A second discussion of the dissociation of logic and intuition resulting from the Axiom of Choice: Through the Banach-Tarski theorem in higher dimensions
Get PDF現代数学において，選択公理は必要不可欠な重要な公理である．しかし，これを仮定することにより，直観的には受け入れ難い数学的な事実が導かれることがある．3次元以上のEuclid空間におけるBanach-Tarskiの定理はその代表的な例である．本稿においては，3次元における議論を前提とし，4次元以上の場合に，選択公理を用いることによってHausdorffの定理が導かれることを中心に，その証明の詳細を解説する．In modern mathematics, the Axiom of Choice is an indispensable and important axiom. However, this axiom can lead to mathematical facts that are intuitively unacceptable. A typical example is the Banach-Tarski theorem in Euclidean space of three or more dimensions. In this paper, in the case of four or more dimensions, we will explain the details of the proof, focusing on the fact that the Hausdorff theorem is derived using the Axiom of Choice, assuming the argument in three dimensions.departmental bulletin pape
n Attempt to Combine Applied Theater and Scientific Understanding of Human Nature for Collaborative Learning
Get PDFコミュニケーション能力は「非認知的スキル」と言われ、どう学びどう身に付けていくのか、その方法を確立することが難しいとされている。本稿は、宮城教育大学で実施した「教員免許状更新講習」における実践を中心に、応用演劇の実技と科学的な人間理解のための講義を協働的に組み合わせた、新たな形式の「コミュニケーション教育」の実践について報告する。この新たな試みでは、人間のコミュニケーションのメカニズムを、脳科学、発達心理学、社会心理学等を踏まえた講義と教室内のグループ活動の形で学び、一方でそれと呼応するグループでの応用演劇の実践を行い、即興で互いのストーリーを演技するプレイバックシアターの手法を取り入れた実践を行った。人間科学のリテラシーと、演劇というオラリティによる協働的な学びを相補的に用いることが、コミュニケーションに関するより深い理解と実践への動機づけとなったことを、参加者の振り返りから確認することができた。Communication skills are considered as one of "non-cognitive skills" and it is difficult to establish how to learn and how to acquire them. This paper reports on the practice of a new form of "communication education" that collaboratively combines the practical skills of applied theater with lectures for scientific understanding of human nature, focusing on the practice of a "teacher's license renewal course" conducted at Miyagi University of Education. In this new approach, participants learned about the mechanism of human communication through lectures based on brain science, developmental psychology, and social psychology, and group activities in the classroom. In addition, they practiced the Playback Theater method, in which they improvised and acted out each other's stories. We confirmed that the complementary use of literacy in the human sciences and the orality of theater through collaborative learning helped participants to understand how communication works and motivate to introduce Applied Theater in their own fields of education in the participants' reflections.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF本研究では丹下保夫の民主主義思想と理論的発展について考察することを目的として研究を進めてきた。その結果、生活体育論、運動文化論、運動文化論と国民運動文化の創造という3つの理論的発展の中に、民主的な体育の構想は保存されていたと考えられた。つまり、丹下保夫の教育思想は戦後の民主的な体育を牽引してきたという教育思想として捉える可能性があると考えられた。The purpose of this study is to consider Yasuo Tange's democratic ideas and theoretical developments. As a result, it was considered that the concept of democratic physical education was preserved in the three theoretical developments of life and physical education theory, exercise culture theory, exercise culture theory and creation of national movement culture. Reorganization of the Utilization of Labor Force and Generation Transition of Agricultural Population in Tohoku Region
Get PDF本研究は、現在の東北地方の産業構造を概観したうえで、労働力の供給基盤とされてきた農家人口の就業構造を世代交代・継承の視点から分析し、農家の労働力利用のあり方がいかに再編されたのかを統計的に明らかにすることを目的とした。東北地方の農家人口は、「昭和一桁世代（1926～1935年生まれ）」、「団塊世代（1946～1955年生まれ）」、「就職氷河期世代（1971～1980年生まれ）」が一定の厚い層をなしており、兼業農家として農外利用の労働力の供給基盤を形成していた。その中で、1970年代から1990年代半ばまで、主として他産業へ労働力の供給基盤として機能したのは、「昭和一桁世代」と「団塊世代」であった。これらの世代は、1970年代から1990年代半ばまでの工業の地方分散と撤退、1990年代から本格化する企業活動のグローバル化までの「ショートリリーフ」としての役割を果たした。「就職氷河期世代」は農家人口としては再生産されずに、世代交代を担う層として検出されなかった。農家人口が円滑に再生産されるという前提は崩壊し、労働力利用のあり方は産業構造とともに再編された。東北地方の地域経済を展望する上では、農家に依拠しない労働力利用のあり方と農業構造上において土地持ち非農家の増加をどのように位置づけるかが課題となっている。This study analyzes the employment structure of the agricultural population, which has been regarded as the supply base of labor force, from the perspective of generation transition. The purpose of this study is to clarify how the utilization of labor force by farming households has been reorganized. In the Tohoku region, there are three generations of farmers: those born between 1926 and 1935, between 1946 and 1955, and between 1971 and 1980. These generations formed the base of labor supply as part-time farmers. Among them, the generation born between 1926 and 1935 and the generation born between 1946 and 1955 functioned as the base of labor supply for other industries. Not only was the farm population no longer reproducing, but the utilization of labor force in other industries was also abandoned. In the Tohoku region, the issue is how to position the increase in the number of non-farmers who own farmland in relation to the change in industrial structure.departmental bulletin pape
