporu, to zarówno antygenderyzm, jak i myśl feministyczno-queerowa traktowana en bloc upatrują w „bezcielesnych” ideach podmiotu zagrożenia dla żywotności jednostek i społeczeństw. Rozróżnienie to okazało się również przydatne w sformułowaniu pytania o to, jak wizerunki wagin i, ogólnie, ciał kobiet używane w konfrontacji z patriarchatem mają się do sfery przyjemności

No full textW artykule skupiono się na przybliżeniu uroczystości pogrzebowych mistrza pędzla, jakim niewątpliwie był Jan Matejko oraz przedstawiono genezę założenia pierwszego na ziemiach polskich muzeum biograficznego, jakim stało się Muzeum Dom Jana Matejki (obecnie oddział Muzeum Narodowego w Krakowie). Muzeum to powstało w 1895 r. w znacznej mierze dzięki zaangażowaniu finansowemu Polaków ze wszystkich zaborów. Placówka powstała i istnieje do dzisiaj w kamienicy Jana Matejki przy ul. Floriańskiej.The article focuses on presenting the funeral ceremonies of the master painter Jan Matejko and outlines the origins of the establishment of the first biographical museum on Polish soil the Jan Matejko House Museum (currently a branch of the National Museum in Kraków). The museum was founded in 1895, largely thanks to the financial support of Poles from all three partitions. It was established and still operates today in Jan Matejko’s townhouse on Floriańska Street
