Base de datos EEG para detección de géneros musicales.
This database is made up of EEG signals from 6 subjects listening to fragments of songs from different musical genres and their answers to the questions: did you know this song and do you like this song?. The musical genres chosen are: ballad, classic, metal and reggaeton.
These signals have been captured with the BrainVision actiCHAMP-PLUS system and consist of a total of 64 EEG channels. The BrainVision Recorder software was used to store the signals. The stimulus presentation software used to design the experiment is Eprime 3.

Folded–twisted mechanisms control dynamic redox properties, photophysics and electron transfer of anthanthrene-quinodimethanes
The synthesis, electrochemical, spectroelectrochemical, photophysical and light induced electron transfer reactions in two new anthanthrene quinodimethanes have been studied and analyzed in the context of dynamic electrochemistry. Their properties are dependent on the interconversion between folded and twisted forms, which are separated by a relatively small energy range, thus allowing to explore their interconversion by variable temperature measurements. The photophysics of these molecules is mediated by a diradical excited state with a twisted structure that habilitates rapid intersystem crossing. Moreover, when codissolved with an electron acceptor compound such as PCBM, direct anthanthrene to PCBM electron transfer and back-electron transfer are also observed, resulting in the formation of charged states and, then, a raise in the population of the excited state triplet manifold upon charge recombination. Some of these properties have been interpreted with the help of quantum chemical calculations. The existence of an equilibrium between folded and twisted states upon electrochemical and photoexcitation stimuli represents a novelty in comparison with existing literature on compounds also showing dynamic electrochemical properties.Financial support by the MCIN/AEI of Spain (projects PID2021-127127NB-I00, PID2022-136231NB-I00 and RED2022-134939-T –Red de Fotovoltaica), and the Junta de Andaluc´ıa (PROYEXCEL-0328) are acknowledged. Dynamical boundary value problem for a viscoelastic half-space with cut
The dynamical boundary value problem for viscoelastic half-space with cut in the form of a strip is considered. The problem is reduced to the singular integral equation of first kind. Using the method of orthogonal polynomials, the integral equation is reduced to an infinite system of linear algebraic equations. Who takes the cake? the heterogeneous effect of European Central Bank accommodative monetary policy across income classes
This work provides evidence of the heterogeneous effects of the ECB's monetary policy across income classes. In particular, this investigation focuses on the labor market channel. Based on EU-SILC data, we estimate country-specific structural vector autoregressions (SVAR) models to analyze the impact of the expansionary monetary policy shocks over the 2006–2019 period. The results suggest that monetary easing helped decrease unemployment rates for lower- and middle-income classes, to a larger extent for the former. This differential impact is accounted for a stronger improvement in job finding rates for classes located at the bottom of the income distribution. Conversely, the employment status of the upper class remained largely unaffected. The analysis identifies a positive impact of expansionary monetary policy on real labor income, which seems to have mostly benefitted the upper class. Overall, our results suggest that expansionary monetary policy helped decrease labor income inequality by exerting a stronger positive impact on lower-income households.Funding for open access charge: Universidad de Málaga / CBUA

Dataset Cybervictimization:somatic complaints.
Background/Objective: The main purpose of this study was to examine the rela-tionships among cybervictimization, maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies andsomatic complaints in a 4-month follow-up study. Method: A total of 1,024 high school students(456 male and 568 female, M (SD) = 13.69 years (1.3 years), range 12---18 years, voluntarily par-ticipated in this study. Measures of cybervictimization and cognitive strategies were obtainedat Time 1. Four months later (Time 2), measures of somatic complaints were obtained. Results:Multiple mediation analyses were conducted to determine the mediating roles of maladaptivestrategies in the link between cybervictimization and somatic complaints. As expected, path-analytic results showed that cybervictimization predicted somatic symptoms. Furthermore,some maladaptive regulation strategies, namely self-blame and rumination, partially medi-ated the link between cybervictimization and somatic symptoms evaluated 4-months later.Conclusions: The findings are discussed in terms of the role that maladaptive cognitive emotionregulation strategies might play with regards to physical health in cyberbullying episodes. Decomposing the gender wage gap: an analysis of the tourism sector at the European level.
Objective: This paper uses a micro and macro perspectives simultaneously, through a multilevel approach, which may be helpful for understanding how the characteristics of the employees of each country and how the country characteristics can affect the differences at European level in the gender wage gap and its discriminatory component in the tourism sector.
Results: A general finding from the analyses indicated that significant variance exists within and among nations in wage structures. The results also show that heterogeneity between countries explained by contextual factors, such as the economic and institutional conditions of the European countries, are key factors for decomposing the gender wage gap in the tourism sector, although, individual heterogeneity due to educational mismatch, labour mobility or occupational segregation, among others, are also relevant.Universidad de Málaga. ER-plastid contact sites as molecular crossroads for plastid lipid biosynthesis

