culturais como fonte de referências na construção do ser e estar no mundoThis work analyzes the presence of mythology and the mythological
representations of the feminine in the novel O Alegre Canto da Perdiz by Mozambican
writer Paulina Chiziane. In the novel, the author uses myths of matriarchal origin as a
way of raising reflections on the condition and place that Mozambican women, and by
extension African women, occupy in societies. The myths present in the novel were
collected from the Mozambican oral tradition, so the analysis we carry out also seeks
to understand how the author seeks to keep her cultural matrix alive, preserve it and
be in permanent dialogue with it. Furthermore, in the novel, the presence of myth
both allows us to reflect on the sociocultural condition of women and also allows us to
think about the origins of Mozambique itself. Thus, we also analyze how the author
weaves relationships between mythology, the central female voices of the plot and the
history of her country. We seek to understand how the novel mirrors important
historical moments that Mozambique went through, for example slavery and
colonization and which conflicts and identity fragmentations resulted from this,
through the experiences of the central female characters, namely Delfina, Serafina,
Maria das Dores and Maria Jacinta. We believe that through female trajectories in the
novel, the author highlights the dynamics of power in patriarchal societies that insist
on subordinating women; reflects on the forms and strategies of resistance that
women develop to survive in adverse contexts; encourages women to mobilize and
take control of their trajectory and proposes looking at cultural roots as a source of
reference in the construction of being and living in the world
Innovating public procurement: impact of a market-specific retrieval-augmented generation model for Switzerland
This research paper analyzes the impact of a market-specific Retrieval Augmented Generation
(RAG) model on public procurement in Switzerland. Despite the sector's developed
transparency, it remains underutilized due to knowledge gaps and limited data accessibility.
Therefore, this study explores how a customized RAG model can enhance data accessibility,
automate processes, and strengthen analytical capabilities. Key areas of focus include
automating repetitive tasks, ensuring compliance, integrating relevant APIs, and conducting
analytics. Finally, the research outlines recommendations for developing RAG models and
their potential to drive innovation in public procurement in Switzerland
How relevant is the information contained in credit transfer microdata for the economic sector and regional salary characterisation in Portugal?
Salary information is crucial for designing and evaluating labour market policies. Traditional
data sources on salaries in Portugal usually have significant time lags, limiting decisions during
volatile periods. Since credit transfers are widely used for salary payments, daily transaction
data collected by Banco de Portugal presents a timely alternative. This study evaluates the
suitability of credit transfer transactions for analysing salary dynamics in Portugal during the
first semester of 2024. The findings demonstrate that credit transfer payments data offers up to-date and detailed insights into salary trends and regional disparities, providing a valuable
tool for monitoring and informing policy decisions

The impact of reinforcing the well-being positioning on female consumers perception of Super Bock Sky
This study explores whether reinforcing the well-being positioning of Super Bock Sky
can increase purchase intent among female consumers. Using Keller’s Brand Equity
model and qualitative interviews, the research reveals that the brand’s identity aligns with
health-conscious values but lacks strong awareness and consumer loyalty.
Recommendations focus on brand activations and clearer messaging to enhance
relevance. While results suggest positive impact, consistent long-term effort is needed to
build stronger engagement with this growing segment
Doing lean vs being lean: a critical look at cultural barriers to implementation
Implementing Lean in unstable, high-variability environments reveals a gap between technical
efficiency and organizational capability. This research explores the distinction between
adopting Lean tools and embodying Lean thinking, using the Bracchi BSK case as a lens. A
Lean plan to double packaging capacity for a client shows how tools like standardization, takt
time, and automation may undermine improvement if not supported by cultural alignment.
Sustainable change demands more than redesign: it requires trust, participation, and continuous
learning. Without addressing human factors such as motivation, recognition, and inclusion,
Lean tools alone may prove insufficient to achieve long-term transformation

Combining Artificial Intelligence design and legal frameworks to enhance risk management and trust in the digital Euro ecosystem
In an era of digital transformation, the digital euro represents a bold innovation for European
finance. This work project adopts a strategic, forward-looking approach that integrates artificial
intelligence (AI) into Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) design and risk management,
supported by robust legal frameworks. Using a global dataset of CBDC, regulatory
developments, and economical readiness indicators, the research evaluates AI-driven tools to
boost resilience and trust in the Digital Euro ecosystem. Results suggest that combining AI
capabilities with sound legal safeguards can mitigate systemic risks and enhance consumer
confidence, charting a new path for innovation in European monetary policy
