    Bu araştırmanın temel amacı dini tutum, çevreye karşı yönelim ve çevreci davranışlar arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada nicel ve nitel paradigmaların beraber kullanıldığı karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Karma yöntem modellerinden tamamlayıcılık deseni belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel kısmı tesadüfi örnekleme; nitel kısmı amaçsal örnekleme modeline göre hazırlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda nicel yöntem için dini tutum ölçeği, çevreye karşı yönelim ve çevreci davranışlar ölçeği; nitel yöntem için ise yarı-yapılandırılmış mülakat tekniği ile bulgular elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel örneklemi, %66,4’ü kadın (n=484), %33,6’sı (n=245) erkek olmak üzere toplam 729 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın nitel çalışma grubu ise %41,7’si kadın (n=5), %58,3’ü erkek (n=7) olmak üzere toplam 12 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre dini tutum ölçeği ile çevreyi emanet görme, sahip olma ve israftan kaçınma arasında pozitif yönlü istatiksel olarak anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Dini tutum boyutu ile aktif çevre arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı görülmüştür. Algılanan sosyo-ekonomik düzey ile çevreye karşı yönelim ve çevreci davranışların alt boyutları arasında anlamlı bir farklılaşma tespit edilememiştir. Cinsiyete göre çevreye karşı yönelimin emanet görme alt boyutunda kadınların erkeklere kıyasla daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Cinsiyete göre sahip olma, aktif çevre ve israftan kaçınma alt boyutları arasında anlamlı derecede farklılaşma görülmemiştir. Medeni durum ile emanet görme yönelimi arasında anlamlı bir farklılaşma olmadığı; bekârların evlilere göre dünyaya sahip olma yönelimlerinin daha fazla ve anlamlılık düzeyinde olduğu; evlilerin aktif çevre ve israftan kaçınma davranışlarının bekârlara göre daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yaş değişkeninde emanet görme hariç sahip olma, aktif çevre ve israftan kaçınma alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılaşmalar olduğu bulgulanmıştır. Çevre hassasiyeti, dindarlıkla ilişkilendirildiğinde, kitabî manada dindar olan ve dindarlık bilinciyle yaşayan kişilerin daha belirgin bir şekilde dikkat ettikleri görülmektedir. Bu kişiler, çevreyle olan etkileşimlerinde daha bilinçli ve duyarlı davranma eğilimindedirler. Ancak, halk dindarlığına sahip olan bireylerde, çevre bilincinin yüksek olmadığı gözlemlenmektedir. Bu durum, dindarlık kavramının farklı yorumları veya yaşantıları arasındaki çeşitlilikten kaynaklanabilir. Geleneksel dindarlık anlayışına sahip olan bireyler, genellikle çevre konularında daha az duyarlılık sergileyebilmektedir. Sonuç itibariyle, çevre hassasiyeti ile dindarlık arasındaki ilişki, dindarlık düzeyine ve bilincine bağlı olarak değişiklik gösterebilmektedir. Bu bağlamda, çevre bilincinin geliştirilmesinde ve yaygınlaştırılmasında dindarlıkla ilişkili farklı yaklaşımların ve yaşantıların dikkate alınması önemli görülmektedir.The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between religious attitudes, environmental orientation and environmental behaviours. In the study, mixed method was used in which quantitative and qualitative paradigms were used together. Complementarity design was determined from mixed method models. The quantitative part of the study was prepared according to random sampling and the qualitative part was prepared according to purposive sampling model. In this context, findings were obtained with the religious attitude scale, environmental orientation and environmental behaviors scale for the quantitative method and semi-structured interview technique for the qualitative method. The quantitative sample of the research consists of 729 people, 66.4% of whom are female (n=484) and 33.6% of whom are male (n=245). The qualitative study group of the research consists of 12 people, 41.7% of whom are female (n=5) and 58.3% of whom are male (n=7). According to the findings obtained in the research, statistically significant positive relationships were found between the religious attitude scale and seeing the environment as a trust, ownership and avoiding waste. There was no significant relationship between the religious attitude dimension and active environment. No significant differentiation was found between the perceived socio-economic level and the sub-dimensions of environmental orientation and environmental behaviours. According to gender, it was observed that women were higher than men in the sub-dimension of entrustment of environmental orientation. There was no significant difference between the sub-dimensions of ownership, active environment and avoidance of waste according to gender. It has been determined that there is no significant difference between marital status and entrustment orientation; singles have a higher and significant level of world ownership orientation than married people; married people have a higher level of active environment and waste avoidance behaviours than singles. It was found that there were significant differences in the sub-dimensions of having, active environment and avoiding waste, except seeing entrustment in the age variable. When environmental sensitivity is associated with religiosity, it is seen that people who are religious in the biblical sense and who live with the consciousness of religiosity pay more attention. These people tend to be more conscious and sensitive in their interactions with the environment. However, it is observed that individuals with folk religiosity do not have a high level of environmental awareness. This may be due to the diversity between different interpretations or experiences of the concept of religiosity. Individuals with a traditional understanding of religiosity are generally less sensitive to environmental issues. As a result, the relationship between environmental sensitivity and religiosity may vary depending on the level and awareness of religiosity. In this context, it is important to consider different approaches and experiences related to religiosity in the development and dissemination of environmental awareness

