A Preliminary Study on the Operation Evaluation about A Field of Study by using Adaptive Learning System
No full textIn this research, mathematics of elementary school is regarded as research field. In that field, we have tried to promote adaptive learning and carried out the operation evaluation of individualized optimization learning support system over 2 years. The first operation evaluation examined how the system was used in class. The second investigation examined what was going to be a problem in the school when that system was used.
As a result, teachers sometimes 1) positioned adaptive learning within class hours. 2) There were cases where it was positioned in the morning learning time. 3) There were cases where it was positioned as home learning. And 4) there were cases where adaptive learning was linked to collaborative learning and placed in the class. In this way, teachers, while judging from the situation of the class, set adaptive learning to classes in various ways. In addition, it became clear that there were problems in operation, such as confrontation with conventional test view, study of assessment literacy by faculty, association with curriculum evaluation, etc.departmental bulletin pape
The Relationship between SES, Attachment, and Help-seeking in Childhood
No full textThe present study investigated the relationships between SES (Socio-Economic Status), attachment, and help-seeking in childhood. A total of 162 elementary school students responded to a questionnaire survey that assessed SES, attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance, and help-seeking. The results of a path analysis showed that SES is directly associated with seeking a person to get help. Regarding indirect association, the descriptive statistics and the results of a correlational test indicated a nonlinear association. In sum, while SES is positively related to attachment in children from all but the highest socio-economic groups, among children from the highest socio-economic group, attachment anxiety and avoidance are high. Furthermore, attachment anxiety is negatively related to revealing the reason for wanting help. Those results are discussed from the parenting point of view.departmental bulletin pape
Geography and History of Totsukawa Onsen (Hotspring) in Totsukawa Village, Nara, Japan : History and Present Situation as a Hot Spring Resort
No full textHistory and present situation of Totsukawa Onsen, one of the three hot spring resorts in mountainous Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture, is examined in this paper. Totsukawa Onsen is a new hot spring resort that was established in 1963 when hot spring water was taken from the source in a steep valley to the lakeside of newly constructed Futatsuno Dam in Hiradani area where is the center of the commercial and service business function of Totsukawa Village. Managements of the accommodation facilities are specifically focused. As a result, it can be said that the development of this onsen made a great contribution to the economy of this village through tourism industries.departmental bulletin pape

No full text本研究では、奈良教育大学の学生の防災教育に関するアンケート調査と、「学生防災会議」の企画・運営によって、教員を目指す学生が防災教育の担い手になる自信をもてるような効果的な学習方法について検討した。アンケート調査の分析結果によれば、ほとんどの学生は防災教育の指導に自信がなく、大学教育でもっと学びたいと思っているが、奈良教育大学の防災科目は不十分であることを示していた。「学生防災会議」では、出席率と防災教育の担い手になる自信の自己評価には相関があり、防災教育関連科目の必修化が必要であることを示していた。また、「学生防災会議」では、教員養成大学における防災教育の効果的な学習方法を検討し、次のように提案する。すなわち、1) 防災知識のレベルに応じた学習、2) 災害時を想定できる学習、3) 異なる分野に属する学生によるグループ学習、4) 学校現場での実践的な防災教育実習、である。防災教育の担い手になる自信につながる学習を積んだ学生は、今後、学校防災を担う重要な資源となるであろう。
In the present study, we conducted a questionnaire survey concerning disaster prevention education to the student of Nara University of Education. And we conducted the planning and operation in an organization termed ‘Student Disaster Prevention Meeting’ to investigate an effective learning method that the student aiming for a teacher can be confident as a leader of disaster prevention education. According to the analysis results of a questionnaire survey, most students do not have the confidence to teach disaster prevention education, and want to learn it more in university education, however the classes of disaster prevention held at Nara University of Education are insufficient.‘Student Disaster Prevention Meeting’ suggested correlation between the percentage of attendance and own value of the confident as a leader of disasters prevention education. This suggested disaster prevention education as a compulsory subject is needed. Based on the results, the meeting examined a learning method of effective disaster prevention education for teacher’s training university. We propose following learning method for student disaster prevention education; 1) learning according to the level of disaster prevention knowledge, 2) learning that assumes disaster, 3) group learning consisting of students belonging to different disciplines, 4) practical training of disaster prevention education at school. No full text奈良市教育センターで小学生とその保護者を対象とした「理科教室」を開催している。奈良教育大学で長年実施してきたフレンドシップ事業「夢化学」の後継事業としての位置づけで、2011年度の6月に第１回を実施し、その後毎年複数回にわたって実施してきた。奈良教育大学の学生の教員になるための訓練の一環になればと考えて行っており、平成30年度は計2 回実施した。内容は、第１回が「プラスチックのふしぎを調べよう」第2回が「コイン選別機をつくろう」であった。前年度と同じ内容であるが、中身は新たな工夫を盛り込んで一新した。本学の学生と奈良市教育センターの方々の協力を得て実施した。実施内容を記録するとともに教員になるための準備としての理科教室のあり方や、今後の課題について述べる。departmental bulletin pape
Development of Teaching Material on the Metal Working Section in the Department of Technology Education: Focusing on the Working Process Considering the Properties of Metallic Materials
No full text2017年に告示された新しい学習指導要領を背景として、中学校技術・家庭科技術分野「A.材料と加工の技術」における金属加工学習に焦点を当て、金属材料の特徴と適切な加工方法について実践的・体験的に学習することの出来る製作教材の開発及び試行的実践を行った。まず、製作工程については、中学1年生で多く取り上げられている木材を活用した題材の製作工程を概ね踏襲し、「設計・構想」、「けがき」、「切断」、「部品加工」、「仕上げ」とした。その上で、金属材料の特徴及び適した加工方法を取り扱うために、「切断」において金切りばさみや糸鋸、弓鋸といった複数の工具を用いることとした。また、「部品加工」において熱処理及び塑性加工を取り入れることとして、本研究では製作教材として「シューホーン製作」の開発を試みた。大学生を対象とする試行的実践を行った結果、少ない製作工程で金属材料の特徴や加工方法を取り扱うことができており、実践対象者からは肯定的なコメントが得られた。departmental bulletin pape
