Get PDFThis article aims to determine the role of supervisors in implementing managerial supervision and the factors that lead to the low performance of school administrative staff at State Junior High School 5 Bantan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the subjects of this study are the supervisor, principal, and head of school administration. All data were collected through observation and interviews. The main informants are school supervisors as well as additional informants for school principals and school administration staff. Based on the description of research data, it is known that the role of school supervisors in implementing managerial supervision is quite good, but its implementation is still not maximal in providing direct guidance to administrative staff. Lack of direct coaching by school supervisors, and lack of cooperation between school supervisors and school principals, as well as a lack of professionalism in the performance of administrative staff, are the causes of the low performance of administrative personnel

Get PDFPembelajaran bahasa Arab saat ini mengalami kemajuan dari segi teknologi. Komputer merupakan alat yang digunakan dalam sains dan telah berkembang pesat di zaman sekarang, tetapi tidak banyak digunakan. Di Madrasah Aliyah Pesantren Teknologi Riau, para guru bahasa Arab telah melakukan segala upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa, antara lain: mereka mengajar bahasa Arab dengan baik, memilih metode pengajaran khusus yang efektif, menggunakan film, gambar dan komputer, serta menggunakan internet dan sebagainya. Oleh karena itu, siswa harus lebih pandai menyimak bahasa Arab, namun kenyataannya siswa masih belum bisa menyimak dalam bahasa Arab dengan baik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Eksperimen, dengan cara pengumpulan data observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima berdasarkan hasil hitung menggunakan statistik dengan nilai To = 5.36 lebih besar dari Tt pada taraf signifikansi 1% = 2.81 dan taraf signifikansi 5% = 2.07 serta berdasarkan hasil hitung menggunakan SPSS dengan Uji Mann-Whitney yaitu; p-value = 0.0125 ini lebih kecil dari α = 0.05. Dengan kata lain Penerapan Media Software Camtasia dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas XI MA Pesantren Teknologi Riau sangat efektif

Get PDFThis research discusses Abdurrahman wahid’s moderate da’wah among minority groups. This departs from their proximity to minority groups so that their presence can be accepted by then both on behalf of ethnicity, culture and religion. His preaching among minorities is indeed a problem in itself. Various accusations against him are often heard, especially from right-wing Islamic groups such as the FPI. Even openly, the great leader of the FPI Habib Rizeq considered Abdurrahman wahid to be blind and blind in heart. In addition to that among NU itself, Gus Dur was also considered a controversial cleric because he protected minority people and was too strict with his own Islamic groups. This attitude was later considered as a figure who embraced liberal Islam. This research is a research library research using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the method of da’wah used by Abdurrahman wahid departed from his understanding of al-Qur’an, Hadist and the foundation of the ulama Ahlusunnah Wal-Jama’ah, namely conveying teachings thraougg love. Da’wah as a method of inviting must reflect the values of Islamic teachings that are humanist, full of compassion for fellow humans as part of the essences of god’s teachings that are Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim. Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Program Peningkatan Keberdayaan Masyarakat Perdesaan (PPKMP) di Desa Sekodi Kecamatan Bengkalis
Get PDFKajian ini dilakukan berawal dari kondisi masyarakat Desa Sekodi Kecamatan Bengkalis yang cenderung belum menunjukkan perubahan sosial ekonomi dari pelaksanaan Program Peningkatan Keberdayaan Masyarakat Perdesaan (PPKMP) Kabupaten Bengkalis yang telah berjalan mulai tahun 2011. Penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana partisipasi masyarakat Desa Sekodi terhadap program PPKMP sebagai lembaga ekonomi mikro desa yang dapat memberikan stimulus peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Sebagai penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, maka untuk mendapatkan data penelitian tersebut penulis menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi serta wawancara terhadap beberapa informan dengan cara Snowball Sampling yang telah dilakukan selama tiga bulan dilokasi kajian. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat belum sepenuhnya terjadi seperti yang diharapkan pada Petunjuk Teknis Program PPKMP Kabupaten Bengkalis. Sebagian masyarakat Desa Sekodi cenderung pasif dan tidak memberikan pandangan atau pendapat khususnya pada tahap perencanaan dan penilaian program. Akan tetapi proses tersebut tetap dilaksanakan dengan tingkat partisipasi yang rendah, yang dalam konsep Arnstein hal tersebut dapat digolongkan kepada tidak adanya partisipasi (nonpartisipasi)

This article discusses how educational practices such as the curriculum, the quality of teachers, and the assessment give influences to students’ motivation. From the discussion, we know that, to make students motivated, the curriculum should be challenging but not either too difficult or too easy; the teachers’ quality should meet their expectation and be upgraded; and the assessment should not be focused on cognitive only

Meanwhile, exports and imports can only be carried out by large-scale entrepreneurs. Traders of locally made children's toys are classified as micro, small and medium enterprises and only get the impact of the flood of toys from China due to the ACFTA. The Pekanbaru City Government's obstacles in protecting micro, small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the trade of artificial children's toys in the city against the impact of the ACFTA agreement need special attention. This is due to the government's unpreparedness in responding to ACFTA including unpreparedness in the construction of infrastructure in the form of a market for MSMEs and guidance on how to export and import goods for MSMEs. Constraints also arise from the condition of entrepreneurs who are not open to the world of free markets. There is no unified organization between traders of locally made children's toys to build a joint venture with big entrepreneurs and become producers who are ready to compete with local Chinese products

Conversely, if human resources have low ability in utilizing material and financial resources, it cannot be denied that waste will occur in an organization. The Technical Services Unit of the Education Office in urban and rural areas in Bengkalis Regency has carried out a strategic management process based on the needs of the organization and the interests of its service users. The stages of strategic management remain the main basis in determining the programs needed. The programs are determined not only for the benefit of the Education Service Technical Service Unit, but also by taking into account environmental developments.Secara statis, organisasi merupakan wadah berhimpun sejumlah manusia yang memiliki kepentingan sama. Sementara itu secara dinamis, organisasi merupakan proses kerjasama sejumlah orang untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Dalam pemikiran ini, semua unsur organisasi hanya akan berfungsi secara efektif dan efisien apabila unsur manusia sebagai sumber daya yang melaksanakan pekerjaan mampu mendayagunakan material dan finansial secara profesional. Sebaliknya, apabila sumber daya manusia berkemampuan rendah di dalam mendayagunakan material dan finansial, maka tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa akan terjadi pemborosan dalam suatu organisasi. UPTD Pendidikan daerah kawasan perkotaan dan pedesaan di Kabupaten Bengkalis telah melakukan proses manajemen stratejik berdasarkan kebutuhan organisasi dan kepentingan pengguna jasanya. Tahapan-tahapan manajemen stratejik tetap menjadi dasar utama menentukan program yang dibutuhkan.
