    No full text
Treball Final del Doble Grau en Administració d'Empreses i Dret. Codi: DA0249. Curs 2025/2026Rural depopulation constitutes one of the main territorial challenges in Spain, especially in inland municipalities, where population decline and the loss of economic activity jeopardise long-term development. In this context, sustainable rural tourism is presented as an alternative capable of revitalising the local economy and generating new opportunities that are compatible with the conservation of the natural environment. This study aims to develop a business plan for the launch of an innovative rural accommodation based on the concept of nest houses in the municipality of Villafranca del Cid (Castellón). The proposal is grounded in a sustainable and experiential tourism model, oriented towards disconnection, well-being and harmonious integration with the surrounding environment, and seeks to contribute to the economic and social development of the area. The business plan is structured around an analysis of the environment and the tourism sector, the identification of the market opportunity, and the definition of the business model and competitive positioning. Likewise, the different functional plans required for the implementation of the project are developed, including the marketing plan, the operations plan, the human resources plan, the legal and tax plan, and the economic and financial plan. To this end, information from secondary sources is used, as well as data obtained through a survey of potential users and an interview with the Villafranca del Cid Tourism Office. The economic and financial analysis makes it possible to conclude that the project presents reasonable viability in the medium term, provided that occupancy is progressively consolidated and prudent cost management is maintained. Therefore, VilaNiu is configured as a business proposal that is consistent with current trends in sustainable rural tourism and has the capacity to generate value for both visitors and the local environment

The growing cultural and linguistic fusion of our contemporary world also becomes evident in what is known as intercultural literature. Characteristic of this “genre” is the innovative use of the language in which it is written, as well as echoes from the authors' first language. This work investigates the extent to which and the ways in which interculturality is reflected in the linguistic and aesthetic dimensions of texts when they are translated into a third language. The study focuses on four works by two authors who write in German —Emine Sevgi Özdamar, of Turkish origin, and Yoko Tawada, of Japanese origin— and their translations into Spanish, specifically on three microtextual elements that convey interculturality: metaphors, modified idiomatic expressions, and ad hoc compounds. The analysis shows that, with some nuances, the innovative character and “strangeness” of these elements are preserved in the translations.Programa de Doctorat en Llengües Aplicades, Literatura i Traducci

La comunicación del propósito corporativo en organizaciones con impacto positivo. Sinergias y comparaciones entre las prácticas de las B Corporations y de las ONG.

    No full text
In a context where companies are called to act as agents of social change, corporate purpose emerges as an evolution of corporate social responsibility and as a strategic axis of corporate communication. Through a qualitative research design structured in four phases (content analysis, horizontal comparison, expert interviews, and triangulation) the study explores the differences and synergies between both organizational models. The findings reveal that while B Corporations are founded with an activated purpose, NGOs face challenges in updating their communication strategies. The research concludes that purpose only generates impact when it is activated, coherently communicated, and connected to action, proposing a framework to enhance the integration and communication of purpose in organizations operating with limited resources.Programa de Doctorat en Ciències de la Comunicaci

Microwave-Assisted Synthesis of CsPbBr3 Perovskite Nanocrystals for Optoelectronic Applications Resum de la tesi (Anglès)

    No full text
Compendi d'articles, Doctorat internacionalPerovskite nanocrystals have emerged as outstanding materials for optoelectronic applications due to their tunable composition, bright emission, and tolerance to defects. Among them, all-inorganic CsPbBr3 nanocrystals exhibit exceptional photoluminescence and stability, making them ideal for next-generation LEDs. However, conventional hot-injection synthesis is complex, energy-intensive, and unsuitable for scale-up. This Ph.D. thesis explores microwave-assisted synthesis as a fast, sustainable alternative, enabling precise control of crystal size and halide composition while achieving high photoluminescence quantum yields after purification. The resulting nanocrystals were successfully integrated into LEDs, showing sharp emission, high efficiency, and excellent luminance. A life cycle assessment revealed that microwave synthesis dramatically reduces energy consumption compared to conventional methods, without compromising material quality. Overall, this work demonstrates that microwave-assisted strategies combine performance and sustainability, offering a scalable route for high-quality CsPbBr3 nanocrystals and advancing their integration into practical optoelectronic technologies.Programa de Doctorat en Cièncie

CADialogue: A multimodal LLM-powered conversational assistant for intuitive parametric CAD modeling

    No full text
Recent advances in generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)—particularly Large Language Models (LLMs)—offer a new paradigm for CAD interaction by enabling natural and intuitive input through texts, images, and context-aware selections. In this study, we present CADialogue, a multimodal LLM-powered conversational assistant to enable intuitive parametric CAD modeling through natural language, speech, image, and selection-based geometry interactions. Built on a general-purpose large language model, CADialogue translates user prompts into executable code to support geometry creation and context-aware editing. The system features a modular architecture that decouples prompt handling, refinement logic, and execution—allowing seamless model replacement as LLMs develop—and includes caching for rapid reuse of validated designs. We evaluate the system on 70 modeling and 10 editing tasks across varying difficulty levels, assessing performance in terms of accuracy, refinement behavior, and execution time. Results show an overall success rate of 95.71%, combining a 91.43% baseline under Text-Only input with additional recoveries enabled by Text + Image input, with robust recovery from failure via self-correction and human-in-the-loop refinement. Comparative analysis reveals that image input improves success in semantically complex prompts but introduces additional processing time. Furthermore, caching confirmed macros yields over 85.71% speedup in repeated executions. These findings highlight the potential of general-purpose LLMs for enabling accessible, iterative, and accurate CAD modeling workflows without domain-specific fine-tuning.This work was supported by the project PID2022-137254OB-I00, funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100 011033/FEDER, UE
