多賀城高等学校における大学 COC 事業の取り組み（１） ―タブレット端末貸与とコーディネーター配置の経緯と概要―
Get PDF宮城教育大学は、2013 年度から文部科学省の「地（知）の拠点整備事業（大学 COC 事業）」に国内の教員養 成系大学として唯一採択され、地方自治体との協働による新しい教員養成システムを構築することを目的として、 宮城協働モデルによる次世代型教育の開発・普及に向けての取り組みを開始した。この取り組みは、地域を強く 志向し、ICT を最大限に活用しながら「学ぶ授業」を構築できる教師の養成・育成にコミットしたものであり、ICT 活用のための基盤づくりとして ICT 環境の整備等を行うこともその内容に含まれていた。こうした活動の一環とし て、2015 年には、本学から宮城県多賀城高等学校に対して、タブレット端末等を貸与するとともに、これらの機 器の管理と教材作成や授業補助者としての役割を担う COC 授業コーディネーターを配置するという試みを行う こととなった。本報では、一連の報告の端緒として、当時の多賀城高等学校教頭と COC 授業コーディネーター から書面及び口頭にて提供を受けた情報を抜粋・要約しつつ、こうした試みを行うに至った経緯とその後の具体 的な取り組みの概要を報告する。departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFMUE Mobile Telescope, an Internet Telescope remotely controlled by mobile PCs, was developed in Miyagi University of Education. Mobile PCs are wireless, and excellent in portability. Therefore, it is possible students can operate the Internet Telescope remotely from anywhere in the classroom and observe stars in class. 20 pupils experienced the observation of astronomical objects using ⑴ the Mobile Telescope, ⑵ telescopes, and ⑶ their naked eyes without any tools in the field. Mindsets for Learning English: A Comparison of Costa Rica and Japan
Get PDFIn this paper, the authors describe a quantitative study comparing the mindsets of high school students in Costa Rica and Japan. The authors aimed first to find out whether students displayed a tendency towards a growth mindset in their English studies. Then, the authors looked for clear differences between the two nations. The results indicated that students appeared to have growth mindsets in both Costa Rica and Japan for studying English. However, when the two nations were compared, it was discovered that students in Costa Rica have significantly stronger growth mindsets for English (t(123) = 6.76, p <.001, d = 1.21), as well as in sports, and in general. Get PDF今回の租税教育シラバスは、持続可能な社会を作る上で、今どんな問題が私たちの前にあるかを考え、それらの問題の解決のために果たす税の役割について考える内容を構成した。多くの学生は、持続不可能な問題として少子高齢化問題や震災復興問題、貧困や格差問題、国の財政の赤字問題などを取り上げる。討論を深めていくと、解決策として、「保育士を増やす」、「介護労働の改善」、「被災地での災害復興住宅の建設」などが指摘される。しかし、解決策を進める財源はどこにあるのかを議論すると、必然的に持続可能な社会を作るためには、みんなのお金である税金への関心が急速に高まることになった。今回の租税教育の授業は、税の必要性、納税の仕組みを考えるだけでなく、税に関する関心を持続可能な社会を作るという問題意識から構成し、｢持続可能な社会を作るための租税教育｣のモデル授業をめざした。学生の感想を聞くと効果があったと確信がもてた。departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFThe present study reported the educational approach that aiming at formation of communication activity used “sign language” to three children with deafness and multiple disabilities. Some important points were discussed;（1）we should observe to the details of the children’s body movements interacting constantly with their communication partners, specifically slight changes of their hand’s various attributes.（2）We should assume the individual's own ways of understanding their environments from perspectives of the behavioral organization and the sign transformational operation based on the facts observed（. 3）We shouldn't unilaterally use “sign language”that generally used by Deaf adults but should use “sign systems” contrived according to the individual's own ways of understanding their environments including communication partners.departmental bulletin pape
