Proposal of “Strata maps” as a teaching material for studying strata using Google Street View, and its practice in the elementary school
Get PDF小学校理科「土地のつくりと変化」では地層の野外観察が推奨されているものの，全国的に実施率が非常に低いことから，近年ではGoogleストリートビュー?で見られる地層の画像を用いた擬似的な野外観察が提案されている．本研究では，ストリートビューで見られる地層の位置を地図上で確認でき，かつ多くの地層データに手軽にアクセスできる教材として「地層マップ」を考案した．小学校の授業実践で全国の代表的な地層をまとめた全国版地層マップを使用したところ，児童は地層に関する様々な気づきを得ており，はぎ取り標本などの実物と併用することで児童の理解を深められることが示唆された．また，地層マップを児童生徒にとってより身近な教材にするために，宮城県と福島県沿岸部の学校を想定した地域版地層マップも作成したところ，児童生徒が居住する地域を再発見しながら学習を進めることが可能で，地層学習教材として活用できる可能性を示すことができた.departmental bulletin pape
Class using the Peel Specimen ~ In the 6th grade elementary school science course “Land Formation and Change"
Get PDF本研究では，遠藤・渡辺（2024）にて報告された新しい地層学習用教材の開発を踏まえ，理論と実践の往還を試みた．さらに教材の改良や工夫を加え，はぎ取り標本を作製するなど，野外学習の代替となる教材を作製した．地層のはぎ取り標本およびモデル教材を小学校第６学年理科『土地のつくりと変化』の授業で活用し児童が土地に含まれているもの（構成物）や地層の重なり・広がりに着目して実感の伴った理解を促すことを目的とした．はぎ取り標本およびモデル教材を組み合わせて活用することで，日頃地層に触れる機会の少ない児童に地層の粒の大きさや色などに着目させながら，体感的・体験的に疑似的な観察実験を通して，課題解決に向かわせることができた．従来の視聴覚教材を中心とした地層学習に，より児童の実感を伴った理解を促すことができる教材を示すことができ，その有効性を示すことができ理論と実践の往還を達成させた．departmental bulletin pape
Research on Understanding and Supporting Uniquely Gifted Children in Elementary Schools – From Teachers’ Perceptions and Practical Examples–
Get PDF本研究では特異な才能のある児童生徒に対する支援の在り方を検討するにあたり，「特異な才能」のある児童や支援の必要性に関する教員の認識，実際の支援の経験と現状を明らかにすることを目的として，小学校教員268名を対象とした質問紙調査を実施した。その結果，87名（32.5%）から回答が得られ，支援の必要性に関する認識は進みつつある一方で，人員不足や支援ニーズの把握をはじめ，負担や課題を抱えていることが分かった。これらのことから，適切な指導・支援に繋げるためには特性や特性故の強みや弱みを含めた用語の周知と理解促進，実践事例の蓄積・検証をもとに，教育現場で実現可能な支援の検討，より充実させるための体制整備を進めていく必要があると考えられる。departmental bulletin pape
Possibilities of p4c Practice in Special Education Schools – A School-wide Attempted Approach to Students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities –
Get PDF本稿の目的は、第一・二著者が所属する県立支援学校高等学園（以下「所属校」と略記）での哲学対話「子どもの哲学（philosophy for/with children, 以下「p4c」と略記）」の実践を紹介し、生徒たちの変容を、定性定量両面から記述することである。 はじめに、所属校の概要と先行研究ならびにp4c導入の経緯を概説した。続いて、同一集団の生徒たちが入学してから卒業するまでの３年にわたり継続的に実践したp4cを、主に生徒たちの変容に焦点を当て、年度ごとに記述した。結果として、軽度の知的障がいをもつ生徒たちは、p4cの経験を積むことで、生徒間でトラブルが生じた時にも対話で解決しようとする様子が見られるまでに成長した。そのおかげで、この３年で人間関係のトラブルが大幅に減少した。 次に、こうした生徒たちの成長は、定量的エビデンスでも裏付けられないかとの問題関心から、２つの定量的データを利用した。１つは、所属校の職業評価分析表を活用し、同一集団と１名の生徒につき、第１学年６月と第３学年10月のデータを比較した。全項目で顕著な向上が見られた。もう１つは、アンケート調査を独自に実施した。アンケート調査は、「話し合い活動に対する自信」「非認知『徳』」「学級風土」尺度で構成され、所属校の生徒たちの回答スコアを分析した。その結果、「話し合い活動に対する自信」スコアの平均値が高く、ばらつきも小さく、最小値の３名も項目平均で肯定的に回答していることがわかった。また「学級風土」尺度のスコア平均値も高く、ばらつきも小さく、所属校の当初の人間関係に関する課題に改善が見られた。継続的なp4cの取組の効果を示唆する結果である。さらに、３変数の相関係数も0.50を超えるほど高く、p4cをはじめとする話し合い活動への自信が、非認知スキルや学級風土にプラスの影響を与えている可能性が示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
What Kind of Awareness is Generated by Novelization and Comparison Reading? － A Report on a Practical Japanese Language Class to Promote Awareness of Media Characteristics
