球形タンク内液体水素の蒸発率に及ぼすSloshing の影響
水素エネルギー利用技術推進のためには、海外の豊富な風力エネルギーによる水電解液体水素のタンカー輸送時の蒸発率低減が重要である。本研究ではアクリル製球形タンクの水平揺動スロッシング実験を行い、容器の揺動に伴う液面運動をカメラで撮影し、液面振幅の周波数応答特性を調べた。球形タンク内の液面振幅を第1次モードのみの線形解析で推定した。また、球形タンクのスロッシング現象に加えて、液面と壁面との強制対流伝熱による相変化が連成した場合の蒸発量を概算した。スロッシングで球形タンク内液体が激しく振動すると蒸発量が大きくなる。本校に導入される再生可能エネルギー発電設備を利用した技術開発の重要性についても論じた
Structures around aupermassive black holes and their evolution: feedback and feeding
2011-2013年度科学研究費助成事業(基盤研究(C))研究成果報告書 課題番号:23540267 研究代表者:和田桂一(鹿児島大学・理工学研究科・教授)銀河中心の巨大ブラックホール近傍10パーセクから降着円盤領域にかけての空間スケールで6桁にわたる領域の構造を解明すべく理論的研究を行った。高精度の3次元輻射流体計算等により、降着円盤からの強い輻射による加熱と輻射圧によって、星間ガスのアウトフローが発生することを明らかにした。このアウトフローは、巨大ブラックホールの活動性の起源である「質量降着」(ガスの内向きの流れ)を妨げない。アウトフローは非定常かつ非一様であり、その進化の結果、「遮蔽トーラス」が自然に形成されることを示した。降着円盤の領域では輝線で駆動された高速のアウトフローが形成され、幅広い吸収線を持つクェーサーの種族の起源に迫った。We have theoretically investigated structures and dynamics of the ISM around super massive black holes in galaxies. Using three-dimensional radiation-hydrodynamics simulations, we confirmed that non-steady and non-uniform outflows are generated due to the radiation pressure and heating. This outflow does not prevent from accreting materials toward the galactic center. We also found that a part of failed outflows naturally form an obscuring torus, which has been postulated to explain observed properties of AGNs. The radiation-driven outflows are ubiquitous over a large dynamic range, for example, we found that strong line-driven winds are formed from the accretion disk, and this consistently explains broad-absorption line quasars
An Overview of Research Orientation in Pattimura University
Along with Tri-Linkage of Higher Education, the role of Pattimura University is to prepare human resources that have the capability and readiness in accordance with the demands of development and to develop institutional partnerships, integrated research, and community services. The role of Research Institute of Pattimura University is to develop the culture of research in the University and to encourage the utilization of the results to support the mission of higher education and national development in a sustainable manner. Therefore, the research activities aim to result not only in the form of research reports, but also in the form of national and international scientific publications, educational materials, patents, and intellectual property right. The key challenge is the research results which bring significant benefits to the community and have to be able to answer the needs of government and private/industrial sectors. Future research orientations of Pattimura University's Research Institution are as follows: (1) marine science, (2) natural-based medicine, (3) small island community health and medicine, (4) climate change adaptation for small islands, (5) local wisdom and small island resource management, and (6) biodiversity and conservation in small islands