    A novel perspective to gamma-knife radiosurgery for solitary meningiomas: adaptability of fast imaging employing steady-state acquisition/constructive interference in steady-state magnetic resonance imaging

    AIM: To compare T1-weighted contrast-enhanced (T1+C) with fast imaging employing steady-state acquisition (FIESTA) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences to protect healthy brain tissue during meningioma treatment with Gamma-Knife radiosurgery (GKRS). MATERIAL and METHODS: After reviewing the data of 54 patients with solitary meningioma who underwent GKRS between January 2020 and June 2022, demographic characteristics were noted, tumor volumes on T1+C and FIESTA MRI sequences were measured, and sequences were compared. The patients were then divided into two groups according to the presence of invasion to intracranial venous sinuses (groups 1 and 2, respectively). SPSS 11.5 software was used for data analysis, with the level of significance set at 0.05. RESULTS: While no significant age and tumor size differences were observed between groups 1 and 2, sinus invasion was significantly higher among males. Tumor volumes measured in both groups were significantly smaller on FIESTA sequences than on T1+C sequences. CONCLUSION: The T1+C sequence has been the primary imaging method because of meningiomas’ high contrast enhancement feature. However, the T1+C sequence during GKRS planning is an effective imaging method in treating meningiomas; FIESTA sequences can more precisely delineate the tumor border. In this study, we consider that using the FIESTA/CISS sequence MRI for planning meningioma therapy with Gamma-Knife can reduce target volume and prevent irradiation of healthy brain tissue. © (2024), (Turkish Neurosurgical Society).     Laguerre collocation approach of caputo fractional fredholm-volterra integro-differential equations

