The Drivers of Customer Behavioral Intention in Live Streaming Commerce: The Role of Live Streamer

of livestream marketing on customer behavioral intentions, focusing on the role of streamer
attractiveness and social interaction. By employing the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR)
framework, this research explores how these factors influence emotional arousal and
perceived value and consumer intentions to watch, purchase, and recommend products
showcased in livestreams. This study delved into the growing realm of livestream shopping,
exploring how streamer attractiveness and social interaction influence consumer behavior.
The research employed an online survey to analyze the impact of these elements on emotional
arousal, perceived value, and various behavioral intentions related to watching, purchasing,
and recommending products showcased in livestreams. The results underscored the
significance of streamer attractiveness and social interaction in driving consumer engagement.
Streamer attractiveness positively affected emotional arousal and perceived value, while
social interaction enhanced these factors. Moreover, emotional arousal and perceived value
emerged as crucial determinants of consumer intentions to watch, purchase, and recommend
products featured in livestreams. These findings offer valuable insights for marketers seeking
to optimize livestream marketing strategies. By enhancing streamer attractiveness and
fostering social interaction, marketers can effectively stimulate consumer emotional arousal,
reinforce perceived value, and drive favorable behavioral intentions. This study thus
underscores the pivotal role of livestreaming as a dynamic and influential tool in
contemporary marketing landscapes
Does Mental Health influence the purchase intention of Rural Tourism?
Dissertation presented as the partial requirement for obtaining a Master's degree in Information Management, specialization in Knowledge Management and Business IntelligenceRural tourism has been increasing during the last decade. The continuous investment and effort
applied to its development accentuates the need to further comprehend the intentions of its visitors.
Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, this research provides evidence on how perceived mental
health, memory, and escapism influence the visiting intention of rural tourism in Portugal. The results
using SEM-PLS on a survey of 191 respondents suggest that the moderating effect of perceived mental
health affects visiting intention. The direct effects of memory, attitude, subjective norms, and
perceived behavioral control also affect behavioral intention. The mediating role of visiting intention
was also considered in the investigation
Growth strategy development of x: in-depth analysis of Poland
Company X is a Portuguese payment processing company that offers a wide variety of financial
solutions to both businesses and consumers. This project comprises an internationalization and
entry strategy plan, whose aim is to help X to implement its new cryptocurrency payment
gateway. Therefore, a country ranking and clustering analysis for the Eastern Europe area were
performed, followed by an in-depth analysis of the top 5 countries. Finally, a product
development combined with an internationalization strategy was conceived for Poland and
Czechia, respectively, alongside with a marketing plan and a financial forecast analysis, which
will help assess this project’s viability

playing a vital role in understanding search queries and delivering accurate results. Large
language models (LLM) are reshaping user interactions and experience. One significant
development is AI-powered search engines, such as Google's Search Generative Experience
(SGE) panel, which introduces new dynamics to the SEO landscape, complemented by
conversational interfaces that enhance search interactions' precision and refinement. As
traditional search results lose prominence, uncertainty prevails regarding the impact of
Google's SGE on informative content metrics like click-through rate (CTR). This study
investigates the implications of AI, particularly Google's SGE, on user search behavior and the
SEO industry's landscape, focusing on informational content. A qualitative study involving
interviews with sixteen SEO industry professionals was conducted. Network construction,
visualization techniques, and thematic data analysis were employed to identify relevant topic
clusters and ensure the integrity of the findings. The research reveals that AI-powered search
engines, like Google's SGE, significantly impact user behavior and organic traffic. AI-driven
personalization and accuracy in search results enhance user satisfaction but challenge
traditional SEO practices by reducing the prominence of organic search results and clickthrough rates (CTR). This study provides valuable insights into how AI reshapes SEO practices,
addressing a notable gap in academic literature. By analyzing industry professionals'
perspectives, the research offers a comprehensive understanding of AI's transformative
effects on SEO and user interactions. The findings contribute to understanding how AI
reshapes SEO practices, providing valuable insights for professionals navigating this evolving

