Projeto de desenvolvimento de Gestão e Organização de Eventos no Delfim Douro Hotel
No full textO Delfim Douro Hotel, situado numa região de beleza natural única, oferece uma localização privilegiada para eventos sociais e corporativos. Este projeto visa desenvolver uma estrutura eficiente e inovadora para a gestão e organização de eventos, alinhando-se aos padrões de excelência do hotel e às expectativas. Ao longo deste trabalho, inicialmente irei fazer um breve enquadramento da região do Douro, a primeira região demarcada do mundo na produção de vinhos de excelência, um breve resumo do turismo nesta região, assim como irei fazer uma breve apresentação da cidade onde está localizado o hotel - Lamego. No segundo capítulo irei fazer uma descrição detalhada do Delfim Douro Hotel, dos diferentes serviços que oferece ao cliente assim como as características do hotel, desde a composição dos quartos, do restaurante, da cozinha, do Bar e mais concretamente do salão
de eventos, projeto recentemente criado e o qual será o foco na realização deste trabalho. No terceiro capítulo, irei abordar os diferentes tipos e tipologias de eventos. No quarto capítulo irei abordar as diferentes fases de Planeamento, Organização e Gestão de Eventos onde irei apresentar as cinco questões que compõem a organização de um evento, a importância de
definição das metas e objetivos do mesmo, a importância da definição de um orçamento detalhado assim a chave para o sucesso de quem realiza eventos: a comunicação. Por fim, o último capítulo será dedicado ao estudo da implementação dos eventos no Delfim Douro Hotel. Neste, será explanada a construção e layout do Chalé de Eventos, a definição e caracterização dos principais eventos realizados: Casamentos e Batizado, Feira de Vinhos, Reuniões Empresariais, Congressos, entre outros. De seguida, será dada especial atenção à organização de um casamento, onde se apresentarão todas as etapas a seguir, quer na organização, quer no planeamento, assim com os custos e orçamentos que lhe estão inerentes. Temas como a gestão dos recursos humanos, a gestão financeira e a logística serão igualmente abordados ao longo deste documento assim como a promoção e
comunicação para com os clientes e potenciais clientes, não esquecendo a importância dos relatórios finais e de avaliação.The Delfim Douro Hotel, located in a region of unique natural beauty, offers a privileged location for social and corporate events. standards of excellence and expectations. In this work, I will initially provide a brief overview of the Douro region, the first demarcated region in the world for the production of excellent wines, a brief summary of
tourism in this region, as well as a brief presentation of the city where the hotel is located - Lamego.
In the second chapter, I will provide a detailed description of the Delfim Douro Hotel, the different services it offers to the guest, as well as the characteristics of the hotel, from the layout of the rooms, the restaurant, the kitchen, the bar and more specifically the event hall, a recently created project that will be the focus of this work. In the third chapter, I will address the different types and typologies of events. In the
fourth chapter, I will address the different stages of Planning, Organizing and Managing Events, where I will present the five issues that make up the organization of an event, the importance of defining the goals and objectives of the event, the importance of defining a detailed budget and the key to the success of those who organize events: communication.