Get PDF本報告では、メディア自体を理解するための方法として、ノベライズと比べ読みという二つの言語活動を取り入れた授業実践を報告した。理解対象とするメディアは、文章（小説）とマンガであった。本報告では、ノベライズと比べ読みという活動によって得られた気づきの内容を分析し、これらの活動の効果を検証した。記述内容の分析は、記述内容を類型ごとにコード化して行った。その結果、先行実践においてノベライズと比べ読みによって、メディア特性に関する気づきが生じることが示されていたが、今回の実践でも気づきが得られたことから、先行実践におけるノベライズと比べ読みの有効性を支持するかたちとなった。また本実践では、先行実践で示されたもの以外にも多くの種類の気づきが得られたことを確認できた。最も多かったのが、〈受容・機能〉の「想像・解釈の振幅」に関してであった。これは、ノベライズ後・比べ読み後、共に多くの出現数となった。In this report, we describe a classroom practice that incorporates two language activities, novelizing and comparison reading, as a way to understand the media themselves. The media to be understood are texts (novels) and manga. In this report, we analyzed the content of the findings obtained through the novelization and comparison reading activities, and verified the effectiveness of these activities. The analysis of the contents of the descriptions was conducted by coding the contents of the descriptions according to their types. The results showed that the novelization and comparison reading activities generated awareness of media characteristics, which supports the effectiveness of the novelization and comparison reading activities in the previous study. In addition to the preceding practice, we were also able to confirm that many other types of awareness were obtained in this practice. The most common was the “amplitude of imagination/interpretation” of “reception/function”. This was the most frequent occurrence both after novelization and comparison reading.departmental bulletin pape
Leo Lionni's Frederick as a Teaching Tool for Japanese: An Interpretation from the Perspective of "Translation" and Its Practice
Get PDF本稿は、レオ＝レオニ（Lio Lionni）『フレデリック Frederick』について、フレデリックが「しじん poet」として称賛されることの意義を中心にその翻訳テクストとしての解釈を提示し、実際の授業実践を踏まえ、教材としての可能性を検証することを目的とするものである。『フレデリック』は、一見「労働 work」に与していないように見えるフレデリックが、冬の到来までに「あつめ gather」たものを芸術に昇華して他ののねずみたちに提示し、「しじん poet」として称賛される物語である。「アリとキリギリス」の寓話を参照すれば、『フレデリック』においては芸術家が「労働 work」として認められ、コミュニティに包摂され、さらにはコミュニティを強化する役割を果たしたことが確認できる。教育実践では、のねずみのコミュニティにおけるフレデリックの役割について、他ののねずみとの交流の様子や「アリとキリギリス」との差異から繰り返し考えようとする児童の姿が見られた。そして「役割」について反復して話し合いが展開され、考える力がついたことを児童たちは実感していた。このような活動を可能にしたところに、『フレデリック』の教材としての価値がある。departmental bulletin pape
Mental Health Care for Students and Teachers through Collaboration with Community Healthcare – A Case study of a City Board of Education –
Get PDF心身の健康課題や生徒指導上の問題が多様化・複雑化し，不安や悩み等の心の問題や発達障害等を抱え，ケアが必要な児童生徒が増加している。また，教職員の精神疾患による休職者数も過去最多となった。このような中，学校は心理の専門家や福祉の専門家等だけでなく，医療（発達や心のケアに対応できる専門医等）と連携し，医療的視点から児童生徒や教職員の心のケアへの取組を行う必要がある。しかし，その取組を進めていくためには様々な課題がある。 本稿では，それらの課題に対処し，よりよい連携をするために，有効で効率的な好事例として，A市教育委員会の取組を報告する。教育委員会が主体となって連携のコーディネートをするシステムを構築することにより，学校や保護者が感じている医療に対する敷居を低くするだけでなく，必要な児童生徒や教職員への速やかなアセスメントにつながり，心の問題や発達障害等への正しい理解，必要な児童生徒・教職員への合理的配慮や適切な支援を可能にし，心身の健康課題や生徒指導上の諸問題等，教育現場での喫緊の課題解決につながる。departmental bulletin pape
The Democratic Public Sphere and the Learning of Art in the Classroom
Get PDF個別最適的な学びと協働的な学びの一体的な充実が求められる中、学び手の個々の興味関心や学びのペースを保障する学習形態のデザインが求められている。このような学びが行われる教室では、従来型の一斉授業とは異なる規範形成が行われていると考えられる。本稿では、協同的な学びにおける会話の規範形成を教室における民主的な公共圏の創造という点から特徴づけ、文化領域との重なりについても検討する。文化的実践への参加をより明確に政治的過程として捉えるために、民主主義と教育の関係を探究したデューイの「コミュニケーションとしての教育」に関する研究およびデューイのアートの学びに関する研究を参照する。アートの学びにおけるコミュニケーションは、民主主義の社会的、文化的な基盤として、あらゆる文化領域における協同的な学びの社会的関係の「範型」となる可能性が指摘できる。