Introduction＜Special Theme : Anthropology of Collaborations and Processes : From Studies of Contemporaneous Art Practices＞

なプロセスのあり方から出来事としてのアートを人類学的に考察することを目
的としている。近年，アートの現場において「協働的」な実践やその「プロセ
ス」が注目を集めてきた。そこでは異なる分野やアクターと共にはたらくこと
自体に価値が見出され，完成された作品というよりもむしろ協働するプロセス
が重視される。本特集では，参加型アート，アートプロジェクト，ストリート
アート，そして人類学者とアーティストによる展覧会づくりという5 つの事例
において，1）各プロセスにおける時間性，2）主客を超えた人やモノの複雑で
複層的な関係性が切断する瞬間に着目し，比較検討を試みる。これらの議論を
通して出来事としてアートをとらえ，同時代のアート実践に共通する「驚き」
や「気づき」あるいは葛藤を人類学的に理解する。This report presents specific examination of contemporaneous “collaborative”
art practices. Our aim is to consider those art practices as events by
analyzing various processes related to arts. Some time has passed since both
“collaborative” art practices and those processes of making art have come to
be regarded as important in the context of contemporary art. Collaborations
with other disciplines and actors are also highly regarded. Furthermore, collaborative processes themselves are more respected than the final product. To
analyze those practices, one must specifically examine not only on the series
of relationships among actors beyond conventional subjectivity, but also the
point of cutting in each process. The case studies included in this edition
examine “participatory art,” “art projects,” “street art,” and exhibition-making
through the shared collaboration of an artist and an anthropologist. By
examining the various manifestations of collaborative practices and by
regarding arts as events, one can clarify anthropologically not only art-specific
enchantments and evocations, but also such conflicts.departmental bulletin pape