Finally, the last chapter will be dedicated to the study of the implementation of events at the Delfim Douro Hotel. In this, the construction and layout of O Chalé de Eventos will be explained, as well as the definition and characterization of the main events held: Weddings
and Christenings, Wine Fair, Business Meetings, Congresses, among others. Next, the focus will be on the organization of a specific event, in this case a wedding, where all the steps to be followed in the organization and planning of the event will be presented, as well as the
costs and budgets for holding it. Topics such as the management of human, financial and logistic resources will also be addressed throughout this work, as well as the promotion and communication with clients and potential clients, the importance of final reports and evaluation
Efeitos agudos da inclusão de exercícios isométricos na função neuromuscular, bem-estar e fadiga muscular durante o período de recuperação pós-jogo em jogadores de futebol: um estudo exploratório
No full textA inclusão de exercícios isométricos pode ser um modo de treino de força alternativo e viável no período de recuperação pós-jogo, mas é escassa a informação existente. Este estudo pretende analisar os efeitos agudos da inclusão de exercícios isométricos na função neuromuscular, no bem-estar e na mialgia durante o período de recuperação pós-jogo em jogadores de futebol semiprofissionais. Treze jogadores de uma equipa da Liga 3 (época 2023/24) foram analisados durante 2 jogos. Os critérios de inclusão previam a sua utilização em jogo durante, pelo menos, 45 minutos, resultando num total de 21 observações. Foi avaliado o bem-estar e a mialgia percecionada antes da sessão de treino J-1, no dia do jogo (J), e na sessão J+2, e a perceção subjetiva de esforço. O salto com contramovimento foi realizado no dia J-1 e J+2. Os jogadores foram aleatoriamente divididos pelo grupo de controlo (GC; n=10) e pelo grupo isométrico (GIso; n=11). O GC realizou um circuito de mobilidade seguido de corrida aeróbia de baixa intensidade, enquanto o GIso foi sujeito a um protocolo de 5 exercícios isométricos com recurso ao peso do próprio corpo: i) Lateral Wall Iso Push; ii) Copenhagen Plank; iii) Wall Hip Iso Hold; iv) Split Squat Iso Hold; v) Wall Ankle Iso Hold (3 x 30 segundos / 60 segundos). Os resultados mostram que o bem-estar foi maior no dia J, o que indica um estado ótimo dos jogadores para a competição, mas também uma maior carga devido à intensidade e às ações do jogo. As dores musculares observaram-se maioritariamente no dia J+2. Após a introdução dos exercícios isométricos no período de recuperação (J+2), os resultados mantiveram-se semelhantes entre o GC e o GIso. Foi observada uma correlação grande entre a PSEsessão e a altura do salto CMJ (r = 0.574; p = 0.083), e uma correlação moderada entre a carga de treino interna e a altura do salto CMJ (r = 0.394; p = 0.260) para o GC. Já para o GIso, as correlações variaram entre o trivial e pequena. A utilização de exercícios isométricos como um meio de gestão de cargas ao longo do microciclo pode ser uma estratégia a explorar por parte de treinadores e preparadores físicos, considerando os potenciais benefícios deste tipo de treino
Humic acid aggregates with laccase and decreases the performance of the enzyme catalytic systems through various mechanisms
No full textArticle number - 146405Laccases are among the best-rated enzymes for industrial and environmental applications, yet their use in bioremediation is limited by interference from environmental components like humic acid (HA). This study evaluated HA impact on the oxidation of 2,2 ′-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonate (ABTS) and two model pollutants — anthracene and methyl orange — by laccase( mediator) systems. HA consistently diminished conversion rates, with EC50 values between 5 and 51 mg/L suggesting diverse inhibitory mechanisms. We investigated potential mechanisms including substrate sequestration, radical quenching, and chelation of laccase coppers by HA. Incubations with free and immobilized HA showed that adsorption can impede anthracene degradation, at least at high concentrations, but not methyl orange. Using chemically generated ABTS radical and azide-blocked enzyme, it was demonstrated that HA scavenges free radicals produced by laccase, though this alone did not fully explain the observed interference with catalysis. Further assays with metal chelator and added copper or calcium ruled out HA binding to the laccase metal centers. Instead, data from molecular docking, f luorescence, light scattering, and microscopy revealed that HA forms micrometer-scale aggregates with laccase that encapsulate the enzyme. Refletindo sobre o percurso em Educação de Infância e 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e investigando as perspetivas de diferentes intervenientes sobre o brincar
No full textO presente relatório surgiu no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, do Instituto Politécnico de Leiria. Este relatório contempla o meu percurso durante os anos letivos 2021/2022 e 2022/2023 e está dividido em duas partes distintas.
