    The catalytic perfromance of binary oxides composed of cobalt oxide for low-temperature CO oxiation was investigated. The activity of coablt oxide was significantly improved by addition of 50 mol% iron oxide, achieving 60% and 100% CO convesrion at 50 and 120 ℃ , respectively. On the basis of structural characterizations, the presence of Co species, which are highly dispersed on the surface of CoFe2O4 particles, was suspected to be responsible for high low-temperature CO oxidation activity.departmental bulletin pape

    Lotgering factor, calculated from X-ray diffraction intensity data and sometimes used for characterization of texture of polycrystalline material, is critically analyzed.     The Bi3Fe5O12(BIG)and BiFeO3(BFO)composite films were prepared on glass substrate by metal organic decomposition (MOD)technique for the application of magnetic spatial light modulator. In order to crystalize BIG, the(BiNd)3(FeGa)5O12 (BNGIG)was inserted as buffer layer. The Faraday rotation of BIG/BNGIG/BFO composite films strongly depend on the crystallized temperatures of buffer layer(TB). The best magneto-optical performance of the composite films were realized at the temperatures TB between 620 and 630 degreeC.departmental bulletin pape
