Distortions of the reference materials cited in Atsushi Nakazawa’s author “Changes of Extracurricular Sports Activities from the Postwar to the Present”:Focusing on the Procedures of Hypothesis Setting
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to identify the problems, i.e., distortions and misunderstandings of the reference materials cited in Atsushi Nakazawa’s author titled “Changes of Extracurricular Sports Activities from the Postwar to the Present: Why are Sports Activities Connected with School Education” by focusing on it’s the procedures of hypothesis setting. To this end, I analyzed Nakazawa’s process of setting hypothetical viewpoints in this book, specifically those such as:（1）sports activities and school education have got connected after the war（; 2）“children’s autonomy” plays a role in connecting sports（games）and extracurricular sports activities with school education;（3）a paradox exists on the issue of “children’s autonomy”. The purpose of this study is to examine relation between children’s concealing their damages by bullying and normative consciousness. It was hypothesized that normative consciousness, recognition of friendship, and hesitation to consult with someone on bullying would promote concealing. By means of the questionnaire survey, elementary school students’ answers were collected and analyzed. As a result, it became clear that the more normative children are, the less they bully and the less they conceal the fact that they were bullied. How to cultivate the teachers who positively cope with the school management based on their awareness of ‘Team School’
Get PDFIn the past nineteen years, I was engaged in the school management as the vice-principal and the principal of the junior high schools which had various types of problems to solve, such as the students’ juvenile delinquencies, their parents’ strong claims, students’ inactive attitude towards their learning and so forth. Thanks to many peoples’ great help and cooperation, I could try my best to solve those problems with all the staffs of the very schools and the board of education. I am now proud of all my staffs who supported me.
Since this April, I have had great opportunities to teach to the postgraduate students in Miyagi University of Education. In this essay I would like to refer to how to cultivate the teachers who can positively cope with the school management based on the awareness of ‘Team School’, focusing on the next two points. The first one is how to stimulate the teachers’ motivation towards the school management, and the second one is how to relate my various experiences of the school management to my lectures and workshops for the graduate-students.departmental bulletin pape

A Portuguese De Vieira and the Police in St. Petersburg under Construction
Get PDFThese days some researchers have underlined the legal, national and cultural diversities in the territories of the early modern European states using the concept of “conglomerate state.” Precisely for the variety, many rulers, especially in Central Europe after the second half of the 17th century, issued a lot of ordinances in order to police living conditions, behavior patterns and mentalities of the people （Polizeiordnung）. According to M. Raeff, this ruling pattern was introduced into 18th-century Russia by the Petrine Reformation. This paper attempts to consider the historical significance of the policing orders under Peter I, mainly published by the first general police-master Anton De Vieira. He was likely from a Portuguese Jewish family and recruited into the Russian service by Peter I in 1697 or 1698.
In May, 1718, probably on the grounds of personal closeness with De Vieira rather than his educational background and the experiences in his career, the Russian Tsar appointed him to the newly established post to control the inhabitants in St. Petersburg under construction. De Vieira passed them the Petrine decrees, which show some interesting features of the city. 1. Its living circumstances were wretched because of the cattle slaughtered in the forbidden places, the excreta of the carrying horses and the animals kept loose on the roads, or the illegally dumped wastes. 2. Many beggars and vagrants wandered around and some of them were arrested and sent to the compulsory works. 3. The government imposed several duties on the citizens, i. e., construction of their houses in a prescribed manner, cleaning of the neighboring streets, nightly patrol, fire extinction, payment of the taxes to light the public spaces, and so on.
Although St. Petersburg was considered as a model city, the activities of the general police-master seem to suggest difficulties and congestion in policing the Russian society and people at that time. But for the purpose of judging more correctly the results of the ordinances of Peter I, we should compare them with the situations either in the later periods or in the different countries.departmental bulletin pape
Utilization and the prospects of a drone at an educational site
Get PDF本研究では、ドローンを「遠隔操作が可能かつ、人が搭乗していない航空機」と定義し、類似技術との比較を通してその優位性と市場規模から、教育現場におけるドローンの利活用の可能性を模索することを目的とした。
特に、利活用の可能性については、仕様として示されるドローンのスペックを、実験によりその性能をどの程度発揮できるかについて検討した。例えば、種子などの散布実験が市販のドローンで可能であるか、また可能であればどのような条件が必要となるかについて検証した。また、VR（Virtual Reality）に代表される3Dモデルの作成についても、ドローンを活用した場合の有用性について、昼夜の条件や、降雪時などの季節の変化条件によって、どの程度のレベルで3Dモデルの作成に影響されるのかについても検証した。その結果、夜に撮影した画像を用いての簡易的な3Dモデルの作成が難しいこと、一方で降雪時においての3Dモデルの作成は可能であり、利活用が望めることが確認できた。一方、上空から登下校時を観察することで「交通安全指導」などの利活用について検証を行った。静かな環境では、上空で撮影しているドローンから発せられる飛行音によって、歩行者の注意がそらされてしまう可能性があるがあることが判明したが、概ね有効な手段になりうることを示せた。departmental bulletin pape