With the demand for the integrated enrichment of individualized and collaborative learning, there are calls for the design of learning forms that guarantee the individual interests of learners and the pace at which they learn. In classrooms where such learning takes place, it is supposed that a norm formation different from that of conventional classes. This paper characterizes conversational norm formation in collaborative learning in terms of the creation of a democratic public sphere in the classroom, and examines the overlap with the cultural domain. In order to see participation in the cultural practices more explicitly as a political process, we refer to Dewey's work on “education as communication," which explores the relationship between democracy and education, as well as to Dewey's work on learning of art. It can be pointed out that communication in art learning, as a social and cultural basis for democracy, could be a “model" for the social relations of collaborative learning in all subjects and domains.departmental bulletin pape
Performance of 2ν-ZICOS detector for two neutrino emission double beta decay using 96Zr nuclei
Get PDF2ν-ZICOS実験は、96Zr 原子核を用いて2つのニュートリノを放出する二重ベータ崩壊の半減期を観測する実験である。新たにデザインされた2ν-ZICOS 検出器は、720mLのETFE立方体バックを使用して70事象の96Zrの二重ベータ崩壊を観測する計画である。2ν-ZICOS 検出器のエネルギースケール、エネルギー分解能、事象発生位置の再構成、背景事象の除去に使用される平均角といった性能の評価を、いくつかの種類のガンマ線源を用いてキャリブレーションをしなければいけない。本論文では、これらのキャリブレーションについてモンテカルロシミュレーションの結果を報告する。2ν-ZICOS experiment has been planned to measure the half-life of two neutrino emission double beta decay for 96Zr nuclei. A newly designed 2ν-ZICOS detector will observe about 70 events of 96Zr double beta decay using a special ETFE cubic bag, which will contain 720ml ZICOS liquid scintillator. The performance of 2ν-ZICOS detector such as the energy scale, the energy resolution, the vertex reconstruction, and the averaged angle, which is used for the reduction of beta decay events from 208Tl, will be calibrated by using several radioactive gamma-ray sources. Effects of Strategy Instruction on Strategy Adoption, Vocabulary Acquisition, and Motivation to Use Strategies Among Japanese Junior High School Students
Get PDFThe National Curriculum Standards, announced in 2017, highlight the importance of enhancing English vocabulary proficiency among junior high school students. Prior research underscores the pivotal role of vocabulary learning strategies in strengthening English vocabulary skills. Therefore, this study aimed to develop and evaluate a classroom-based program for teaching effective English vocabulary learning strategies. An analysis of psychological scales administered before and after the intervention revealed significant increases in the uses of both elaboration and repetition strategies. Moreover, the findings demonstrated strong positive correlations between vocabulary test performance and the application of elaboration and retrieval practice strategies. Additionally, a significant association was observed between test scores and self-efficacy levels. These results confirm the program?s effectiveness in fostering vocabulary learning strategies, offering empirical support for its contribution to English vocabulary education for junior high school students.departmental bulletin pape