    This paper discusses the linear fractional Fredholm-Volterra integro-differential equations (IDEs) considered in the Caputo sense. For this purpose, Laguerre polynomials have been used to construct an approximation method to obtain the solutions of the linear fractional Fredholm-Volterra IDEs. By this approximation method, the IDE has been transformed into a linear algebraic equation system using appropriate collocation points. In addition, a novel and exact matrix expression for the Caputo fractional derivatives of Laguerre polynomials and an associated explicit matrix formulation has been established for the first time in the literature. Furthermore, a comparison between the results of the proposed method and those of methods in the literature has been provided by implementing the method in numerous examples. © 2024, Emrah Evren KARA. Bileşikler, NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, HR-ESI-MS, EDX-SEM, DTA-TG, elemental analiz ve tek-kristal X-Ray difraksiyon kristalografisi yöntemleriyle karakterize edilmiştir. Ru(II) komplekslerinin transfer hidrojenasyon ve Pd(II) komplekslerinin C-C bağ kenetlenmesindeki katalitik aktiviteleri araştırılmıştır. Seçilen komplekslerin antikanser, antimikrobiyal, antifungal ve elektropolimerizasyon özellikleri incelenmiştir.In this study, carbene precursor N-substituted benzothiazolium salts were prepared and new Pd(II)-NSHC and Ru(II)-NSHC complexes in the literature were synthesized by reacting the precursors with metal salts. The compounds were characterized by NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, HR-ESI- MS, EDX-SEM, DTA-TG, elemental analysis and single-crystal X-Ray diffraction crystallographic methods. The catalytic activities of Ru(II) complexes in transfer hydrogenation and Pd(II) complexes in C-C bond coupling were examined.     Devlet fonksiyonlarını ertelemeden yerine getirebilmek için kamu alacaklarını vadesinde tahsil etmelidir. Mükellefin ise vergisini vadesini geçirmeden ödemesi zorunluluk arz etmektedir. Alacağın tahsilinin vadesinde yapılamaması üzerine ise devlet kamu icra hukukundaki cebren tahsil yöntemleri ile borçlu mükellefi takip edebilecektir. Öte yandan kamu alacağının tahsilinin tehlikeye düşebileceğine dair bulgular tespit edilmesi halinde vergi idaresi alacak hakkını koruyabilmek için bazı uygulamalara başvurmak durumundadır. Anayasa’da, Kanunlar’da ve diğer kaynaklarda mükelleflerin yükümlülüklerinin yanı sıra hakları da düzenlenmiştir. Mükellef hakkı, mükelleflere verilmiş olan bir hakkın ihlal edilmesi durumunda onları korumaktadır. Ancak devletin borç ödeme yükümlülüğünü zamanında yerine getirmeyen veya alacağını tehlikeye düşürebilecek mükellefler hakkında alacağı koruma ve cebren tahsil hükümleri uygulayabilmesi sonucunda mükelleflerin taşınır ve taşınmaz mal varlıklarına, alacak ve haklarına müdahale yapılabilmesi de söz konusu olacaktır. Müdahalenin yapıldığı süreçte idare tahsil yetkisini kullanırken mükelleflerin anayasal ve kanuni haklarını zedeleyebilmektedir. Dolayısıyla kamu gücünün sınırsız bir şekilde değil ölçülü bir şekilde uygulanması esas olmalıdır. Bu çalışmada kamu alacaklarının korunması ve cebren tahsilat sürecinde mükellef hakları ele alınmış ve hakların kullanımına aykırılık oluşturan durumlar yargı kararlarıyla da desteklenerek açıklanmıştır. Çalışmanın son bölümünde mükellef hakları ile ilgili alan araştırması yapılmış olup netice olarak vergi idaresinin kamu alacağını koruma ve cebren tahsil uygulamaları aşamasında mükellef haklarını göz ardı edebildiği, kamu gücünün ölçüsüz kullanılması sonucu meydana gelen mükellef haklarına aykırı uygulamaların yanı sıra Anayasal haklar ile çelişkili olan ve kanunun sistematiğine uymayan durumların ortaya çıkabildiği tespit edilmiştir.The state must collect public receivables on due date in order to fulfill its functions without delay. Taxpayers must pay their taxes on time. When the receivable cannot be collected within the due date, the state will be able to pursue the debtor through compulsory collection methods in public enforcement law. On the other hand, if it detects evidence that the collection of public receivables may be in danger, it may have to resort to some practices in order to protect its right to receivable. The Constitution, Laws and other sources regulate the rights as well as the obligations of taxpayers. The right of the taxpayer protects the taxpayers in case of violation of a right granted to them. The State will be able to apply debt protection and forced collection provisions against taxpayers who fail to fulfill their debt payment obligations on time or who may jeopardize their receivables. At this stage, intervention can be made in the movable and immovable assets, receivables and rights of taxpayers. During the intervention process, the administration may violate the constitutional and legal rights of taxpayers in the exercise of its collection power. Therefore, it should be essential that public power be exercised in a measured manner, not in an unlimited manner. In this study, taxpayer rights are discussed in the protection of public receivables and forced collection processes, and the situations that violate the use of rights are explained by supporting judicial decisions. In the last part of the study, a field research on taxpayer rights has been carried out and as a result, it has been determined that tax administration may ignore taxpayer rights in the process of protection of public receivables and forced collection practices, as well as practices contrary to taxpayer rights that occur as a result of excessive use of public power, as well as situations that are in conflict with constitutional rights and do not comply with the systematics of the law

