    A Treatise on Garden Design is the earliest Japanese treatise on landscape art, while The Craft of Gardens is its earliest Chinese counterpart. The former was composed roughly 500 years before the latter. Both are highly regarded in the landscape architectural com-munity. A Treatise on Garden Design elaborates on the techniques of stone and water ar-rangement in landscape design and draws significantly on Buddhism, the Yin-Yang theo-ry, and the theory of the Five Elements, illustrating the profound influence of metaphysics in China’s Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties. In addition to traditional Chi-nese concepts, it also incorporates Japanese national culture. The Craft of Gardens illus-trates the penchant for isolation among Chinese nobles and intellectuals in their creative idea of a garden landscape while providing a thorough overview of garden construction in ancient times. It exemplifies the achievements of traditional Chinese landscape art. This paper demonstrates, through a comparative analysis of the two works, that Chinese classical gardens, as a sign of secluded culture, demonstrate an appropriate integration of human design and natural elements and permit individual creativity regardless of the established rules, whereas their Japanese counterparts emphasize the actual simulation of nature

Cytokines are pleiotropic proteins that can effectively activate tumor immune cells and counteract immune suppression, thereby suppressing tumors. Cytokine immunotherapy provides more possibilities for the application of immunotherapy through its own induction and activation of the immune system and has also been extensively studied in NB immunotherapy.     The Effect of Activities Performed in the Science Center on Students’ Perceptions of Out-of-School Learning Environments

    This study aimed to investigate the effects of the applications conducted in the science center within the scope of the science lesson “Solar System and Beyond” unit of the 7th-grade students in the secondary school, on the perceptions of the students about the out-of-school learning environments (OSLEs). In the quantitative part of the research, in which nested design, one of the mixed research designs, was used, the study group consisted of 42 students. Also, in the quantitative part of the study, a quasi-experimental design with the pre-test-post-test control group, which is one of the experimental research methods, was used. The Science course was conducted in the classroom with the students in the control group as the program predicted. In addition to the science lessons conducted in the classroom with the experimental group students, activities within the scope of the unit were carried out in the science center and the planetarium. Quantitative data were collected with the “Out-of-School Learning Environments Perception Scale (OSLEPS)”. The follow-up test was applied to the experimental group of students three months later. In the qualitative part of the study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight students from the experimental and control groups. When the results obtained from the qualitative data are evaluated together with the quantitative data, it is seen that the practices in the science center and the perceptions of the experimental group students towards out-of-school learning environments differ positively compared to the control group students

    The Zhongliang Xiangyun Branch of Chengdu Longjiang Road Primary School, as a relatively young and inexperienced school, faced difficulties in guiding teachers towards suitable paths for their professional growth. To address this challenge and strengthen the teachers’ team, the school leverages its position as a key project school of digital teacher portraits in Wuhou District to conduct research on teachers’ professional growth paths. The study focuses on three directions, including teachers’ intelligent management path, teachers’ personalized research path, and teachers’ intelligent teaching implementation path. The school emphasizes the renewal of teachers’ education concepts and the improvement of their professional level, and develops a “Yunxin” teacher growth path planning map to construct a closed growth path through an all-round portrait of teachers. The school uses the intelligent management platform to realize paperless office work and to file teachers’ personal data and teaching resources online. Through the evaluation system of the digital teacher portrait platform, the school can effectively evaluate teachers’ work and establish a teacher development model. Furthermore, the school integrates both “offline centralized teaching” and “online personalized learning” to incorporate teacher classroom teaching data and student learning effect data into the important indicators of teacher “data portrait”. This integration promotes and supports teachers to carry out differentiated teaching, finally establishing a new model of “student-centered” intelligent education

    Development an Achievement Test on the Subject of “Basic Compounds in the Structure of Living Things”

    The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable achievement test on the subject of ‘Basic Compounds in the Structure of Living Things’. During the preparation of the draft form of the test, a 32 item-question pool was created by the researchers in the light of the relevant literature. Then, these questions were presented to expert opinion in terms of language, intelligibility and content. This draft test with 32 multiple choice questions, was applied to 252 students studying at three different high schools. Item difficulty and item discrimination indices were calculated for the data obtained. After the item analysis, seven questions were removed from the test. Thus, the average item difficulty of the 25-question achievement test was calculated as 0.44, and the average item discrimination was 0.44. The KR-20 reliability coefficient of the test was calculated as 0.75. This result shows that the test is of medium difficulty and excellent discriminative reliability. In addition, according to the revised Bloom taxonomy, seven of the questions in the test are at the level of remembering, fifteen at the level of understanding, two at the level of application and one at the level of evaluation

    Development of an Attitude Scale on Activities Related to Biology and Nature for Mentally Disabled Students

    The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable scale to determine the attitudes towards the activities that can be applied to the mentally retarded students about biology and nature. During the preparation of the draft form of the scale, an item pool was created from relevant literature. Then, these items were presented to expert opinion in terms of language, intelligibility and content. This draft scale with 30 items in 5-point Likert type was applied to 177 pre-service teachers studying in the special education department of the faculty of education at a state university. Item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were performed for the data collected after the application. As a result of the analyses, it was revealed that the scale had a five-factor structure consisting of 20 items. Confirmatory factor analysis revealed that the factor structure was compatible with the data. Goodness of fit index values was sufficient. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale was calculated as 0.89. It can be said that the scale is valid and reliable in determining the views of pre-service teachers about the activities to be applied for mentally retarded students. In addition, the scale is suitable not only for teacher candidates, but also for use by teachers and researchers. In addition, different types of samples such as students in other fields at the undergraduate level and special education teachers who take courses related to special education can be included in the study group
