The Diffusion of Higher Education and Job Shortage in China
Get PDFP(論文)The purpose of this paper is to consider the dilemma between diffusion of higher education and job shortages in China. To solve this problem, the Communist Party and the Government hammered out a policy called "Yijian" that indicates university graduates should go to "Jiceng" (means the western country sides and rural poverty districts) to work or join voluntary services. Children's Difficulty in Identifying Underlying Concepts concerning Ratio Concepts
Get PDFP(論文)The purpose of this study was to examine whether children who had been instructed on the ratio concepts could properly identify concepts such as a base quantity and a compared quantity. Thirty-three sixth graders of elementary schools were administered three problems of ratio concepts, and were made to identify the correspondence between each quantity and the concept. Results indicated that the percentage of children who could correctly identify three components were 45% in the first term of proportion, 27% in the second term of proportion, and 18% in the third term of proportion, suggesting that the ability of children to compose proportion is poor. Based on the results above, it was suggested that one of the origins for the difficulty in solving ratio word problems is because children cannot correctly identify the components of the ratio concepts.departmental bulletin pape
The study on the analysis of the structure of domestic violence : the target of the violence by the females in her families
Get PDFP(論文)In the public mind it is husbands who use violence in the home, but in reality both husbands and wives use violence. In this study we attempt to identify the structure of domestic violence by analyzing data on family violence obtained in Miyazaki prefecture in 2003. We found that wives attacked by their husbands tend to attack someone else in their families. These women not only use violence toward their husbands but also use violence toward their children and elder family members (the less powerful members of the family). This finding indicates the need for a family support system which can protect the weaker family members in homes which have violence, and for intervention to reduce the stress that underlies the family violence.departmental bulletin pape
The Welfare Nature in "Meng zi"

A 46, XX, del(20)(q11.23q13.11) with normal adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity
Get PDFP(論文)46, XX, del(20)(q11.23q13.11)の1例を報告する。症例は在胎41週1日で出生した。出生体重は3, 082g、身長51.0cm、頭囲34.2cmであった。眼球陥凹、前向き鼻孔、前額部のポートワインマーク、耳介下方付着、両側軸三叉線高位、右股関節脱臼、全身の筋緊張低下などの異常がみられた。反復性感染の既往はなかった。生後7カ月のときの発達指数は約60であった。末梢血リンパ球を用いたGバンドによる染色体検査では、患児は20q11.23→q13.11の腕内欠失を有していることがわかった。20q13.11に遣伝子座があるといわれるadenosine deaminase(ADA)値は14.6IU/L(正常値6.8-18.2)であった。We present a patient with 46, XX, del(20)(q11.23q13.11). The proband, a female infant, was born after 41-weeks gestation. The birth weight was 3, 082g, length 51.0cm and head circumference 34.2cm. Physical findings included : deep-set eyes, anteverted nostrils, a portwine stain on the forehead low-set ears, bilateral high axial triradius, right hip dislocation, and general muscular hypotonia. There was no history of recurrent infection. Development quotient(DQ) at 7 months after birth was about 60. The patient's G-banded karyotype analyzed on cultured lymphocytes revealed she had an interstitial deletion of 20q (q11.23→q13.11). The level of the patient's adenosine deaminase (ADA), for which the gene locus is mapped on 20q13.11, was 14.6 IU/L (normal range : 6.8-18.2)departmental bulletin pape
The Fathers' Childcare (1)
Get PDFP(論文)The purpose of this article was to investigate how fathers were involved in childcare and how they thought about their lives with children. Participants (N=187) in this survey were fathers whose children attended nursery schools. However, most fathers reported that they were taking care of their children, mothers did the main part of actual childcare. They regard their children as the bond of the family, as well as they showed great affection for their children At the same time, they felt that economic burden occurred and freedom was lost. It was suggested that it was necessary to improve working environment to shortening of working hours in order to promote fathers' childcare.departmental bulletin pape