Empirical evidence on the impact of secondary slot trading on route-level efficiency: a study of London´s heathrow airport
The existing airport slot allocation system, burdened by rising demand and limited infrastruc ture, promotes anti-competitive practices and economic inefficiencies. It allows incumbent air lines to operate inefficient "ghost flights" to retain slots, thereby deterring new entrants and
keeping slot mobility low. This master's thesis investigates a market-based alternative. Employ ing quantitative analysis, it examines the effects of secondary slot trading on the efficiency of
specific routes at London's Heathrow Airport from the summer of 2016 to the winter of 2019.
The research indicates that secondary slot trading results in greater route-level concentration
and potentially smaller aircraft sizes, suggesting negative competitive implications. Yet, it also
points out that such trading significantly expands route networks, revealing a complex balance
between market dynamism and the risk of monopolization, with further research needed to refine slot trading mechanisms

10.54499/2021.09496.BDThe rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in services enable companies to replace human labor with technology. Companies often adopt AI as a source of competitive advantage, forgetting about its potential detrimental impact on their employees and customers. This issue is particularly critical in the service industry, where human interaction is still highly valued. This thesis examines the impact of AI on different service stakeholders according to the Consumer–Autonomous Technology–Worker (CAW) framework and the Feeling Economy paradigm, targeting AI replacement and AI aversion in the service context, with the aim to understand the most relevant and the least jarring ways of AI integration. More specifically, a set of 12 studies, including sentiment analyses and experimental design approach, indicate that AI replacement has a negative influence on service employees but also is not perceived favorably by customers. For instance, the research demonstrates that companies’ self-promotion of AI-empowered resources (vs. human-centered resources) can reduce customers’ willingness to engage with service and can be perceived as exaggeration derived from amplified self-discrepancy. Then, the thesis reveals the negative impact of AI presence in the workplace, such as increased fear of being replaced and decreased performance due to employees’ self-comparison with AI abilities. Concurrently, customers express concern over employees being replaced by AI. Next, the research proposes an alternative to AI replacement — augmentation approach — which is perceived by customers as more enjoyable and easier to use, increasing the willingness to accept the service. Finally, the thesis provides important theoretical implications and informed practices, helping to mitigate AI’s negative outcomes on companies, employees, and customers.https://doi.org/10.54499/2021.09496.B

