An extended pre-testing protocol in the lead-up to field studies
To establish whether interventions ultimately change behavior, they are best tested in the field. However, there is no clear consensus on how to pre-select such interventions. To address this, we propose an extended pre-testing protocol in the lead-up to field studies. This extended protocol combines different approaches by (1) distinguishing between (a) an intervention triggering the corresponding theoretical construct, (b) the construct being linked to behavioral intentions, (c) the intervention affecting behavioral intentionsand (2) accounting for emotional reactions to intervention materials. We illustrate the protocol in an online experiment (N = 636) focusing on the example behavior of opting out of daily hotel room cleans—a behavior which can help reduce the environmental footprint of tourism. The results illustrate the value of the extended pre-testing protocol in tourism and hospitality research and beyond. It increases understanding of underlying intervention mechanisms and ensures interventions are suitable for the field

Public perceptions of generative AI in creative industries: a Reddit-based text mining study
The integration of generative AI into creative industries is reshaping how content is produced, evaluated, and distributed. While recent advancements offer new opportunities for automation and innovation, they also raise questions about authorship, authenticity, and professional identity. This study examines public discourse on generative AI in creative domains through a text-mining analysis of nearly 4000 Reddit posts and comments. Drawing on six relevant subreddits from 2022 to 2025, the research investigates the structure of user engagement, interaction dynamics, and language patterns. It identifies dominant terms and phrases related to AI creativity, explores thematic clusters, and compares discussion styles across key tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, and DALL·E. Additionally, it provides a sentiment overview based on automated classification and narrative interpretation. The findings show that Reddit users engage with generative AI not only as a set of technical tools but as a source of cultural, ethical, and creative negotiation. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of how digital transformation in creative industries is shaped by public perception, platform discourse, and evolving community norms

Examples of Good Practice in the Regular Curriculum in Grades 3, 4, and 5 Using Computational Thinking Concepts
S pomočjo pristopa STEM so učenci skozi igro utrjevali že pridobljeno znanje in usvajali nova spoznanja z različnih predmetnih področij (matematika, naravoslovje in tehnika, spoznavanje okolja). This article presents examples of good practices in cross-curricular integration, that were prepared as part of the RAČek project, in regular classes of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, focusing on the development of computational thinking and application of the STEM approach. Using the STEM approach, students reinforced previously acquired knowledge and gained new insights from various subject areas (mathematics, science and technology, environmental studies) through play. In our activities, the emphasis is on holistic learning, where computational thinking develops naturally and creatively in connection with different subjects. Through role-play and hands-on problem-solving tasks, students develop an understanding of the concepts of algorithms and symbolic programming, while simultaneously exploring and consolidating learning objectives from the official curricula. The presented activities were based on collaborative and experiential learning and were enhanced with computational thinking concepts
