    This propeller was built in 1884 by John Oades, Detroit, Michigan. Her first enrollment was issued at Detroit. Michigan, May 13, 1884. It was surrendered ar Marquette, Michigan, October 16, 1899, and endorsed "sold foreign." She was reenrolled at Marquette, Michigan, May 4, 1909. At the time of loss, she was owned by Great Waters Transportation Company, Benton Harbor, Michigan, a subsidiary of the House of David religious order. She became "Rising Sun" in 1915. She was stranded on Pyramid Point, seven miles northeast of Sleeping Bear Point, Lake Michigan, October 29, 1917. No lives were lost

    This propeller was built in 1950 by Port Weller Dry Docks, Port Weller, Ontario. She was owned by Colonial Steamships until 1986, when she was purchased by John E.F. Misener. She became "John E.F. Misener." As "John E.F. Misener," she ran aground on Hard Island, St Lawrence rover, August 19, 1966, and was released two days later. She was sold for scrap, and her registry was closed in August of 1986