Os livros de gravuras antigas chinesas são obras de arte em contexto dos
conceitos de diferentes épocas e dos pensamentos estéticos. Por conseguinte, é
necessário efetuar um estudo sistemático da apreciação estética dos livros de gravura
da China Antiga, com base na teoria da edição de livros antigos, da filologia,
integrando a estética tradicional e o pensamento artístico chineses, e tendo em conta
as fontes, as ilustrações, os seus formatos, capas, encadernações e decorações,
técnicas de gravação, papel e tinta, selos de colecionador, bem como postilas e
posfácio de eruditos famosos. Entre eles, a seleção e divulgação do estilo caligráfico
de livros antigos reflete a transformação da naturalização para a padronização da
estética das fontes nesses livros. As ilustrações têm as características da época e do
desenvolvimento, devido à influência mútua de diferentes estilos regionais,
desenvolvimento de capacidades criativas e intervenção de eruditos. Os estudos dos
formatos, as capas, as encadernações e as decorações dos livros de gravura antigos
evoluíram continuamente, revelando uma beleza artística única.
Esta dissertação apresenta principalmente os aspetos mais importantes da
impressão de livros antigos chineses, tais como a caligrafia, a ilustração, o formato e a
encadernação. Por fim, explora o novo caminho da impressão e gravação de livros
antigos através do intercâmbio de ideias entre o Oriente e o Ocidente.Chinese ancient print books are works of art created by the concepts of each era
and aesthetic thoughts. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an exhaustive and
systematic study on the aesthetic appreciation of ancient Chinese engraving books,
based on the theory of ancient book publishing, philology, integrating Chinese
traditional aesthetics and artistic thought, and taking full account of the sources,
engraved illustrations, their formats, covers, bindings and decorations, engraving
techniques, paper and ink, collector's stamps, as well as postils and postscripts of
famous scholars. Among them, the selection and dissemination of the calligraphic
style of ancient books reflects the transformation from naturalization to the
standardization of the aesthetics of ancient book engraving fonts. Engraving
illustrations have the characteristics of the time and development, due to the mutual
influence of different regional styles, the development of creative abilities and the
intervention of scholars. Studies of the formats, covers, bindings and decorations of
antique engraving books continually evolved, revealing a unique artistic beauty.
This dissertation mainly presents the most important aspects of ancient Chinese
book printing, such as calligraphy, illustration, format and binding. Finally, it explores
the new path of printing and engraving ancient books through the exchange of ideas
between East and West
Integração Energética na rede de BFW do Steam Cracker
A Repsol Polímeros pretende proceder à eletrificação dos compressores de Etileno e Propileno no Steam Cracker (SC). Este projeto terá impacto na distribuição e consumo de vapor, sendo que corrobora com a redução de caudal de vapor expandido pelas turbinas de expansão para a rede de condensados.
Os objetivos são estudar o impacto da temperatura da Boiler FeedWater (BFW) no consumo de fuel gas (FG) e emissões de dióxido de carbono (CO2) nas fornalhas e aquecer a corrente importada de água desmineralizada (AD) – a 25°C – através de métodos de integração energética.
A simulação da rede de condensados (antes e após eletrificação) foi feita no Aspen Hysys (AH), a análise Pinch no Aspen Energy Analyzer (AEA) e o efeito da temperatura da BFW na fornalha no Spyro.
Concluiu-se a necessidade de importar mais 50t/h de AD. O estudo revelou um aumento no consumo de FG de 1,8% (consumo de mais 3,2ktFG/ano) e um aumento de 1,3% na emissão de CO2, igual a 10,5ktCO2/ano gerando custos anuais de 2,3M€.
No âmbito do aquecimento da corrente de AD, evidenciaram-se viáveis e rentáveis propostas como: a análise Pinch ao trem de Quench Oil (QO) com excesso de vapor no futuro onde se concluiu a necessidade de um novo permutador de calor (PC); o revamping da fornalha com aquisição de um novo bundle; revisão do dimensionamento da válvula de controlo do desarejador; reaproveitamento das purgas das caldeiras com aquisição de um novo PC e, destacando-se como mais promissora, a proposta de reaproveitamento do E9101, utilizando uma corrente de processo, Quench Water (QW), com um investimento de 135k€, um VAL de 1,3M€ e um PRC de 6,2 meses.
Estudou-se a otimização do aeroarrefecedor após eletrificação, reduzindo 61% das emissões de CO2 e uma poupança de 525k€/ano. O trem de QO foi otimizado alterando o tipo de utilidade quente gerada, sendo possível prescindir de um kettle e prevenção de 48 Mcal/h de energia dissipada pelas válvulas redutoras.
A combinação das propostas recomendadas, juntamente com o projeto de eletrificação, prevê uma redução de 32% das emissões de CO2 e 23% do consumo de FG no SC, representando uma poupança de 24M€ anualmente que, comparativamente com as metas da empresa, ambiciona reduzir 30% de emissões totais de CO2 até 2030.Repsol Polímeros plans to electrify the ethylene and propylene compressors in the Steam Cracker (SC). This project is expected to impact the distribution and consumption of steam, thereby reducing the steam flow expanded by the expansion turbines into the conden sate network.
The objectives of this study are to assess the impact of Boiler Feedwater (BFW) temper ature on fuel gas (FG) consumption and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in the furnaces, and to explore energy integration methods to heat the imported demineralized water (AD) stream, which is initially at 25°C.
The condensate network, both before and after electrification, was simulated using As pen HYSYS (AH), while Pinch analysis was conducted in Aspen Energy Analyzer (AEA). The effect of BFW temperature on the furnace performance was evaluated using Spyro. The analysis concluded that an additional 50tph of AD would need to be imported. The study also revealed a 1,8% increase in FG consumption, amounting to an additional 3,2 ktpy, and a 1,3% increase in CO2 emissions, equivalent to 10,5 ktpy, resulting in annual costs of €2,3 million.
In terms of heating the AD stream, several viable and cost-effective proposals were identified. These include a Pinch analysis of the Quench Oil (QO) train with excess steam in the future, which indicated the need for a new heat exchanger (PC); revamping the furnace by purchasing a new bundle; resizing the deaerator control valve; reusing boiler blowdowns with the purchase of a new heat exchanger (PC) and the most promising proposal, reusing E9101 by employing a process stream, Quench Water (QW). The latter proposal requires an invest ment of €135 000, with a net present value (NPV) of €1,3 million and a payback period (PRC) of 6,2 months.
Additionally, the optimization of the air-cooler post-electrification was studied, lead ing to a 61% reduction in CO2 emissions and savings of €525 000 per year. The QO train was optimized by changing the type of hot utility generated, eliminating the need for a kettle, and preventing energy dissipation by the reducing valves.
The combined implementation of the recommended proposals, alongside the electrifi cation project, is projected to achieve a 34% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 23% reduction in FG consumption in the SC, resulting in annual savings of €24 million. These outcomes align with the company's goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 30% by 2030
