    An annotated checklist of marine and freshwater fishes of the Koshiki Islands and adjacent waters, Kagoshima, southern Japan, with 353 new records

    An annotated checklist of marine and freshwater fish species of the Koshiki Islands and adjacent waters, Kagoshima, southern Japan, was compiled from voucher specimen and literature surveys. A total of 817 species (204 families) are listed, together with literature citations, specimen registration numbers, sizes and collection localities, and remarks where applicable. First specimen-supported records from the islands included 353 species. The Koshiki Islands represent the southernmost distribution of four temperate species [Gymnogobius heptacanthus (Hilgendorf, 1879), Luciogobius sp. 3 sensu Shibukawa et al. (2019) “Goma-mimizu-haze”, Clidoderma asperrimum (Temminck & Schlegel, 1846), and Eopsetta grigorjewi (Herzenstein, 1890)] and northernmost distribution of five species [Congriscus maldivensis (Norman, 1939), Solegnathus (Solegnathus) lettiensis Bleeker, 1860, Hipposcarus longiceps (Valenciennes, 1840), Labracinus ocelliferus (Fowler, 1946), and Coelorinchus fuscigulus Iwamoto, Ho & Shao, 2009.research repor

    アントン・ブルックナーは6年にわたり、ジーモン・ゼヒターに音楽理論や作曲の授業を受けた。しかし、ブルックナーは自らの授業について記録を残さなかったため、本稿は、ゼヒターの理論書『作曲の原理』とブルックナーの6人の弟子による授業記録を比較検証し、ブルックナーがゼヒターの理論に忠実に授業を行っていたことを明らかにした。  しかし、ゼヒターの理論書には、理論と実作品の関連は述べられていない。一方で、ブルックナーの弟子のうち、特にフリードリヒ・エックシュタインの授業記録「アントン・ブルックナー 音楽理論体系」には、ブルックナーが授業内で、理論と関連したハイドンやモーツァルトの作品を挙げたことが記されている。さらに、エックシュタインは他にも当時の現代音楽であるヴァーグナーの作品など多くの実例も記載し、ブルックナーの理論が単なる技術や規則ではないことを立証しようとしたと考えられる。journal articl

    An Inventory of Vascular Plants in the Elementary School Garden on Okinoerabujima Island.

    The distribution of vascular plants in the school garden on Okinoerabujima Island was clarified, and a list of vascular plants growing in school garden was compiled as basic data for use as educational materials. A survey of the flora in the 7 elementary school gardens on the Island revealed a total of 480 species of vascular plants. Of these, 211 species were native to Okinoerabujima Island, 100 were exotic, and 157 were cultivated. Thus, a large number of plants grew in the school gardens, characterized by native species. Rare plants such as endangered herbaceous plants were also identified. Based on the above results, there is a high possibility that the study site can be used for learning about the plants in the Island nature.departmental bulletin pape

    令和6年度全国学力・学習状況調査の概要(国立政策研究所)では、小・中学校国語科の共通する課題として、「事実と感想、意見との区別が明確でないなど、自分の考えを伝えるための書き表し方の工夫」や、「自分の考えるなどを記述していても、必要な情報を取り出すことや表現の効果を考えること」が挙げられている。解決する授業像として「小・中学校を通じた効果的な資質・能力の育成のため、記録、要約、説明、論述、話合い等の言語活動を工夫することが重要」とした。 そこで、本研究では、原田(2021・2022・2023)の小学校におけるノート指導の成果を基盤として、「記録」するツールである中学校におけるノート指導の研究について取り組むこととした。 具体的には、主体性の階層を「積極的(消極的)」→「主体的(客体的)」と捉え直し、ノート指導上のチェックリストを新しく作成した。これにより、従来の「ノートは黒板の丸写しをするもの」から、「主体的に自分の考えを粘り強く書き綴るもの」へと転換させた。そして、鹿児島県内の中学校の一つの学年を対象として、第2学年から第3学年に到る約2年間に渡って実践を展開した。 その結果、心情語彙の量・質の向上、学習意欲が向上、話し合い活動の充実など、学力が向上したデータが得られた。また、生徒A・B・C を視点生として、個人に視点を当てて追跡調査も行った。視点生は、個別の学習内容をノートに記し考察を繰り返した。それは、まさに、個別最適化を生徒自身が進め、メタ認知や相互共有を繰り返した姿として捉えられた。departmental bulletin pape

Although many studies suggested that anxiety and depression are deeply associated with school refusal, there is little agreement as to effective interventions. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of mindfulness yoga intervention in children with school refusal. Method: This study is a multicenter, exploratory, open cluster-randomized controlled trial. 43 participants aged 10–15 years with school refusal were randomly assigned to a non-yoga group with treatment as usual (TAU) which includes cognitive behavioral therapy based on self-monitoring, or a yoga group (4-week mindfulness yoga program provided by video sessions + TAU). The primary outcome was symptoms of anxiety evaluated by Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale-Children (SCAS-C). Participants were assessed in four time periods: a 2-week baseline (Day −14), a baseline (Day 1), a post-test after 4weeks of treatment (Day 29), and an 8-week follow-up (Day 85). Statistical analysis was conducted by a linear mixed effect model using SAS version 9.4. Results: 43 participants were included in the Full-analysis set (FAS) (21 in the mindfulness yoga group and 22 in the non-yoga group). The estimates of SCAS-C at post-test adjusted for baseline values in each treatment group were 39.9 in the mindfulness yoga group and 39.4 in the non-yoga group. The between-group difference for the estimates was 0.4 (80%CI −4.8 to −5.6, p=0.54), which indicated mindfulness yoga program has no significant effect on anxiety compared with TAU. However, on an exploratory analysis of the subscale of SCAS-C, significant improvement was observed on the Physical Injury Fears subscale. The pulse rate was significantly lower in the yoga group compared to the non-yoga group. Conclusion: This study indicated the safety of a mindfulness yoga intervention for children with school refusal, but the effectiveness of the intervention for anxiety was limited. However, the effect of HGF on macrophages is unclear. The present study aimed to elucidate the effect of HGF on the phenotypic alterations of intestinal lamina propria mononuclear cells (LPMCs). Colitis was induced in a mouse model using dextran sodium sulfate (DSS). Subsequently, LPMCs were isolated from the mice with chronic colitis and the expression levels of cytokine‑encoding genes in the LPMCs were determined. CD11b‑positive macrophages isolated from LPMCs were cultured with HGF, and alterations in the levels of M1 or M2 markers were evaluated by reverse transcription‑quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT‑qPCR) and flow cytometry. In addition, the cytokine levels were assessed using RT‑qPCR and ELISA. HGF shifted the phenotype of macrophages from M1 to M2‑like, as determined by increased mRNA expression levels of arginase‑1, CD206 and IL‑10, and reduced mRNA expression levels of CD86 and IL‑6 in mice with DSS‑induced colitis. Moreover, HGF could ameliorate DSS‑induced colitis owing to its immunosuppressive effect on immune cells.