Na Parte I – Dimensão Reflexiva – estão espelhadas as minhas experiências em Creche, em Jardim de Infância e em 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, estando, por isso, dividida em três capítulos, um por cada contexto. Neles é possível perceber como decorreram estas experiências, através de reflexões, nas quais apresento algumas aprendizagens e dificuldades sentidas ao longo do percurso.
Na Parte II – Dimensão Investigativa – está presente o estudo, assente numa metodologia qualitativa, no qual participaram as crianças do grupo, os seus pais, a educadora titular do grupo e uma investigadora. Os dados foram recolhidos através de inquérito por entrevista e por questionário e da análise documental de documentos orientadores. A análise destes dados foi realizada através de análise de conteúdo, que mostrou que todos os intervenientes consideravam que o brincar era importante para o desenvolvimento e aprendizagem das crianças e que este revelava possuir potencialidades no que concerne ao processo de desenvolvimento das crianças, em todos os domínios
INTERVENÇÃO BREVE PARA CONSUMOS NOCIVOS DE BEBIDAS ALCOOLICAS
No full textO presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica, na Escola Superior de Saúde do Instituto Politécnico de Leiria e tem como objetivo descrever as atividades desenvolvidas durante os ensinos clínicos realizados, refletir sobre as aprendizagens e experiências adquiridas ao longo deste período, assim como, apresentar e descrever o projeto de melhoria contínua da qualidade desenvolvido.
Para o efeito realizámos uma breve contextualização dos contextos onde decorreram os ensinos clínicos, à luz do referencial para a acreditação dos contextos da prática clínica, seguida de uma análise fundamentada e crítico-reflexiva das competências desenvolvidas em ensino clínico tendo como referência os regulamentos n.º 515/2018 de 7 agosto, 140/2019 de 6 de fevereiro e 356/2015 de 25 de junho.
Apresentámos ainda um projeto de melhoria contínua da qualidade que consiste na conceptualização e implementação de um programa de Intervenção Breve, numa instituição militar, com o objetivo de promover a diminuição ou cessação de consumos excessivos de bebidas alcoólicas e, consequentemente, de custos e recursos mobilizados para o tratamento das complicações associadas. Trata-se de um estudo de caso múltiplo, composto por 4 sessões presenciais onde foi efetuada uma análise que descreveu e comparou os resultados antes e depois das intervenções. Os resultados obtidos não são extrapoláveis, mas evidenciaram o seu potencial de manutenção e replicabilidade no futuro, em outras unidades militares

No full textEste trabalho escrito reflete com mais clareza, ou precisão, ideias que fui desenvolvendo sobre a
minha prática artística e de trabalho, e que estão patentes nos cadernos de artista que criei. Escolhi reunir
um conjunto de trabalhos artísticos, em especial séries fotográficas que foram realizados entre 2014 e
2023. Também incluo desenhos e escrita no trabalho final de apresentação. O trabalho no geral tem uma
componente vincada de improvisação. Posteriormente, resulta em elementos com caraterísticas não só
poéticas, como em elementos mais “terra-a-terra".
