High School Graduates Adapting to Work as New Recruits
○ 고졸 신입직원 중 첫 직장을 비정규직으로 시작하는 비율은 39.9%이고, 남자(48.9%)가 여자(33.6%)에 비해 높게 나타남.
○ 병역 등의 장애요인이 해결된 이후에는 남자가 비정규직에서 정규직으로 이동하는 비율은 32.2%로 여자(24.5%)보다 높음.
○ 일반계고 졸업자는 현재 직무에서의 학력 과잉이 27.3%, 기술.능력 과잉이 29.0%로 특성화고 출신(각각 18.1%, 22.7%)에 비해 높음.
○ 고졸 신입직원들이 후진학에 참여한 비율은 16.2%이며, 후진학 참여 시 직장으로부터 비용을 지원받는 경우는 6.6%, 학위취득이 임금.승진에 도움이 되는 비율은 31.3%에 그침.○ Among high school-educated new recruits, 39.9% start their first job as non-regular employees. By gender, the rate is higher for male graduates (48.9%) than female graduates (33.6%).
○ Once such obstacles as military duty are resolved, 32.2% of males move from non-regular employment to regular employment, which is higher than females with 24.5%.
○ Of the new recruits who graduated from general high schools, 27.3% were over-educated and 29.0% were over-skilled given their current job, whereas the respective figures were lower at 18.1% and 22.7% in the case of people who graduated from specialized vocational high schools.
○ 16.2% of the high school-educated recruits participated in the Employment First-University Later program, and only 6.6% received financial support from their employers for participating in the program. Meanwhile, only 31.1% experienced earning a degree contributed to a pay rise or promotion
Early Labor Market Outcomes of Korean Doctoral Degree Holders
○ 국내 박사학위 취득자의 졸업 직후 고용률은 58.0%이며 이들 중 비정규직 취업자는 62.6%임.
○ 전공별 비정규직 비율은 인문계열이 90.8%로 가장 높고 공학계열이 40.1%로 가장 낮게 나타남.
○ 정규직의 64.3%가 민간기업에 취업하였으며, 비정규직의 81.1%가 대학에 취업함.
○ 인문계열 비정규직 박사는 대부분 시간강사(86.3%)이고, 공학계열은 대부분 박사후과정 연구원(77.6%)임.
○ 정규직의 평균 연봉은 5,498만 6천 원으로 비정규직(2,642만 5천 원)보다 2,856만 1천 원이 더 많음.○ The employment rate of doctorate holders,who earned their degrees from a local Korean university, immediately after graduation is 58.0%, and 62.6% of them are irregular workers. 직업능력개발훈련기관 평가의 활용 실태와 개선 과제
The followings are the results of this study. First, accreditation of training providers was carried out in order to enhance training effectiveness and its quality, and the usage of the results was various: as criteria to make decisions for government support programs, such as application for and approval of government subsidized training courses, differentiation of training subsidy and oversight and supervision and selection of best training institutes. Also, the results were used to provide trainees with information on training providers or to enhance their training competencies. However, since the final assessment results were not broken down into a differentiated grade system, the results did not have any direct impact on providers, except for the group with the lowest grade.
전문대학의 평생직업교육 기능 개선 방안
Korean vocational colleges have contributed to the remarkable development of the economy by meeting the needs for manpower from industries. However, it does not now actively respond to the various needs from the lifelong learning society. The concept of the lifelong vocational education in this research refers to vocational learning programs and systems that could be offered for everyone in society without limitations of times and places. The reasons why vocational colleges need to promote the lifelong vocational education could be approached from three standpoints.
신생직업 개척자의 경력개발에 관한 연구
The aim of this study is to understand the career development of new occupation pioneers. 20 cases were selected and analyzed by interviewing. Interviews were proceeded from May 2 to July 7, 2013. The single-session interview process took approximately 240 minutes for each interviewee. With prior consent, each interview was recorded. The interview contents were analyzed after transcription. NVivo program was used, because of its strength for searching of interview data, coding, and generating or modifying nodes and tree structure between concepts. Among various qualitative research methods, case study was adopted for research. Case study is a research method to attempt in-depth analysis of one or more cases. The research method of grounded theory was also partly utilized for analyzing data. According to the results of this study, new occupation pioneers have the characteristics as follows.
