Current State of Meal Preparation by Regional Medical and Long-term Care Workers: -Nutritional Care Station Awareness and Activity Directions-
Get PDF1050304661218923008application/pdf【要旨】地域の医療・介護従事者における食事作りの現状を調査し, 千歳市に初めて開設した認定栄養ケア・ステーション（以下認定栄養 CS）の活動の方向性を検討することを目的とした。2024 年 3 月と 4 月の研修会に参加した医療・介護従事者 36 名を対象に，家庭や職場の食事作り，食事や栄養の相談場所，認定栄養 CS について調査した。家庭で食事を「日常的に作る」68.6%，食事作りに「困難感有」64.7%であった。困難な内容は「勤務先の介護食」（36.8%）や「自分の健康状態」「家族の病気」（22.7%）であった。食事や栄養の「相談できる場所がない」は 19.4%，認定栄養 CS を「知らない」69.4%であった。食事作りでは，職業に加え自身や家族の健康に関しても困難を感じていることが明らかとなった。認定栄養 CS が開設され, 食事や栄養に関する相談場所が明確化された。これらの支援拠点となるためには，事業内容の周知が課題である。Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the current state of meal preparation by regional medical and long-term care workers, as well as the activity directions for the first authorized nutritional care station in Chitose City (hereinafter referred to as the authorized NCS). The study involved 36 medical and long-term care workers who participated in workshops held in March and April 2024. The investigation covered meal preparation practices at home and work, meal and nutrition consultation sites, and awareness of the authorized NCS. Findings revealed that 68.6% of participants “daily prepared” meals at home, while 64.7% “faced difficulties” related to meal preparation. The challenges cited included issues with “long-term care food at the workplace” (36.8%), “personal health status,” and “family illness” (22.7%). Additionally, 19.4% of respondents reported “having no access to a consultation site” for meals and nutrition, and 69.4% indicated that they “did not know about” the authorized NCS. The results highlight that the participants encountered difficulties in meal preparation not only in their workplaces but also in managing their own health and that of their families. The establishment of the authorized NCS clarified where individuals can seek consultations regarding nutrition. However, to function effectively as a support site, efforts must focus on raising awareness of the station's business activities and services.departmental bulletin pape

Assessing the Needs for the Development of a Regional Comprehensive Care System in Nayoro City.
Get PDF1050867611172344832application/pdf【要旨】名寄市の医療介護福祉分野が抱えている問題点や課題を総合的に抽出し，高齢者が要介護状態になっても住み慣れた家で安心して暮らせるために，地域包括ケアシステムの連携不足を補えるサービスを検討することが重要である。本調査は名寄市の医療・介護・福祉に関わる職員を対象とし，医療機関，介護施設，社会福祉協議会，居宅介護支援事業所，訪問看護ステーション等に所属する 14 職種の 105 人が回答した。医療介護福祉の地域連携尺度は，地域の多職種との交流や連携の困難度が高いことを示した。地域包括ケアシステム推進に向けての課題は，要介護高齢者が在宅で暮らしていくのに必要なサービスが圧倒的に不足していることであった。名寄市立大学に実施してほしいサービスは，高齢者の話し相手，独居高齢者の見守り，地域住民が高齢者に貢献できるようなセミナーや研修会であった。今後は当大学で実行に移せるよう準備していきたいと考える。Abstract: In order to identify issues and challenges in the medical, long-term care, and welfare fields in Nayoro City with the aim of allowing elderly individuals requiring care to continue living comfortably in their familiar homes, it is essential to consider services that can address the lack of coordination in the regional comprehensive care system. This survey targeted staff involved in medical, long-term care, and welfare in Nayoro City, and 105 individuals from 14 professional roles associated with medical institutions, long-term care facilities, social welfare councils, home care support offices, and home-visit nursing stations provided responses. Assessment of regional collaboration among medical, long-term care, and welfare indicated a significant difficulty in interaction and cooperation among different professions in the community. A key challenge in promoting the regional comprehensive care system was the overwhelming shortage of services needed to support elderly individuals requiring care to live at home. Services that the respondents hoped Nayoro City University would implement included companionship for elderly individuals, monitoring of elderly people living alone, and seminars or workshops enabling local residents to contribute to the well-being of elderly individuals. Get PDF1050586136195634176application/pdf【要旨】患者会に参加するオストメイトの生活上の課題と活動意義を明らかにすることを目的として，日本オストミー協会 A 支部の会員 7 名を対象に半構造化インタビュー調査を行った。オストメイトにとって患者会は生活上の課題を解決する社会資源となっていた。患者会で活動する意義には他のオストメイトから情緒的・情報的サポートを受けられること，他のオストメイトを支援すること，生活の豊かさや安心につながることがあった。看護師には患者会を支援，患者会と協働することが求められ，患者会は専門職とオストメイトを繋ぐ場，専門職がオストメイトに学ぶ機会になる可能性が示唆された。Abstract: A semi-structured interview survey was conducted with seven members of the A branch of The Japan Ostomy Association to elucidate the challenges faced in daily life and the significance of activities of ostomates participating in patient associations. For ostomates, patient associations serve as valuable social resources to address the challenges they face daily. Moreover, the significance of participating in patient associations includes receiving emotional and informational support from other ostomates, supporting fellow ostomates, and contributing to the enhancement and reassurance of their quality of life. Nurses are expected to support and work with patient associations, which could serve as a platform to connect professionals and ostomates, providing an opportunity for professionals to learn from ostomates.departmental bulletin pape
