Review of the Implementation of Stunting Prevention Policy in Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency
Stunting prevention is one of the important strategic efforts in improving the quality of public health, especially in children under five years old. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of stunting prevention policies in Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency, as well as identify factors that hinder the effectiveness of the program. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews with local governments, health workers, and local communities. The results of the study show that the stunting prevention programs implemented, such as supplementary feeding (PMT), child growth monitoring, and nutrition education, have had a positive impact on increasing public awareness of the importance of child nutrition. However, there are still obstacles in the implementation of this program, including low community participation, limited health workers, and inadequate socio-economic and sanitation problems. The main inhibiting factors include low public awareness, limited health facilities, and difficult economic conditions, which limit access to nutritious food and health services. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen public education, improve training for health workers, and improve sanitation infrastructure and access to clean water to support the success of stunting prevention policies more effectively
Evaluation of the Implementation of the Special Allocation Fund Policy in Elementary School Education
This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) policy in the field of education, especially in elementary schools, which is applied to improve the quality of educational facilities and infrastructure. DAK is expected to help the government in providing better educational facilities, but its implementation still faces various obstacles. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods and documentation studies as data collection techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of DAK policies has had a positive impact on the development of elementary school infrastructure, including classroom renovation and the provision of learning tools. However, there are several obstacles faced, including delays in disbursement of funds, lack of transparency in budget management, administrative difficulties, and geographical obstacles that interfere with the smooth implementation of the program. These findings indicate the need to simplify administrative mechanisms and improve coordination between the central government, regions, and schools. In addition, supervision and accountability in the use of funds also need to be improved so that the main objectives of the DAK policy can be achieved optimally. This research is expected to provide useful recommendations for improving the implementation of DAK policies in basic education in the future
Analysis of the Implementation of Qanun Aceh No. 7 of 2014 on Employment Social Security in Lhokseumawe City
This study analyzes the implementation of Qanun Aceh No. 7 of 2014 on employment social security in Lhokseumawe City. The main focus of this study is to examine the legal rules of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, analyze the implementation of the qanun, and identify the obstacles faced in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that although the employment social security regulation has a strong legal basis, its implementation in Lhokseumawe City still faces challenges. The level of corporate compliance varies, where large companies have generally fulfilled their obligations, while the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector still has many that have not complied with the rules. Workers' awareness of the importance of social security is also still low, especially in the informal sector, which leads to a low level of BPJS Employment participation. The main obstacles in the implementation of this qanun include lack of socialization, weak supervision and sanctions for non-compliant companies, and limited human resources in supervision. To overcome this problem, strategies such as increasing education for employers and workers, stricter law enforcement, and collaboration between the government, BPJS Employment, and employer associations are needed. This study concludes that although Qanun Aceh No. 7 of 2014 has become a strong legal instrument, its implementation still needs to be strengthened so that the benefits of employment social security can be optimally felt by all workers in Lhokseumawe City

Developing a Village Financial Governance Model: A Case Study of Maitara Tengah Village, Tidore Islands City, Indonesia
This study explores the development of a village financial governance model in Indonesia, with a specific focus on Maitara Tengah Village, Tidore Islands City. It addresses four critical issues commonly encountered in village financial management: lack of transparency, weak accountability, limited community participation, and inadequate financial planning and reporting capacity. Employing a qualitative methodology, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and document analysis conducted between 2022 and 2024. The findings reveal that the effective use of village funds is constrained by limited administrative capacity, poor regulatory enforcement, and largely symbolic participatory mechanisms. To address these challenges, the research proposes a context-sensitive governance model that integrates principles of good governance, collaborative planning, and adaptive institutional design. The model aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and participatory engagement while accommodating the unique socio-cultural and geographic characteristics of remote and island communities. This study contributes to the broader discourse on village autonomy and decentralized rural development by offering a scalable and inclusive governance framework suited to the Indonesian context
Utilization of Baion Plants Pandanus Tectorius to Increase Economic Value and Competitiveness of Local MSMEs
The Baion plant (Pandanus tectorius) is known as a thriving plant and as a natural resource that has many benefits. People in various regions, including Humbang Hasundutan Regency, have used these plant parts for various purposes, such as handicraft raw materials, food, and cultural products. However, maximum utilization is still not fully realized, so further research is needed to explore this potential. This effort is expected to be a solution to increase local MSME income, reduce dependence on imported materials, and preserve local wisdom. The purpose of this research is to explore the potential of Baion plants in supporting the development of MSMEs, as well as identify factors that affect the successful implementation of the use of Baion plants. This research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches through surveys, product manufacturing experiments, and MSME training. SWOT analysis is used to evaluate market opportunities, while organoleptic tests are applied to Baion-based food products. The survey method is used to collect preliminary data from respondents, either through questionnaires or interviews, to understand market preferences and needs. On the other hand, product manufacturing experiments are carried out to evaluate variations in formulas and production methods, especially in Baion-based food products, through organoleptic tests to assess sensory quality (taste, aroma, texture, and appearance). In addition, MSME training is held to improve the ability of producers in product development and marketing. In evaluating market potential, a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis is carried out which functions to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of a business