In plants, ER‒chloroplast contact sites are critical for maintaining glycerolipid homeostasis. This review examines the lipid-modifying and lipid-transfer proteins/complexes involved in these processes. Key proteins at these sites, including components of the TGD and VAP27‒ORP2A complexes, as well as Sec14 proteins, facilitate lipid exchange. Additionally, the roles of lipid-modifying proteins at these contact sites are discussed. Despite significant progress, further research is needed to identify additional proteins, investigate ER‒chloroplast dynamics under stress and explore ER contact sites in non-chloroplast plastids
Delphi assessment of the management of risk factors for exposure to wood dust generated in the handling of wood or wood composite materials in work activities in Spain
https://openpolicyfinder.jisc.ac.uk/id/publication/13808In the European Union, cancer is the leading cause of death from exposure to carcinogens in working environments. One of these is wood dust, which in the particular case of Spain is one of the four main carcinogens that workers are most frequently exposed to. In addition, it should be noted that there is still little knowledge about the risk factors associated with this exposure. Therefore, this research provides valuable information on how risk factors are current managed to minimise the risk of exposure to wood dust in occupational activities carried out in Spain that involve the handling or processing of wood. This is achieved through the expert consensus reached through the Delphi methodology. In general, the appropriate measures are not taken in wood handling processes to manage the risk factors related to exposure to wood dust. This means that workers are at high risk. This situation is worsened by the fact that workers are hardly ever aware of the risks of exposure to wood dust. Therefore, the following preventive measures are proposed: the use of instruments for measuring and warning of dust levels in the air; investment in systems for evacuation and storage of wood dust; daily cleaning of floors, walls and other surfaces by vacuuming using HEPA air filters; redesign of production processes and investment in new technologies to reduce occupational exposure; improving staff organisation measures to reduce as far as possible the number of workers exposed or likely to be exposed; conducting risk assessments when there are changes in technology, equipment or working conditions.PID2020- 114502GB-I00 “Complexity and Resilience: A Systemic Approach to Monitoring and Improving Construction Safety Managemen
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) for pediatric chronic non-cancer pain: A systematic review
Objective
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an emerging intervention in the paediatric population but is also increasingly being applied across a range of conditions, including chronic noncancer pain (CNCP). The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of ACT in paediatric CNCP.
Methods
A systematic review of English and Spanish articles was conducted. The search was performed in July 2023 and updated in September 2024, using Medline, APA PsycInfo, Psychology Database, APA PsycArticles, PubMed, and Web of Science. We included quasi-experimental pre-post studies and randomized controlled trials (RCT) based on ACT treatment for the paediatric population with a diagnosis of CNCP. Data were extracted by two of the authors using predefined data fields. The risk of bias was evaluated using the Study Quality Assessment Tools of the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute.
Results
Nine articles met the inclusion criteria (8 pre-post studies and one RCT), involving a total of 423 children and adolescents and 380 parents. The studies assessed variables related to the following areas: physical, psychological, and social/academic. The inclusion of parents in the intervention was taken into account. At a moderate level of evidence, the following variables generally showed a significant change after the intervention: pain interference, anxiety, depression, pain catastrophizing, pain reactivity, and psychological flexibility in the children, adolescents, and their parents. However, overall, the studies had a moderate risk of bias.
Conclusions
ACT could be efficacious in the treatment of paediatric CNCP; furthermore, the inclusion of parents could lead to improved outcomes. While these findings are promising, further research is needed.Funding for open access charge: Universidad de Málaga / CBU
