Partycypacyjne badania w działaniu: analiza polskich doświadczeń
Tekst powstał, aby otworzyć dyskusję nad statusem i przyszłością partycypacyjnych badań
w działaniu (ang. participatory action research, PAR). Artykuł podejmuje problem metodo-
logicznych wyzwań, jakie stoją przed badaczami starającymi się wykorzystać naukowy po-
tencjał PAR, ale też przed osobami próbującymi stosować to podejście w praktyce. Analiza
dwóch wybranych prób zastosowania PAR w Polsce (w obszarze rozwoju społeczności lokal-
nych i miejskich polityk przestrzennych) pozwala wyłonić kilka kluczowych problemów i na-
pięć charakterystycznych dla całego modelu. Autorzy w szczególności skupiają się na
bogactwie procedur badawczo-konsultacyjnych i wyjaśniają, dlaczego różnorodność ta bywa
problematyczna. Przeprowadzona analiza pokazuje, że procesowi różnicowania i adaptowania
PAR nie towarzyszyła systematyczna refleksja metodologiczna. Postępowało natomiast roz-
przęganie elementu praktycznego i poznawczego oraz oscylowanie w stronę jednego z dwóch
biegunów prowadzenia badań: modelu pozytywnego lub refleksyjnego. Efektem tego jest dryf
metodologiczny. Analiza przykładów polskich PAR pozwala zrozumieć trudności, z którymi
musi mierzyć się osoba usiłująca uprawiać badania pozostające w związku z praktyką poza-

Acquired disability during foreign missions in male war veterans Case study report of wives’ voice
The article is a qualitative research report written from the theoretical perspective
of disability studies. Qualitative research, a case study, carried out for the purposes
of this article, concerns learning about disabilities acquired in husbands a war veterans by their wives. The place of research is military culture, while the aim is to
understand the essence of what wives learned about the disability of their husbands
during the entire process of adaptation to life with a disability after returning from
a mission, against the background of life in the military culture. The theoretical part
of the article contains a review of world literature with an emphasis on defining
acquired disability. The very phenomenon of acquiring disability by veterans during
military missions and its background, i.e. the anthropological phenomenon of
culture shock, were analyzed. The empirical part of this article is a qualitative report
of 3 case studies and 3 voices of war veterans’ wives. The research question in
this report was formulated as follows: What did the wives learn about the acquired
disability of their own veterans’ husbands after their return from military missions
abroad? Research results generated after coding and categorization analyses (Gibbs, 2011) indicate categories that answer the main research question and sub-questions in the following contexts: (a) acquired disability, (b) military support, (c) veterans’ privileges (d) auto-marginalization of veterans (e) wives’ infirmity, (f) alcohol and domestic violence, (g) before suicide, (h) wives suggesting changes in the support of veterans with acquired disabilities. The results of the analyzes indicate that the wives learned about the symptoms and characteristics of their husbands’ disabilities (mental and physical) and, additionally, they learned about the secondary disability (auto-marginalization, alcohol or drug addiction, domestic violence, escalation of suicidal thoughts) during adaptation after military missions
An Evaluation of the Performance of the Twentieth Century Reanalysis Version 3
The performance of a new historical reanalysis, the NOAA–CIRES–DOE Twentieth Century Reanalysis version 3 (20CRv3), is evaluated via comparisons with other reanalyses and independent observations. This dataset provides global, 3-hourly estimates of the atmosphere from 1806 to 2015 by assimilating only surface pressure observations and prescribing sea surface temperature, sea ice concentration, and radiative forcings. Comparisons with independent observations, other reanalyses, and satellite products suggest that 20CRv3 can reliably produce atmospheric estimates on scales ranging from weather events to long-term climatic trends. Not only does 20CRv3 recreate a “best estimate” of the weather, including extreme events, it also provides an estimate of its confidence through the use of an ensemble. Surface pressure statistics suggest that these confidence estimates are reliable. Comparisons with independent upper-air observations in the Northern Hemisphere demonstrate that 20CRv3 has skill throughout the twentieth century. Upper-air fields from 20CRv3 in the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century correlate well with full-input reanalyses, and the correlation is predicted by the confidence fields from 20CRv3. The skill of analyzed 500-hPa geopotential heights from 20CRv3 for 1979–2015 is comparable to that of modern operational 3–4-day forecasts. Finally, 20CRv3 performs well on climate time scales. Long time series and multidecadal averages of mass, circulation, and precipitation fields agree well with modern reanalyses and station- and satellite-based products. 20CRv3 is also able to capture trends in tropospheric-layer temperatures that correlate well with independent products in the twentieth century, placing recent trends in a longer historical context.The NOAA–CIRES–DOE Twentieth Century Reanalysis Project version 3 used resources of the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) managed by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, which is supported by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy under Contract DE-AC02-05CH11231 and used resources of NOAA’s Remotely Deployed High-Performance Computing Systems. Myślimy tu o zachowanych i wydanych: Pamiętniku , Rozważaniach na tle Ewangelii , artykułach, konferencjach, szkicach kazań oraz listach obozowych . Do tej pory w opracowaniach poświęconych błogosławionemu odwoływano się przede wszystkim do jego zapisów w Pamiętniku. Pozostałe teksty ks. Stefana, choć przywoływane w pracach, cały czas oczekują jednak na swoje szczegółowe zainteresowanie badaczy. W niniejszym artykule dokonano analizy zapisów czynionych przez kleryka Stefana w trakcie lektury Ewangelii wg św. Łukasza. Zagadnienie, którym chcemy się zająć, dotyczy nie tylko diakonów stałych. Szczególnie teraz, zdając sobie sprawę ze zmniejszającą się liczbą powołań kapłańskich w całej Polsce, czy powołań do stanu zakonnego (mężczyzn i kobiet). Jak wiemy wskazuje się na przyczyny tego stanu rzeczy na wiele uwarunkowań. Wydaje się, że jedną z ważnych przyczyn, a to przekonanie podnoszą nasi bracia protestanci, jest brak ojca w wychowaniu dziecka. Inni podnoszą panujący nie tylko w wychowaniu szkolnym, ale także w realizacji zbawczej posługi Kościoła trend indywidualizmu lub indywidualizacji, tak bardzo charakterystycznych dla postmodernizmu .
Uwagę naszą skoncentrujemy jednak na powołaniu do diakonatu stałego i odpowiedzialności za powołania diakońskie ich wspólnot pochodzenia. Jesteśmy przekonani, że te refleksje i uwagi poczynione w odniesieniu do diakona stałego, będzie można także odnieść do innych powołań i wezwań w Kościele. Jednakże, by do takiej świadomości mogło dojść, to, przywołując stwierdzenie św. Jana Pawła II wspólnoty pochodzenia diakonów stałych powinna charakteryzować miłość Kościoła, świadcząca o odpowiedzialności za niego