    Diagnostic accuracy of a combination of preoperative 68-ga prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography/computed tomography and multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging in localized prostate cancer

    Introduction: Prostate cancer (PCa) is a common and leading course of cancer-related death in men. Although there are studies on multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (MpMRI) with good diagnostic results in detecting clinically significant PCa, new methods have been investigated due to the low positive predictive values. In this context, prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography (PSMA PET) emerges as an alternative imaging method to MpMRI. This study aimed to compare 68Ga PSMA I;T-PET/CT and MpMRI in determining tumor location. Methods: Preoperative MpMRI and 68Ga PSMA I;T-PET/CT scans and pathology specimens of patients who underwent radical prostatectomy for PCa at our clinic between 2018 and 2021 were retrospectively evaluated. PSMA I;T-PET/CT, MpMRI, combined imaging were compared for tumor localization according to histopathological data. Results: In terms of tumor localization, MpMRI demonstrated overall accuracy rates of 75.9% (p kappa [kappa] 0.0001* [0.525]). 68Ga PSMA I;T-PET/CT showed 71.5% (p kappa 0.0001* [0.438]). For the combined imaging approach, the overall accuracy rate was calculated as 79.2% (p kappa 0.0001* [0.576]). Additionally, high diagnostic accuracy was achieved for the combined imaging approach, particularly in the intermediate ISUP group. Moreover, SUVmax was calculated as 6.37. Conclusion: The combined use of 68Ga PSMA I;T-PET/CT and MpMRI has high diagnostic rates. However, the high cost is a significant disadvantage that limits their routine combined use

    The effect of topical application of breast milk and education on preventing diaper dermatitis in children in rural areas

    Purpose: This study aimed to ascertain the impact of topical breast milk and diaper-area care instruction on the prevention of diaper dermatitis in rural settings. Design and methods: This was a pre-test–post-test experimental study with forty-eight 6–18-month-old children and their mothers. Participants were randomly assigned to three groups: two experimental groups (Group A: breast milk, Group B: education) and one control group (Group C). Data were collected face-to-face through home-visits. A sociodemographic data and diaper-area care practices form and The Scale for Assessing the Severity of Uncomplicated Diaper Dermatitis in Infants were used for data collection. Results: There was a statistically significant difference between children who used breast milk application to prevent dermatitis compared to children whose parents received diaper-area care education and a control group (p = 0.002). Conclusions: It was determined that topical breast milk application and diaper-area care education given to mothers were effective in preventing diaper dermatitis, and the application of breast milk was found to be safe and more effective than education. Practice implications: These findings highlight the need for education, information and practical solutions to prevent and appropriately treat diaper dermatitis. © 2024 Elsevier Inc

    Nickel doped ZIF-67 catalyst for the catalytic reduction of environmental pollutant, 4-nitrophenol

    Background: Bimetallic synthesis is a promising method to improve the properties of zeolitic imidazole frameworks such as ZIF-67 for catalytic applications. The study aimed to synthesize highly efficient and stable catalyst Ni-doped ZIF-67 by bimetallic facile synthesis of ZIF-67 at room conditions and to use for the catalytic reduction reaction of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP), which is a highly toxic component for the environment, in the presence of NaBH4 as reducing agent. Methods: Different amounts of nickel were added during the synthesis of ZIF-67. The structure of catalysts was elucidated using different characterization methods (SEM, FTIR, TGA, N2 adsorption, XRD, and XPS). Significant findings: Ni0.3@ZIF-67 exhibited the highest reduction efficiency with excellent stability. The obtained results denoted that the catalytic activity was improved by the increasing amount of nickel and the required complete reduction time was determined as 2 min. The obtained rate constants values of reaction are 0.716 min−1, 1.156 min−1, and 1.945 min−1 according to the pseudo-first-order mechanism for 30°C, 40°C, and 50°C, respectively. Heterogeneous catalyst formed by doping Ni to ZIF-67 can be a promising way for the reduction of 4-NP to 4-AP. © 2024Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu, TÜBİTAK: 222M36
