    Digital Gender Gap in the European Union ICT employment

    This paper aims to explore the correlation between ICT educated employed women and selected socio- economic and educational indicators in EU-27 leading towards a deeper understanding of the digital gender gap throughout wide national varieties. The interconnection between the share of ICT educated women employment ratio and selected socio-economic and educational indicators for overall, former socialist and all other EU-27 countries has been observed to determine the cross-cultural varieties in EU-27, reveal positive practices, and enable their wider adoption working towards better gender-balanced ICT initiatives throughout the whole EU-27. The research conducted found both positive and negative correlation varieties in grouped countries suggesting explanatory solutions for strengthening gender-balanced policies of EU-27 need to address and respect cross-cultural differences and carefully plan joint activities in making progress towards overall gender equality

    Tema ovog rada značaj je poljoprivrednih proizvoda u vanjsko trgovinskoj razmjeni sa zemljama Europske unije i zemljama u regiji. Pod zemlje u regiji podrazumijevaju se: Srbija, Bosna i Hercegovina, Makedonija, Kosovo i Crna Gora. Poljoprivredni su proizvodi oduvijek imali velik značaj na razvoj svakog gospodarstva i uvijek su bili na cijeni, a to se vidi sad tijekom ovog rata u Ukrajini i krize izazvane Covidom-19. Osnovni je cilj ovog rada povezati značaj poljoprivrednih proizvoda za tržište Republike Hrvatske, robnu razmjenu sa zemljama članicama Europske unije i zemljama u regiji, usporediti poljoprivredu i razvoj poljoprivrede te njihove poljoprivredne proizvode u članicama EU i zemljama u regiji. Istaknut će se važnost poljoprivrednog tržišnog natjecanja pojedinih zemalja, važnost robne razmjene između Republike Hrvatske i Europske unije te zemalja u okruženju. Na pojedinim primjerima ukazat će se na dobre i loše strane prodaje i kupnje poljoprivrednih proizvoda u Republici Hrvatskoj, odnosno važnost uvoza i izvoza između navedenih zemalja.The topic of this paper is the importance of agricultural products in foreign trade with the countries of the European Union and countries in the region. Countries in the region are Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro. Agricultural products have always had great importance for the development of any economy and have always been at a premium, and this can be seen now during this war in Ukraine and the crisis caused by Covid-19. The main goal of this work is to connect the importance of agricultural products for the market of the Republic of Croatia, trade with EU member states and countries in the region, to compare agriculture and the development of agriculture and their agricultural products in EU members and countries in the region. The importance of agricultural market competition of individual countries, the importance of trade between the Republic of Croatia and the EU and neighboring countries will be emphasized. Some examples will show the good and bad sides of selling and buying agricultural products in the Republic of Croatia, that is, the importance of import and export between the mentioned countries

    Startup-i su novi oblik poduzeća koji još nema odgovarajući pandan u Republici Hrvatskoj. Glavne karakteristike su težnja globalnoj prepoznatosti i poslovanju na globalnoj razini, a odlikuju se i velikom energijom i entuzijazmom osnivača. Ipak, mnogi startup-i ne uspiju izrasti i dosegnuti svoj puni potencijal. U okruženju digitalne ekonomije, koja je uvjetovana rastom i tehnološkim napretkom te digitalizacijom procesa, razmatraju se i čimbenici uspješnosti startup-a. Pregledom teorijske podloge i prethodnih istraživanja ustanovljeno je kako su glavni čimbenici ideja, pravodobnost i sredstava osigurana za početno ulaganje. U nastavku rada provedeno je istraživanje kojim je ustanovljeno da je većina čimbenika podjednako važna za uspješnost startup-a.Startups are a new form of company that does not yet have a corresponding counterpart in the Republic of Croatia. The main characteristics are the aspiration for global recognition and business on a global level, and they are characterized by great energy and enthusiasm of the founders. However, many startups fail to grow and reach their full potential. In the environment of the digital economy, which is conditioned by growth and technological progress and digitization of processes, the success factors of startups are also considered. By reviewing the theoretical background and previous research, it was established that the main factors are ideas, timeliness and funds provided for the initial investment. In the continuation of the work, research was conducted, which established that most factors are equally important for the success of a startup

