Analiza inovativnosti hrvatskih mikro poduzetnika
Comparative Evaluation of Bioactive Compounds and Volatile Profile of White Cabbages
Cabbage is an important source of bioactive compound, which is available throughout the year. However, a lot of different traditional, and hybrid varieties with different levels and composition of bioactive compounds can be found on the market. The aim of the study was to obtain quantitative results showing comparative differences between different white cabbages (“Čepinski”, “Varaždinski”, “Bravo”, “Ogulinski”) from Croatia. Morphometric parameters and physicochemical composition were determined while using standard procedures. Phenolic acids were determined using high-performance liquid chromatography and volatile compounds were analysed by the solid-phase micro-extraction gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (SPME-GC-MS) smethod. The results showed that studied cabbage cultivars differed in physicochemical composition and morphological traits. Six phenolic acids were identified and quantified, whereas a sinapic acid was the most dominant component (65.9–78.15 mg/kg). Aldehydes, esters, alcohols, and terpenes were the major classes of organic volatile compounds present in the studied cabbages. “Čepinski”, which has never been analysed before, showed to contain the highest amount of d-limone (40.75 µg/L) and allyl isothiocyanate (1090.26 µg/L), the most important volatile compounds responsible for the fresh cabbage flavour. The presented results mark off “Čepinski” cultivar as valuable for larger production and further examination
CHALLENGES AND DETERMINANTS OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA
U ovom radu provodi se intervju s predstavnicima regionalnih koordinatora za razvoj Vukovarsko-srijemske, Požeško-slavonske te Osječkobaranjske županije u svrhu dobivanja uvida u njihovu ulogu za razvoj spomenutih županija i općenito dobivanja uvida u njihov radIn the Republic of Croatia, the problem of uneven regional development stands out, with Slavonia being one of the most underdeveloped parts of the country. Some progress has been made in resolving this problem, including the adoption of the Law on Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia, accession to the European Union, which enabled the use of European funds and the establishment of regional coordinators. Regional coordinators, among other things, encourage more balanced development of individual counties and contribute to a more successful withdrawal of funds from European Union funds. This paper conducts an interview with representatives of the regional coordinators for development of Vukovar-Srijem, PožegaSlavonia and Osijek-Baranja counties in order to gain insight into their role in the development of these counties and in general to gain insight into their work
BUDGETING OF PROJECTS FINANCED BY EUROPEAN UNION FUNDS
The European Union is trying to improve the development of all its parts through many programs. EU fonds are assets from EU budget or financial instruments for implementation of individual EU public policies in EU member states. The goal of this work is to theoretically and practically show budgeting of projects financed by EU fonds, describe the meaning of terms: projekt, budget, fond and their features in more detail. Issue of selected theme would be comparison usefulness of EU fonds with other countries, and EU project examples in Croatia, and the availability and withdrawal of EU assets from Croatia. EU fonds finance only those projects that are in accordance with development goals of Croatia or EU. Areas that can be financed from european and structural fonds are defined by operational programs which help determine crucial measures essential for achieving priority determined in partner agreement ( document in which member state justify their strategy of european structural and investment fonds usage)
The Role of Quality Assurance System in Increasing the Quality of Higher Education in the Republic of Croatia
The aim of this paper is to explore the opinion of the academic staff on relationship between quality assurance system and improvement of teaching quality. The Quality Assurance System (QAS) was introduced in Croatian higher education institutions in 2009 by the Act on Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education (Official Gazette 45/09), following the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). The basic goal of establishing the QAS is to improve the quality of higher education institutions, respectively learning and teaching process. In this context, the aim of this paper is to examine the effectiveness of the implemented QAS in the opinion of the academic staff at institutions in the field of economics and business in the Republic of Croatia. The research for this paper was conducted using an online questionnaire in 2019, based on a sample of 100 academic staff at seven institutions in the field of economics and business in the Republic of Croatia. The views of the academic staff on the contribution of QAS to the quality of their work in the domain of teaching, curriculum, learning outcomes, methods of evaluating knowledge, and research work were examined. The results show that despite all the efforts in implementing the QAS in all institutions surveyed, only 22% of the surveyed academic staff recognize the contribution of the QAS to the quality of their academic work

BASIC FUNCTIONS IN THE ECONOMY
The main thopic of this final thesis is Basic functions in economy. VIRAL DISEASES OF FRUIT TREES AND VINES
Šarka šljive je viroza koja osim što napada šljivu, napada breskvu i marelicu te je najpoznatija i najštetnija viroza koja pogađa voćne vrsteThis final paper is based on describing the most harmful viruses in the field of viticulture and fruit growing. The grapevine is affected by about 50 different types of viruses, and the most harmful for it are golden jaundice (Flavenscence doree), and infectious degeneration of the grapevine. Viruses of apples, pears and plums have been described in fruit growing. Four viruses have been described in apple: apple mosaic, apple tree pothole virus, apple chlorotic spot virus, and apple tree virus, in pear pear ring mosaic and pear stony, and in plum hinge plum (Plum Plox virus). Plum hinge is a virus that, in addition to attacking plums, also attacks peaches and apricots, and is the best known and most harmful virus that affects fruit specie
THE PRECONDITIONS OF DRAFTING A LEGAL REGULATION
This paper systematically deals with the matter of nomotechnical rules of drafting legal regulations with special reference to essential preconditions of drafting legal regulations. The national sources of law are studied relating to the procedure of drafting legal regulations, which arise from the Rules of Procedure of the Croatian Parliament and what possibilities the prescribed and unique methodological-nomotechnical rules have. The emphasis is on determining the essential preconditions for the enaction and drafting of legal regulations, and on the advantages that contribute to a better drafting of legal regulations in the national system. This is a very interesting topic since the so-called nomotechnical rules did not appear in scientific terms until the 19th century and are still evolving. The nomotechnical rules institute plays a very important role as a foundation of legal certainty
Kasniji termin berbe rezultirao je većim udjelom šećera u grožđu i posljedično većim sadržajem alkohola u suhim vinima, manjim vrijednostima ukupne kiselosti i jabučne kiseline, dok nema značajnije razlike u antioksidativnoj aktivnosti. S druge strane, vina dobivena fermentacijom pomoću autohtonih kvasaca su pokazala nešto veću antioksidativnu aktivnost od vina dobivenih pomoću komercijalnih kvasaca