Da relação entre arte-e-vida foram nascendo objetos, ações e práticas que são repensadas e
‘autorizadas’ pela aproximação aos textos e prática de Allan Kaprow. A parte teórica tem sido um forte
auxílio para a construção e organização do trabalho. É quando o texto me “processa”. O trabalho de
organização de imagens e de apontamentos resulta na composição apresentada em três cadernos
separados: o caderno Vermelho ou a Floresta, o caderno Azul ou a Associação e o caderno Amarelo ou a Escolinha
Optimizing Growth Conditions and Biochemical Properties of Chondracanthus acicularis (Rhodophyta) in Laboratory Settings

The results provide insights into the optimal growth conditions and biochemical com position of C. acicularis, which are crucial for its sustainable exploitation in industrial
applications. Significant differences in the relative growth rate (RGR) and productivity (Y)
were found between the different treatments. Seaweed grown on Provasoli (PES) Medium
with white LED light and red LED light showed the best growth rates. Negative growth
was observed in treatments with Nutribloom plus®, and blue LED light. The proximate
composition analysis revealed a high moisture content across all treatments, with significant
differences in ash and organic matter content between the treatments. The use of LED light
played a crucial role in optimizing growth by influencing photosynthetic efficiency and
pigment production. The proximate composition varied significantly between treatments,
especially ash and organic matter. Light and nutrient conditions also influenced pigmenta tion and colour characteristics, with significant changes in phycoerythrin, phycocyanin,
and chlorophyll concentration. PES treatments consistently showed the highest colour
variation. These findings highlight the influence of environmental conditions on seaweed
growth, productivity, pigmentation, and proximate composition, and provide valuable

Análise de dados na compreensão do comportamento de compra online: Caso de estudo na La Redoute Portugal
No full textNo ambiente competitivo atual, a análise de dados é fundamental para as empresas,
pois permite compreender os comportamentos de compra dos consumidores e, assim, tomar
decisões estratégicas que impulsionam o crescimento e a eficiência dos negócios. Ao coletar
e examinar informações sobre preferências e tendências, as organizações conseguem
identificar padrões que otimizam suas estratégias de marketing e vendas. Isso permite que
as marcas personalizem as suas ofertas e melhorem a experiência do cliente, proporcionando
insights valiosos sobre o que motiva as decisões de compra.
Além disso, a sazonalidade desempenha um papel importante nessa análise, uma vez
que os comportamentos de compra variam ao longo do ano, influenciados por datas
comemorativas e eventos especiais. Compreender essas flutuações permite às empresas
antecipem a procura, ajustem stocks e implementem campanhas de marketing eficazes.
O principal objetivo deste estudo é analisar se a integração de dados internos e externos
permitem identificar padrões sazonais de consumo em produtos para casa no mercado de e commerce. Para isso, é fundamental reconhecer esses padrões no comportamento dos
consumidores, analisando a relação entre os dados recolhidos e verificando a existência de
correlação, através da aplicação da correlação de Pearson. Dessa forma, torna-se essencial a
criação de um mapa de sazonalidade, que facilite a interpretação dos dados recolhidos e
possibilite uma análise mais eficaz de toda a informação processada.
Os resultados deste estudo confirmaram que a integração de dados internos e externos
é essencial para identificar padrões sazonais de consumo em produtos para a categoria “casa”
no mercado online, evidenciando uma correlação entre os dados analisados. Além disso, foi
possível observar que diferentes produtos apresentam sazonalidades distintas, exigindo
estratégias ajustadas. No entanto, é importante considerar que fatores como ações
comerciais, nomeadamente promoções e alterações económicas podem influenciar
significativamente esses padrões sazonais.In today's competitive environment, data analytics is critical for businesses to
understand consumer buying patterns and make strategic decisions that drive growth and

By collecting and studying information about preferences and trends, companies can identify
patterns that optimize their marketing and sales strategies. This allows brands to personalize
their offerings and improve the customer experience, providing valuable insights into what
drives purchase decisions.
Seasonality also plays an important role in this analysis, as buying patterns fluctuate
throughout the year, influenced by holidays and special events. Understanding these
variations enables companies to anticipate demand, adjust inventory levels and implement
effective marketing campaigns.
The main objective of this study is to analyse whether the integration of internal and
external data allows the identification of seasonal consumption patterns of household
products in the e-commerce market. To achieve this, it is essential to identify these patterns
in consumer behavior by analyzing the relationship between the data collected and verifying
the existence of a correlation using Pearson's correlation analysis. The creation of a
seasonality map is therefore crucial, as it facilitates the interpretation of the data collected
and allows a more effective analysis of all the information processed.
