Gender differences in European Union’s youth political participation
The year 2022 has been declared by the European Council as ‘European Year of Youth’. Because of this, this article seeks to know which role the European youth thinks the European Union could play on their future and whether if there are gender differences about it. Likewise, those differences are analysed in different social and political activities both in the Union as a whole and by different geographical areas. This paper shows how men tend to take part in conventional activities while women seem to feel more distant about political participation. It also unravels the existing gender differences regarding the obstacles to take part in any type of action
Domestic space and television in Spain. Uses and daily memory of the television in nineties
This paper reflects on imaginary on television in nineties, when private channels broke in and the offer multiplied in Spain. The period is rebuilt using the viewer’s point of view. The analysis material has been obtained through discussion groups and in-depth interviews carried out to retrieve the memory of this period. There is an ambivalent relationship with that television. The analysis reconstructs a media that was watched in groups and that performed an intense function of social cohesion. But there are also identified dynamics (simplification, sentimentality, moral transgression ...) and values (machismo, classism, conservatism ...) around which viewers usually articulate an oppositional reading
A hybrid machine learning system to impute and classify a component-based robot
In the field of cybernetic systems and more specifically in robotics, one of the fundamental objectives is the detection of anomalies in order to minimize loss of time. Following this idea, this paper proposes the implementation of a Hybrid Intelligent System in four steps to impute the missing values, by combining clustering and regression techniques, followed by balancing and classification tasks. This system applies regression models to each one of the clusters built on the instances of data set. Subsequently, a variety of balancing techniques are applied to improve the classifier’s ability to discern whether it is in an error or a normal state. These techniques support to obtain better classification ratios in which a robot is close to error and allow us to bring the behavior back to a normal state. The experimentation is performed using a modern and public data set, which has been extracted from a component-based robotic system, in which different anomalies are induced by software in their components
Life and work of the peruvian author José María Eguren: Analysis of the poem «Marioneta misteriosa» (tenderness as the center of Eguren’s poetry)
The Peruvian literatura has great authors who are deployed along the different periods of

Collaborative Virtual Reality Environment for Training Load Movement with Overhead Bridge Cranes
In the last decade, the rapid development and the price reduction of
immersive Virtual Reality (iVR) devices allow its application to a wide range of
applications. The sense of immersion and presence that these iVR devices produce
surpasses any other display. These unique characteristic opens up new ways of
training in Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP). iVR can create applications in
collaborative training environments that mimic real situations and reinforce collaborative work and avoids unnecessary risks to the user in their training, as well as to
other people or equipment that would exist if working with real equipment. Overhead cranes are one of the most interesting elements for the application of iVR
training simulators. Firstly, because they are present throughout the production
space and their movement involves the displacement of heavy loads that are not
always well balanced. In addition, these movements occur in areas where other
operators might be present and, in some cases, their collaboration is necessary
during the movement stage. This research presents the design of a collaborative
iVR application for training the movement of loads with overhead cranes. This
developed application focuses on providing the user with the ability to proficiently
operate an overhead crane. The usefulness of the iVR application was tested with 3
experienced overhead crane operators and 29 undergraduate students. These users
reported that the experience was enjoyable and felt that the iVR environment was
realistic and that the application would be useful to train how to handle an overhead
bridge crane. This work was partially supported by the ACIS project (Reference Number INVESTUN/21/BU/0002) of the Consejeria de Empleo e Industria of the Junta de Castilla y León (Spain) and the Erasmus + RISKREAL Project (Reference Number 2020-1-ES01-KA204- 081847) of the European Commission. Disconnected Out of Passion: Relationship Between Social Alienation and Obsessive Passion
Violent radicalization continues to be a global problem. One of the main proposals for understanding radicalization and support for political violence is based on social alienation as a trigger. That is, individuals who feel alienated from society try to get out of this situation by using violence, if necessary. However, social alienation alone is not enough to explain radicalization. Therefore, we propose that social alienation interacts with other factors to foster radicalization. Particularly, we propose that obsessive passion, an internal compulsion that leads a person to engage in an activity even when they should not, is one of the interacting factors. Following previous literature, we hypothesized that higher social alienation predicts support for political violence to a greater extent the higher the obsessive passion. To test this hypothesis, we performed two studies in which the cause of passion varied (religion: N = 652 and family: N = 873). Both studies assessed social alienation, harmonious and obsessive passion, and support for political violence. The results showed a significant increase in the effect of social alienation on support for political violence when obsessive passion was higher, even controlling by harmonious passion. These results highlight the importance of considering other variables related to social alienation that could facilitate radicalization processes, particularly maintaining an obsessive passion for a cause when one feels a social disconnection. The theoretical and practical implications of these results are discussed given their contributions to prevention based on work on feelings of social disconnection and harmonization of causes. The author(s) disclosed receipt of the following financial support for the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article: This work was supported by the Centro Mixto UGR-MADOC under Grant 18/16 CEMIX UGR-MADOC and by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033/ under Grant PID2020-116646RB-I00

An Analysis of the Efficiency of European Funds
The chapter analyses the use and management of the European Structural and Investment Funds, attending to the differences between the countries that carry out them to highlight possible inefficiencies. Taking the EU funds related to the Multiannual Financial Framework 2014–2020, made up by 7.162 projects, the types of funds and their distribution among the countries are analysed through different maps, by comparing budget, decided and spending policies for the projects by each country, with special emphasize the European Regional Development Fund and Cohesion Fund. The paper continues with an empirical research to contrast the hypotheses connected with the efficiency use of funds and indicators that measure the level of transparency and corruption in each country. The results show that the efficiency is higher in northern countries, Finland and Denmark especially, where the levels of transparency are higher and the corruption rates lower
«Cuentos pendientes.