Maluku is an archipelago province that comprises 92.4% (658.294.69 km2) of ocean and only 7.5% (54.185 km2) of land. The unique geographical position of Maluku gives some oceanography advantage that reflected in the richness of marine natural resources, especially in fisheries. The potential of fisheries in Maluku is estimated 1.6 ton/year. Furthermore, the 1340 islands in Maluku that their shoreline represents 13% of Indonesian shoreline harbor main marine ecosystems such as coral reef, mangrove, and sea grass that significantly support the sustainability of fisheries in Maluku. Coral reefs in Maluku cover an area of 1.323,44 km2 and estimated to have economic value that reach billions of dollars per year, with services including storm protection, tourism, pharmaceutical and an important source of food. However, so far only several commodities such as fish and sea cucumber have been furiously exploited, that leads to overfishing, whereas other invertebrates such as great potential for pharmaceuticals such as sponges and soft coral have been left untouched. Furthermore, the marine resources in Maluku have been exploited disregard of their sustainability. Therefore, comprehensive, integrated and interdisciplinary research involving all stake holders is necessary to build a robust database and development plan that can ensure the sustainability of marine resources in Maluku.Ambon Island is a hilly island with limited flat areas that are suitable for medium to large orchards of fruit trees. Fruit cultivations are usually conducted in a mixed agriculture-agroforestry system, called ‘dusun’ that is more suitable with such geographic conditions. Fruit trees are among the most important plants grown in the ‘dusun’ system in Leitimur, in addition to multipurpose trees, perennial and annual food crops, as well as other horticultural, spice, and medicinal plants. Many local fruit species can be found in the ‘dusun’, among others that are most popular in Ambon: durian (Durio zibethinus), gandaria (Boueo mocrophyllo), mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana), snake fruit (“salak”, Salacca zalacca), “langsat” (Lansium domesticum), jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus), and litchi (Litchi chinensis). These fruits are described in details in this presentation, and their prospects and problems of cultivation are discussed
Plants of Akusekijima
悪石島は、周囲12.64km、面積7.49km²、最高標高の御岳は584mである。標高400m位から上の
高い所にはオニクラマゴケ、アラゲサクラツツジ、ハクサンボク、ヤブツバキ、ヘツカリンドウ、サ
ツマイナモリ、フユイチゴ、タマザキヤマビワソウなどが見られる。
2回の調査で、89科233種の植物(シダ植物9科25種、裸子植物3科3種、双子葉植物65科159種、
単子葉植物12科46種)を観察できた。
分布上特記すべき植物として、ソメモノカズラ、タマザキヤマビワソウ、サツマイナモリ、オキナ
ワクルマバナ、オイランアザミ、アダン、クロツグがある。

ズテキ ヒョウゲン ト ソウサテキ ヒョウゲン ノ キヤクセイ ニ カンスル ケンキュウ
本稿は,不明確な代数的推論をより明確にし,それを促進するための示唆を得ることを目的とした。その際,代数的推論をダイアグラム的推論(diagrammatic reasoning)の観点から,特に図的表現と操作的表現の規約性について検討した。その結果,次の諸点を明らかにした。(1) 代数的推論の暫定的な規定を次のように修正した:規約性を有する表現における数や演算の性質や関係などの関係性を見いだし,それを演繹的に説明すること。(2) 規約性には構成規則と操作規則があるが,数の関係や演算にかかわる構成規則には操作規則が内在している。(3) したがって,図的表現や操作的表現に基づくものであっても,それらが数の関係や演算にかかわる構成規則を有していれば代数的推論となる。(4) 代数的推論を促進するための示唆として,表現の規約性を明確にすることなどが必要となること,漸進的なダイアグラム化(progressive diagrammatization)の過程を経るようにすること,ダイアグラム(diagram)を単に抽象的概念を説明するものとみなさないようにすることが挙げられる
Special Needs Education in Slovenia
The Republic of Slovenia has been developing an education system which is adopted more to European
standards. Special needs education system in Slovenia is also developing since 2000. In 2011, the
Placement of Children with Special Needs Act has been released and it promises to provide continuum
professional support for children with special needs. This is a part of inclusive education the same as international
trends.
The country of Slovenia is getting to be known by Japanese people but it is usually through industries
and tourism, but it is not well-known about special education. Interestingly, the support system in Slovenia
has some similarities to Japan and they have originalities, such as Five Step Support Model. This
model is quite similar to Response to Intervention in the U.S. but it is more layers. It means they assume
smaller steps and it enables them to do practice in detail. Thus special needs education in Japan would
obtain many suggestions from this country. This paper will overview the situation and system of special
needs support which follow the basic education system. Furthermore, some discussions are made by the
Slovene special needs education and it suggests the future of special needs education direction in Japan

Implicit attitude for sports by affective misattribution procedure
本研究の目的は,スポーツにおける潜在的態度を感情誤帰属手続き(Payne et al,, 2005)によって測定することであった.研究の方法は,大学生(女子)46 名を対象とした実験法であった.被験者の内訳は,小学校から大学まで学外スポーツクラブや運動部活動を一度も辞めずに継続してきた体育専攻学生24 名と小学校から大学まで一度も体育授業以外でスポーツをした経験がない学生22 名であった.実験には感情誤帰属手続きの実験プログラムが組み込まれているパソコンが使用された.実験プログラムには,スポーツの画像と日常生活の画像がプライム画像として組み込まれていた.感情誤帰属手続きによる潜在的態度の測定では,プライム画像に対する感情が曖昧図形に誤帰属されるため,プライム画像ではなく,曖昧図形へのポジティブ反応率で評価された.結果は,スポーツの画像へのポジティブ反応率は経験者が未経験者よりも高かったが,日常生活へのポジティブ反応率はスポーツ経験で有意な差は示されなかった