The results of this study confirmed that the integration of internal and external data is
essential to identify seasonal consumption patterns of household products in the online
market, highlighting a correlation between the data analyzed. Different products exhibit
distinct seasonal trends, requiring tailored strategies. However, it is important to bear in mind
that factors such as commercial actions, in particular promotions, and economic changes can

The Arabic Version of the Patient Health Questionnaire‐2 (PHQ‐2): Psychometric Evaluation Among Mothers of Children With Intellectual Disabilities
No full textArticle number - 9934710Aim: Mothers of children with intellectual disabilities are particularly vulnerable to mental distress due to demanding and exhausting caregiving. However, in the Arab world, they are seldom screened for depression because of limited diagnostic resources. Addressing the urgent need for brief and reliable screening tools, this study evaluated the psychometric properties of the Arabic version of the Patient Health Questionnaire-2 (PHQ-2) among 85 Saudi mothers. Design: A cross-sectional study. Methods: The construct, convergent, and divergent validity of the PHQ-2 was examined through a latent variable model (LVM), while its cutoff score was examined through receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Results: The unidimensional PHQ-2 (item loadings > 0.7) was positively predicted by stress and negatively predicted by high mood and happiness, supporting its convergent and divergent validity. The PHQ-2 effectively predicted low mood, poor sleep quality, nightmares, high stress, low general physical health, and willingness to join a psychological support program (area under the curve [AUC] range = 0.72–0.84, p values < 0.001). The best balance between sensitivity and specificity was achieved at the PHQ-2 threshold ≥ 2.5, while the cutoff ≥ 3.5 demonstrated a higher positive predictive value (PPV) for all outcomes (range = 30.0–78.8 vs. 23.0–70.8). Conclusions: The PHQ-2 is a brief, valid tool, which at cutoffs ≥ 2.5 and ≥ 3.5 can reliably detect clinically significant depression and related psychological and physical adverse effects. Mothers scoring ≥ 3.5 may require a clinician-based examination for depression, and they may benefit from specific mental health literacy interventions. However, the results should be interpreted with caution given convenience sampling, a small sample size, and elevated distress levels in the current population. These limitations highlight the need to replicate the study with larger, randomly selected samples from more diverse populations. Implications for Practice: Nurses can efficiently screen for depression and its mental/physical sequelae, as well as monitor response to treatment using only two items. The study provided two well-interpreted cutoffs of the PHQ-2, with real-world implications for mental health screening in under-resourced settings. No full textIntrodução: O pensamento crítico é um tópico de interesse significativo na enfermagem, apesar da ambiguidade terminológica e da ausência de uma concetualização amplamente aceite e adequada ao contexto clínico.
Objetivo: Traduzir e validar transculturalmente para os estudantes de Enfermagem de Timor-Leste o instrumento Nursing Critical Thinking in Students Questionnaire – Tétum Version© (N-CT-4 Students-Tétum Version©); e analisar o pensamento crítico dos estudantes de Enfermagem de Timor-Leste.
Metodologia: Esta investigação consiste num estudo metodológico, quantitativo, descritivo e correlacional. O estudo foi iniciado após aprovação pela Unit of Ethical Research and Development de Timor-Leste. A população do estudo foi constituída por estudantes de enfermagem de vários anos académicos de uma universidade de Timor-Leste. Os instrumentos deste estudo permitiram recolher dados referentes às características sociodemográficos dos estudantes e validar transculturalmente o N-CT-4 Students-Tétum Version©, composto por 109 itens de escolha múltipla, com uma escala de Likert.