Proceedings in matters of labour law and social security after the amendment to the CCP
Artykuł jest poświęcony jest przedstawieniu zmian dokonanych ustawą 4 lipca 2019 r. oraz ustawą z 16 maja 2019 r. o zmianie ustawy - Kodeks Pracy oraz niektórych innych ustaw, ale jedynie w zakresie mającym wpływ na obecny kształt postępowania odrębnego w sprawach z zakresu prawa pracy i ubezpieczeń społecznych. Dwie przywołane ustawy obejmują zarówno zmiany mające przełomowe znaczenie z punktu widzenia stosowania prawa, jak również takie o charakterze terminologicznym, jak i techniczno-organizacyjnym, mające na celu usunięcie dotychczasowych niejasności, które można uznać za porządkujące.
Przyjętą przez Autorkę kolejność omawianych zmian wyznaczają etapy postępowania w sprawach z zakresu prawa pracy i ubezpieczeń społecznych. Artykuł zasadniczo koncentruje się na przedstawieniu najważniejszych zmian k.p.c., Autorka jednak nie stroni od ich oceny.The article is devoted to the presentation of changes made by the Act of July 4, 2019 and the Act of May 16, 2019 amending the Act - Labour Code and some other acts, but only to the extent that affects the current shape of separate proceedings in the matters of labour law and social security. The two cited acts include changes that have a breakthrough significance from the point of view of applying the law, those of terminological character as well as technical and organizational ones, aimed at removing current ambiguities that can be considered as ordering.
The order of the changes adopted by the author determines the stages of proceedings in the matters related to labour law and social security. The article essentially focuses on presenting the most important changes in the Code of Civil Procedure, but the author does not avoid their assessment

to be explored in greater detail. The 18th century saw
the formation of several short-lived meteorological networks
of which the one organised by the Societas Meteorologica
Palatina is arguably the most well known. This network stood
out as one of the few that efficiently managed to control its
members, integrating, refining, and publishing measurements
taken from numerous stations around Europe and beyond.
Although much has been written about the network in both
history, science, and individual prominent series used for cli
matological
studies, the actual measurements have not yet
been digitised and published in extenso. This paper repre
sents
an important step towards filling this perceived gap in
research. Here, we provide an inventory listing the availabil
ity
of observed variables for the 37 stations that belonged
to the society’s network and discuss their historical context.
Most of these observations have been digitised, and a con
siderable
fraction has been converted and formatted. In this
paper, we focus on the temperature and pressure measure
ments,
which have been corrected and homogenised.We then
demonstrate their potential for climate research by analysing
two cases of extreme weather. The recovered series will have
wide applications and could contribute to a better under
standing
of the mechanisms behind climatic variations and