    Cilj ovog završnog rada bilo je istražiti navike u potrošnji meda i pčelinjih proizvoda roditelja i učenika u dobi od 7 do 10 godina području Općine Podgorač. Provedbom ankete utvrđeno je na koji način i koliko djeca i roditelji koriste med i pčelinje proizvode u svojoj prehrani. Ispitivanje učenika provedeno je u Osnovnoj školi Hinka Juhna Podgorač. Ispitanici su stanovnici sljedećih naselja: Podgorač, Stipanovci, Bijela Loza, Kelešinka te Ostrošinci. Anketom je bilo obuhvaćeno 60 učenika i 60 roditelja. Provedenim istraživanjem utvrdili smo kako djeca konzumiraju med, ali nisu dovoljno upoznata s vrstama meda. Roditelji konzumiraju med, poznaju vrste meda, ali nisu zadovoljni količinom konzumiranja meda i pčelinjih proizvoda u svojoj prehrani, a kao glavni razlog navode nedostatak navike.The purpose of this final study was to explore the habits in honey and bee products consumption of parents and pupils in the age of 7 – 10 years on the area of the municipality of Podgorač. By implementation of a questionnaire, it is concluded on what way and how much do children and parents consume honey and bee products in their nutrition. The survey was conducted in Hinko Juhn Elementary School. The respondents were residents of the following settlements: Podgorač, Stipanovci, Bijela Loza, Kelešinka and Ostrošinci. By the questionnaire, 60 pupils and 60 parents were implied. The results showed that children consume honey but types of honey are not familiar enough to them. Parents consume honey, know the types of honey, but they are not satisfied with the amount of honey and bee products they consume, and the main reason for that is lack of habit

    Pandemija COVID-19 u velikoj je mjeri utjecala na osobnu potrošnju kućanstava u Republici Hrvatskoj. Potrošači na različite načine donose odluke o kupnji, a u najvećoj mjeri odluka ovisi o visini raspoloživog dohotka. U okviru anketnog upitnika, koji je izradio i proveo autor ovog završnog rada istražen je utjecaj pandemije COVID-19 na osobnu potrošnju i ponašanje potrošača. Osim toga, istraženo je u kojoj mjeri se zbog utjecaja pandemije promijenila struktura izdataka kućanstava i kako je pandemija utjecala na štednju pojedinca.The COVID-19 pandemic greatly affected the personal consumption of households in the Republic of Croatia. Consumers make purchasing decisions in different ways, and to a large extent the decision depends on the amount of disposable income. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on personal consumption and consumer behavior was investigated in a questionnaire developed and conducted by the author of this final paper. In addition, the extent to which the impact of the pandemic has changed the structure of household expenditure and how the pandemic has affected individual savings will also be explored

    Kroz rad se obrađuju pojmovi kao što su regija, regionalne razlike, regionalizacija, regionalna politika, regionalni razvoj itd. Kroz rad su navede podjele regija u EU, svijetu i RH. Regionalne razlike odnose se na probleme s kojima se susreće veliki broj država, a ponajviše Republika Hrvatska. One su javljaju u situacijama kada su pojedine regije znatno razvijene, a ostale nisu. Sve regionalne razlike pokušavaju se riješiti regionalnom politikom. Ona za cilj ima razvijati slabije razvijena područja kako u EU, tako i u RH. Regionalni problemi se najčešće javljaju kada neka od regija ima visoku i trajnu nezaposlenost, nedostupnost obrazovanja, negativnu stopu prirodnog prirasta, nizak dohodak, odljev radne snage itd.The work deals with terms such as region, regional differences, regionalization, regional policy, regional development, etc. The work lists the divisions of regions in the EU, the world and the Republic of Croatia. Regional differences refer to the problems faced by many countries, especially the Republic of Croatia. They occur in situations where certain regions are significantly developed, while others are not. All regional differences are tried to be solved by regional politics. It aims to develop less developed areas both in the EU and in the Republic of Croatia. Regional problems most often occur when one of the regions has high and permanent unemployment, unavailability of education, negative rate of natural increase, low income, labor force outflow, etc

The research aims to create a more detailed systematization of natural and anthropogenic tourist attractions, as the basis of development of specific forms of tourism in Požega-Slavonia County. Created systematization will enable the identification of tourist attractions, their specific evaluation, and synthesis grouping tourist attraction toward their common features and characteristics of a tourist destination. The results will be used as the basis for the creation of specific tourism products and tourism planning in the future