Resultados: Participaram, no presente estudo, 551 estudantes de enfermagem de uma Universidade de Timor-Leste, com uma média de idade de 22 anos (22,480±1,657), maioritariamente do sexo feminino (64,8%) e a frequentar o 4.º ano do curso de Licenciatura em Enfermagem (45,2%). A análise fatorial exploratória permitiu identificar 4 dimensões do instrumento N-CT-4 Students-Tétum Version©: dimensão pessoal; dimensão intelectual e cognitiva; dimensão interpessoal e de autogestão; e dimensão técnica, evidenciando através do teste de Pearson correlações estatisticamente significativas entre todas as dimensões e o instrumento global. A análise fatorial confirmatória demonstrou um modelo, globalmente, não satisfatório apresentando apenas alguns dos índices de ajustamento dentro dos limites recomendados (χ2/ gl = 2,92; RMSEA = 0,059; PNFI = 0,535), embora com um alfa de Cronbach de 0,976. Após a análise psicométrica, com recurso à teste t-Student foi possível constatar a presença de diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre o variável sexo e as dimensões: Pessoal (t=-2,674; p<0,004), Interpessoal e de Autogestão (t=1,736; p<0,042) e Técnica (t=2,431; p<0,0,008). Além disso, verificou-se uma correlação de Pearson estatisticamente significativa entre a variável idade e a Dimensão Intelectual e Cognitiva (r=0,101; p<0,018), a Dimensão Interpessoal e de Autogestão (r=0,190; p<0,001), a Dimensão Técnica (r=0,216; p<0,001), e o N-CT-4 Students-Tétum Version© (r=0,098; p<0,021).
Conclusão: O instrumento N-CT-4 Students-Tétum Version© foi validado transculturalmente para os estudantes de Enfermagem de Timor-Leste., permitindo assim ter um instrumento que avalie o pensamento crítico dos estudantes de enfermagem em Timor-Leste.Introduction: Critical thinking is a topic of significant interest in nursing, despite terminological ambiguity and the absence of a widely accepted conceptualization appropriate to the clinical context.
Objective: To translate and cross-culturally validate the Nursing Critical Thinking in Students Questionnaire – Tétum Version© (N-CT-4 Students-Tétum Version©) for nursing students in Timor-Leste; and to analyze the critical thinking of nursing students in Timor-Leste.
Methodology: This research consists of a methodological, quantitative, descriptive and correlational study. The study was initiated after approval by the Unit of Ethical Research and Development of Timor-Leste. The study population consisted of nursing students from various academic years at a university in East Timor. The instruments used in this study made it possible to collect data on the sociodemographic characteristics of the students and to cross-culturally validate the N-CT-4 Students-Tetum Version©, consisting of 109 multiple-choice items with a Likert scale.
Results: 551 Nursing students from a University in East Timor participated in this study, with an average age of 22 year s (22.480±1.657), mostly female (64.8%) and attending the 4th year of the Nursing Degree course (45.2%). The exploratory factor analysis identified 4 dimensions of the N-CT-4 Students-Tetum Version© instrument: personal dimension; intellectual and cognitive dimension; Interpersonal and Self-management; and technical dimension, with Pearson's test showing statistically significant correlations between all the dimensions and the overall instrument. The confirmatory factor analysis showed an overall unsatisfactory model, with only some of the fit indices within the recommended limits (χ2/gl = 2.92; RMSEA = 0.059; PNFI = 0.535), although with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.976. After the psychometric analysis, using the Student's t-test, it was possible to verify the presence of statistically significant differences between the gender variable and the dimensions: Personal (t=-2.674; p<0.004), Interpersonal and Self-management (t=1.736; p<0.042) and Technical (t=2.431; p<0.0.008). In addition, there was a statistically significant Pearson correlation between the age variable and the Intellectual and Cognitive Dimension (r=0.101; p<0.018), the Interpersonal and Self-management Dimension (r=0.190; p<0.001), the Technical Dimension (r=0.216; p<0.001), and the N-CT-4 Students-Tetum Version© (r=0.098; p<0.021).Conclusion: The N-CT-4 Students-Tetum Version© instrument has been cross-culturally validated for nursing students in East Timor, thus providing an instrument that assesses the critical thinking of nursing students in East Timor