Difficulties and Learning Needs for Students in Teacher Training Course in Foreign Childrens Learning Support: Towards Improving Student Learning Support
Get PDF東北地方の学校には外国人児童生徒等は少数で在籍しており、日本語の指導等を主に担当する教員もほとんど配属されておらず、学校では対応に苦慮している。そこで、教員を目指す学生に対して、外国人児童生徒等を支援する学びの場を「日本語教育概論」の講義で提供した。学生は支援を通じて、日本語でのコミュニケーションや指導・支援の方法、子どもの実態把握に多くの困難を感じていた。また、これらの困難を解決するための学習を望んでいることが分かった。改善にあたっては、支援に必要な日本語、指導・支援、子どもの3 点について学ぶことができる教材を作成する。これにより、学生は各自の必要にじて教材を選択し、効率的に学べるようになることが期待できる。また、今回のような学びの場を提供し、外国人児童生徒等の困難を理解した上で学習の支援ができる教員の養成を継続していきたい。There are very few foreign children in the Tohoku area and very few teachers who teach them Japanese in Tohoku schools. For students in teacher training course who will be teachers in Tohoku, I have provided a place to learn how to support foreign children in the class, "Introduction to Japanese Language Education". With this support, students have difficulty communicating in Japanese, teaching and supporting children, observing and evaluating their learning. They also show interest in learning how to deal with these problems. Exploring the Power and the Potential of Interactive Picturebook Read-Alouds in the E.F.L. Classroom
Get PDFAs teachers, when we first begin using picturebooks in our E.F.L. (English as a Foreign Language) classroom, we usually start by matching a specific topic; like learning colours or numbers in English, or specific target language; like ‘Where is
the…?’, to an appropriate picturebook, and usually our focus is purely on developing learners’ linguistic skills. However, the next step as a picturebook user is to take into account the holistic development of our learners, (Pinter, 2017), and we should gradually move on to combine this platform of a shared picturebook read-aloud in English with other educational aims, like developing learners’ critical thinking, their creativity, or introduce topics that discreetly promote the development of certain
aspects of emotional intelligence, for example, the ability to identify feelings in yourself; self-awareness, and the ability to take other’s perspective; empathy or social-awareness, (Goleman, 1995). The concept of teachers becoming a kind of ‘picturebook sommelier,’ skillfully matching an appropriate book to learners’ needs or these wider goals has been introduced in a previous publication, Hasegawa, A., Yanase, C., Masatsugu, K., & Ito, L., (2020), so this paper aims to provide practical guidance to both teachers and trainee teachers who want to carry out such multi-purpose read-alouds in their English class.
After examining the picturebook in detail as a rich resource, and laying out the educational value of creating an interactive read-aloud, the positive ‘side-effects’ of reading and talking about picturebooks together and the natural development of
other skills, like emotional intelligence, is introduced. After presenting feedback from young learners taking part in English read-alouds with a subsidiary focus on developing emotional intelligence, and analysis of questionnaire data from university
students, it will be suggested that particular books, presented as a list in the Appendix, combined with questioning techniques, could induce a change in self-perception and even an improvement in psychological well-being in learners. It is hoped that through the information presented here, teachers will be armed with both the rationale and the resources to be effective ‘picturebook sommeliers,’ harnessing and guiding the power and the potential of picturebooks to design meaningful learning in their own classroom.この論文では小学校の外国語活動および外国語科の授業で活用されている英語の絵本を豊かな教材として詳細に分析したうえで、学習者とのやり取りをする、インタラクティブな読み聞かせの教育的価値について説明します。英語の絵本の読み聞かせは英語力と異なる、他のスキルの自然な発達を促すと考えられ、そのうち本論文では感情的知性に注目します。小学生を対象とした実践から得られたコメントや、小学校教員を志望する大学生に行ったアンケート結果を紹介するとともに、英語力と共に感情的知性を発達できるような絵本を紹介します。departmental bulletin pape
検索サイトを利用したオンライン上の協同学習 : 大学生を対象とした情報活用能力の分析
Get PDFオンライン上で目的地が異なる場所の観光プランを計画する実験を行った。一つは被験者たちにとって馴染みがあるところ，一方は馴染みがなく初めて聞くような土地であった。この実験課題の特徴は正解がないところであるが，旅行プランの満足感に関して「新しい知識を得ること」を重視する観点と，「既存の知識が変わること」を重視する観点があり，後者の観点の方が満足感が有意に高いことが示唆された。また，個人で検索する場合は自分の興味があるものを優先して限定的に調べるという確証バイアスに囚われた学習になりやすくなることが示唆されているが，このような認知的なバイアスは協同で検索することで軽減され，史跡どうしの繋がりを発見できた可能性が示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
