Beach profile data for the Elwha River Delta, 2021-11-19
Shoreline topography data were collected using GNSS survey methods, with a differential GPS, typically an AshTech ProMark 200 RTK-DGPS system connected to the Washington State Reference Network, operating in Real Time Kinematic (RTK) mode. Survey data are referenced in the horizontal reference frame to NAD83(2011). Elevations, in meters, are referenced to NAVD88(Geoid09) for all survey data collected before December 2012, NAVD88(Geoid12) for all survey data collected between December 2012 and May 2020, and NAVD88(Geoid18) for all survey data collected subsequently. No conversions were applied to these data to account for variations in horizontal or vertical coordinate system adjustments through time, but an error analysis suggests a standard deviation for the elevations of between 0.03 and 0.05 m across the entire sampling period (2011-2024). All survey data were collected with the GNSS system mounted on a 2.05 m rover pole, held level by a surveyor as a transect line was traced in a cross-shore orientation on the beach. The associated text files include the horizontal (HRMS) and vertical (VRMS) root-mean-square errors estimated by the GNSS system, as well as the RTK-DGPS status reported by the GNSS system at the time each point was collected. Times are referenced to local Pacific time (either PST or PDT)

Physical oceanography during ALKOR cruise AL371
Conductivity-temperature-depth profiles were measured using a CTD during RV ALKOR cruise AL371. The CTD was equipped with duplicate sensors for temperature, conductivity and oxygen. All sensors are calibrated irregularly. Data were connected to the station book of the specific cruise as available in the DSHIP database
Sporolithon sp1 structural integrity responses across the PETM
This dataset contains cell measurements (length, width and wall thickness) for an unidentified coralline alga of the genus Sporolithon, labelled Sporolithon sp1. Samples were extracted from limestone collected in 2015 and 2020 in Meghalaya, NE India (Eastern Tethys), corresponding to a time before and during the Palaeocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum, PETM (~55.8 Ma)
Hyperspectral core imaging (HSI) of sediment core LVC18_3H from Lake Victoria, Eastern Africa
X-ray fluorescence (XRF) data of sediment core LVC18_3J from Lake Victoria, Eastern Africa
Incident spectral solar irradiance measured above sea ice at station PS122/1_10-113 on 2019-12-06, survey 1, version 2.0
Incident solar irradiance was measured using an ACC (Advanced-Cosine-Collector) RAMSES hyper-spectral radiometer (TriOS) installed on the sea ice during the MOSAiC expedition between November 2019 and September 2020. All times are given in Universal Coordinated Time (UTC)
Molecular combined carbohydrate composition and concentrations in four trophic regimes of the Southwestern Pacific Ocean
Samples were collected in the surface of the Southwestern Pacific Ocean in subtropical and sub-Antarctic water masses, above the Chatham Rise and at the entrance of the Cook Strait in well mixed water masses, creating distinct oligotrophic and eutrophic regimes, respectively. Diel dynamics in concentrations of the molecular components of dissolved combined carbohydrates (D_CCHO) and total combined carbohydrates (T_CCHO) are presented