    Kratki dobavni rokovi, optimiranje zaliha i uvođenje novih tehnologija koje prate suvremene trendove u skladišnom poslovanju, glavni su izazovi koje pred logistički sustav postavlja moderan način poslovanja. Upravo su ovi izazovi uvjetovali da procesi nabave, skladištenja i isporuke, postanu kritične točke poduzeća jer se samo uz uvjet njihove maksimalne efikasnosti može postići uspjeh na globalnom tržištu. Završni rad analizira ulogu i važnost upravljanja skladištem kao funkcijskim logističkim podsustavom sa svrhom postizanja uspješnog poslovanja. U radu se obrađuju pojmovi: skladišta, izgradnja i projektiranje skladišta, osoblje skladišta, suvremena tehnologija u skladištu, modeli upravljanja zalihama, neto vrijednost zaliha, popis i revizija zaliha. Komparativnom analizom prikazani su inovativni modeli skladišnog poslovanja maloprodajnih trgovačkih lanaca Amazona i Walmarta. Osim kompartivne metode, u izradi rada korištene su: induktivna i deduktivna metoda, te metode deskripcije i kompilacije.Short delivery times, inventory optimization and the introduction of new technologies that follow modern trends in warehousing the main challenges facing which puts before the logistics system the modern way of doing business. It is these challenges that have conditioned the process of procurement, storage and delivery to become critical points of the company, because only with the condition of their maximum efficiency can success in the global market be achieved. The thesis analyzes the role and importance of storage management as a functional logistics subsystem with the purpose of achieving successful business. The storages, construction and design of storages, storages staff, modern tehnology in the storages, models of inventorymanagement, net value of inventories, inventory and audit of the inventories are elaborated. Comparative analysis shows innovative warehousing models of retail chains Amazon and Walmart.     Weed Community in Soybean Responses to Agricultural Management Systems

    Weed infestation is a major cause of the poor yield of soybeans (Glycine max (L.) Merr.); therefore, proper weed management represents one of the most important and expensive steps in soybean production. Field experiments were established in northeastern parts of Croatia, in the Vukovar-Syrmia county from 2014 to 2016, arranged in a split-plot design with four replications. Two different studies were conducted: the first study was to determine the weed interference, weed biomass accumulation, yield, and yield components of soybeans growing in three different rows spacing (25, 50, and 70 cm), and the second study aimed to simulate a risk analysis by building models of probabilities for generating profit as a result of weed control. The weed community in soybean during the study period comprised 34 dicot and grass species of a varied perennation. Compositional differences in the weed community tended to be affected most by the year (humid–arid environment), followed by row spacing. There were no differences in the weed biomass accumulation with a reduction in row spacing from 70 to 50 and 25 cm. The dominant weed species Amaranthus retroflexus, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Chenopodium album, Datura stramonium, Setaria viridis, and Sorghum halepense formed the main biomass and were spread over all row spacings. There was a significant influence of row spacing, the duration of weed interference, and year on soybean yield and yield components. Weed infestation until the second trifoliate (V2) stage had no detrimental effect on soybean yield, regardless of the row spacing. The number of pods per plant significantly decreased at the same V2 stage in 25 and 50-cm rows, but in 70-cm soybean rows, this process started later, at four unfolded trifoliate leaves (V4 stage). A 1000 kernel weight was less sensitive to weed infestation and was significantly decreased at full flowering (R2 stage) in 25 and 70 cm rows, while it already decreased at the V4 stage in 50 cm rows. The probability distribution of achieving a profit showed the best results for soybeans growing in 70 cm rows, with preemergence herbicide application and two inter-row cultivation

    U završnom radu će se obraditi analiza zaposlenosti u županijama u Republici Hrvatskoj kroz pojam zaposlenosti i nezaposlenosti. Vremenski period u kojem je rađena analiza je od 2015. do 2020. godine. Pomoću podijele prema spolu i uz pomoć podataka kojima se raspolaže prikazat će se podaci o zaposlenosti u osam županije Republike Hrvatske. Uz pomoć tablica i grafikona pobliže će se prikazat zaposlenost u periodu od 2015. do 2020. godine. Za analizu podataka korišteni su vremenski nizovi, tj. indeksi na stalnoj i promjenjivoj bazi u svrhu prikaza promjene broja zaposlenih.In the final paper, the analysis of employment in counties in the Republic of Croatia is processed through the concept of employment and unemployment. The time period in which the analysis was done is from 2015 to 2020. Using the division by gender and with the help of available data, all data on employment in eight counties of the Republic of Croatia will be presented. With the help of tables and graphs, employment in the period from 2015 to 2020 will be presented in more detail. For data analysis, time series were used, i.e. indexes on a permanent and variable basis for the purpose of showing changes in the number of employees
