A COMPARISON OF TERRAFORM AND ANSIBLE ON PROXMOX VE
Manually administering devices is time-consuming and inefficient. To overcome these challenges, automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform are used to manage virtualized environments. This thesis investigates how these tools can be implemented at Netcenter to automate Proxmox Environments. The aim of this thesis is to compare which of the tools, Terraform or Ansible, is most suitable for automating Netcenter’s Proxmox servers. Netcenter is managed by Mälardalen University and provides physical servers for networking students. The comparison is based on three aspects, performance, limitations, and usability. To fulfill the aim, three research questions were formulated. The first examines what one tool can accomplish that the other cannot. The second focuses on performance by analyzing execution time as well as CPU and RAM usage. The third research question evaluates the usability of each tool. The implementation consisted of three tests for each tool, representing different automation scenarios. The results showed that Terraform had the fastest execution time and offered more functionality, while Ansible demonstrated lower CPU and RAM usage. Based on the comparison, it can be concluded that Terraform is the more suitable automation tool for creating and managing virtual machines on Netcenter’s Proxmox servers

Digitala strategier för ökat engagemang i cirkulär konsumtion : En fallstudie angående ReTuna återbruksgalleria
Abstract: The transition to a circular economy requires new ways of engaging consumers in reuse and sustainable consumption. Digital solutions have the potential to support this transition by influencing motivation, engagement, and behavior. The aim of this study is to examine how three digital prototype scenarios (gamification, transparency, and convenience) are perceived by users in relation to engagement in circular consumption within the context of the ReTuna reuse mall. The study was conducted as a qualitative case study with quantitative elements. Data collection consisted of user tests with semi-structured interviews conducted on-site at ReTuna, complemented by a digital survey distributed via ReTuna´s social media channels. Respondents were asked to evaluate three designed prototypes representing different digital strategies related to reuse. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results indicate that gamification was perceived as the most motivating strategy by the majority of respondents, particularly through rewards and tangible incentives. Transparency was experienced as meaningful and value-creating, especially among respondents with an existing interest in environmental issues, while convenience was mainly associated with improved user experience rather than increased motivation to contribute. The study provides insights into how digital solutions can be designed to enhance engagement in circular consumption and offers practical implications for the development of digital services within reuse-based organizations.

Formal and dynamic equivalence : a comparative corpus study of two modern English versions of the Gospel of John
Bible translation can be based on a spectrum of approaches between formal and dynamic equivalence. This study will compare two currently popular English Bible translations, the New International Reader’s Version and the New American Standard Bible, and analyze how they reflect these translation approaches linguistically. This study employed a corpus analysis of the Gospel of John, utilizing frequency analysis, keyword analysis, KWIC analysis, and n-gram analysis. The results reveal that the New International Reader’s Version prioritizes unambiguous, contemporary, and relatively informal terms along with simpler syntax compared to the New American Standard Bible. Some of these simplifications result in a loss of meaning in theological doctrine.

On the Design and Analysis of Electrified Aero-engine Families
Rather than designing a new engine from scratch for every aircraft application, manufacturers often develop families of engines that share a common core; typically comprising the high-pressure compressor, combustor, and high-pressure turbine. This strategy reduces cost, shortens development time, and mitigates technical risk, making it an attractive option in today’s evolving aerospace landscape. Common-core variants are always associated with performance penalties compared to individually optimized clean-sheet engines because the initial core design is compromised to allow for adjustment of its component map entry points, but there is a high potential for better economics of the entire engine program. To address these challenges, this thesis introduces a simulation methodology for assessing both conventional and electrified aero-engine architectures, including turbofans, turboprops, and distributed electric propulsion systems. Based on a multi-point synthesis approach, the framework supports performance evaluation across multiple fidelity levels: from 0D thermodynamic cycle modeling, to 1D mean-line design, and up to 2D throughflow component analysis.A particular focus is placed on electrically driven propulsors, evaluated both as standalone units and within turbo-electric configurations. These include variants featuring variable geometry, such as variable pitch fans and variable area nozzles, when necessary. Building on the standalone engine modeling foundation, a novel methodology is introduced for simulating common-core engine variants within an aero-engine family. This extends the multi-point synthesis approach by treating the design point of each variant as an additional off-design condition of the baseline (first-to-enter-the-market) engine. To demonstrate its application, an electrified turboprop engine family is designed and analyzed across a range of power growth scenarios. Clean-sheet engine designs are developed in parallel to serve as benchmarks, enabling quantification of the performance penalties associated with enforcing commonality across various levels of power growth
Exploring the Dynamics of Customer Satisfaction : - the Emerging Role of Perceived Sustainability
Exploring the Dynamics of Customer Satisfaction – the Emerging Role of Perceived Sustainability, aims to advance the understanding of the dynamics of customer satisfaction by examining both its drivers and the use of customer satisfaction measures. This thesis describes the user-based quality management perspective and the emergence of customer satisfaction measures. Customer satisfaction is highlighted as a key organizational indicator, showing a positive relationship with financial indicators, and the ability to facilitate value in use. The use of both customer satisfaction, and the user-based perspective, in fields such as quality management and innovation, is also described. Sustainability is further highlighted as a concept to which the user-based perspective could be extended. Thus, potentially transforming organizational sustainability initiatives from a regulatory obligation, a license to produce, into a driver of customer satisfaction, and a source of competitive advantage. Using both qualitative and quantitative data, this thesis explores customer satisfaction models’ drivers, examined the use of customer satisfaction measurements, investigated how an extended customer satisfaction model may be established, and to what extent the model is influenced by adding a construct of perceived sustainability. Both data and structural customer satisfaction model are appended from the Nordic market research agency EPSI Rating. Estimation of customer satisfaction drivers is mainly performed by using the Partial Least Squares Path Modelling technique. The findings show how a construct of perceived sustainability may be developed and add empirical data exploring the drivers of customer satisfaction. A customer satisfaction model is further evaluated by adding the developed construct of perceived sustainability, showing favourable fit and increased predictive power in the manifest customer satisfaction items. Especially regarding items considering the customer’s view of an ideal actor. Insights about how organizations may utilize measures based on customer perceptions are also discussed. Further highlighting the importance of focusing on the recipient’s needs and wants when planning to engage in measuring customer satisfaction. For scholars, this thesis shows how a construct of perceived sustainability may be developed and add empirical data clarifying the drivers of customer satisfaction. This thesis also shows how customer satisfaction measures are being applied in practice and the importance of considering all direct and indirect interactions within the customer experience. Simply stated, the importance of considering the dynamics of customer satisfaction. For practitioners, this thesis provides insights about how organizations can enhance customer satisfaction and shows that sustainability, when analysed as a part of the customer experience, may be transformed from a strict regulatory obligation, into a source of competitive advantage. Future research is suggested to examine how the results of this thesis could be enhanced by adding a time perspective and how the results could be applied in different fields of research. For example, as tools to examine market disruptions. New ways to estimate drivers of customer satisfaction are further suggested to advance the understanding of the customer experience and to extend the findings of this thesis
