publisherThe bulletin board system constructed by the Web-technology in our campus has been operated it since 2004. Because the system became obsolete, we rebuilt it as one of graduation research themes. We report on the improved system using cheap general-purpose hardware and Open Source Softwares from the system requirement to details of system constructiondepartmental bulletin pape

Investigation on the sintering of the Bizen soil 2

    Get PDF
publisherThree kinds of soils used for the bizen ware were ignited at every 100C interval of rising temperature up to 1000C in N2 atmosphere, and successively each of the soils thus treated was imposed to measurement of the surface area. It was found that the soil, Kurotsuchi, showed the largest decrease in surface area among them, corresponding to the occurrence of remarkable sintering. Choosing the Kurotsuchi as a sample suitable for inspecting the sintering effect, the present authors ignited it at four temperatures from 750 to 820c for various periods. As a result, (1)the higher the ignition temperature was, the moresteadily the decrease in surface area occurred. (2)At 750C, differently from the cases at other temperatures, the surface area increased strangely in the initial stage of the ignition, began to decrease by way of the maximum, returned to the initial value, and then decreased gradually in the same way as other cases above 780C. (3)Every declining curve of the surface area except 750C's can be fitted to the equation of the first order reaction. (4)Above 780C, the sintering process seems to be composed of the two mechanisms. The activaton energy for the first mechanism can be estimated to be 413kJ/mol. Based on this value, the sintering process in Kurotsuchi is discussed briefly.departmental bulletin pape

Empirical Study on Relation between Involvement in Extracurricular Activities and Acquisition of Sociality

    Get PDF
publisherThe purpose of this study was to consider the contemporary meaning and the effectiveness of participating in extracurricular activities in senior high schools. Consequently, the effectiveness of extracurricular activities and the relation between sociality and extracurricular activities were confirmed. In addition, the participants in extracurricular activities are more eager than the non-participants in any activity at school. The increase in the number of students who take part in extracurricular activities leads to the revitalization of the schooldepartmental bulletin pape

Effects of Alloying Elements on Impact Properties of Ultra High-Strength TRIP-Aided Bainitic Ferrite Steels

    Get PDF
publisherTo improve the toughness of ultra high-strength steels, the effects of alloying elements on impact properties of ultra highstrengthlow alloy TRIP-aided steels with bainitic ferrite matrix (TBF steels) were investigated. In this study, C-Si-Mn andC-Si-Mn-Al-Nb-Mo TBF steels were used. Upper shelf Charpy impact absorbed value of TBF steels were changed by theaustempering treatments after annealing. When aluminium, niobium and molybdenum were added to C-Si-Mn TBF steels, excellent Charpy impact absorbed values were achieved. These were caused by the existence of a large amount of stableretained austenite due to the aluminium addition. Fracture appearance transition temperature of TBF steel was lowered byaluminium, niobium and molybdenum combined addition. This was caused by refined bainitic ferrite matrix by thealuminium addition and fine grain size by the addition of niobium and molybdenum. Hydrogen embrittlement on Charpyimpact absorbed value of TBF steel was suppressed. This was because that retained austenite absorbed a lot of hydrogenand suppressed the hydrogen trapping to the grain boundariesdepartmental bulletin pape

The Second Generation Fukui Project and a New Application ofthe Asymptotic Linearity Theorem

    Get PDF
publisherThe Asymptotic Linearity Theorem (ALT), which proves the Fukui conjecture in a broader context, plays a significant role in the repeat space theory (RST) - the central unifying theory in the first and the second generation Fukui Project. The present paper provides a new application of the ALT. This application is important for a new development of the RST towards the solution of Fukui’s DNA problem. The present paper also reviews the notions of the normed repeat space Xr(q, d, p) and its super space XB(q, d, p), which are special Banach algebras fundamental in the second generation Fukui projectdepartmental bulletin pape

Preparation of CuInS2 Thin Films by Spin-coat Method

    Get PDF
publisherThis paper describes preparation of CuInS2 thin films as an absorption layer material for thin filmsolar cells. The film has been prepared by sulfurization of spin-coated Cu/In metal precursors. Cu/In ratios in the films were controlled by changing Cu/In ratios in the solution. The stoichiometric films were obtained at solution ratio of Cu/In=1.7, reputation of 8, sulfurizing temperature and time of 475C and 45 mindepartmental bulletin pape
