    Get PDF
In this research, rice straw waste was collected from Ywathit, Patheingyi Township, Mandalay Region. Rice straw powder was prepared by electric blender and rice straw ash was prepared at 1000 ÂşC for three hours by using Muffle Furnace, and then ash content was determined by Association of Official Analytical Collaboration (AOAC) method. In addition, the elemental contents of rice straw powder and rice straw ash were performed by using Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) method. Silica was produced from rice straw ash by using standard method. Moreover, the functional groups of rice straw powder, rice straw ash and produced silica were examined by using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopic (FT-IR) method. Finally, the characteristics of the size and surface morphology of produced silica nanoparticles were evaluated by using X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) methods. So, this research informed that silica nanoparticle is the basic raw material of the glass, ceramic and refractory industries and important raw material for the production of soluble silicates, silicon and its alloy

The research paper aims to analyze the prospect, consequences, challenges and the impact of the China Belt and Road Initiative project on Myanmar. In 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping consecutively proposed building the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a strategy to connect Asia with Africa and Europe via land and maritime networks with the aim of improving regional integration, increasing trade and stimulating economic growth. China hoped this initiative could increase trade networks, diplomatic relations and further strategic goals. Myanmar is in a key location for the BRI project. China’s BRI project in Myanmar focuses on hydropower, cross-border industrial zones, connectivity, such as the high speed railway networks and the Kyaukphyu deep seaport. Myanmar attaches great importance to the BRI. The two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Belt and Road cooperation and China proposed the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor (CMEC) for which a MoU was signed. Many cooperative mechanisms and platforms have been established under the Initiative, such as the joint committee for Myanmar-China Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation, the joint committee for CMEC, and the CMEC Forum, and the Steering Committee for the Implementation of BRI. CMEC is a number of infrastructure projects supporting connectivity between Myanmar and China. It is an economic corridor of the Belt and Road Initiative. This research argues that why President Xi Jinping has unveiled the BRI and how China initiated the project. It also tries to explore the implications and prospects of BRI toward Myanmar. It was used descriptive and qualitative research method with primary and secondary data

    Get PDF
The present study aims to explore teacher's stress, coping strategies and job satisfaction amongst high school teachers in Mandalay Region. A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the 265 high school teachers in seven townships at Mandalay Region. The Myanmar version of questionnaires were developed by direct translation. Teacher's complete three questionnaires including The Teacher Stress Inventory (Schutz & Long, 1988), Brief Cope (Kyriacou 2000), and Teacher Satisfaction Scale (Ho & Au, 2006). The correlation analysis result shows that there is a significant negative relationship between stress and job satisfaction (r = - 0.35, p< 0.01). The teachers had a high rate of job satisfaction (M = 4.06, SD= 0.90) on 5 points scale. The present study found that teachers with higher levels of stress exhibit lower level of job satisfaction and teachers who use the coping strategies were more likely to be higher level of job satisfaction

Construction of - Nucleus Folding Potential for Li 8 System

The phenomenological potential between Lambda and core nucleus 7 Li is constructed by folding the Lambda-Nucleon interaction with harmonic oscillator form charge density distribution. Some potential strengths of the obtained Lambda-Nucleus folding potential are adjusted to reproduce the experimental Li 8 binding energy

A Study on Port User Perspectives on the Facilities and Performance of Yangon Port ( Moe Hein, 2025)

    Get PDF
Yangon Port is a significant international shipping hub in Myanmar, managing 90% of the nation's imports and exports. The port faces challenges including limited infrastructure, outdated facilities, and insufficient modernization. To meet growing customer expectations and uphold international standards, Yangon Port needs to adopt modern machinery, enhance skilled workforce capabilities, and expand cargo handling zones. This study aims to examine the development of Yangon Port and evaluate the perceptions of port users regarding its facilities and performance. A descriptive statistics method was employed in the study, utilizing both primary and secondary data. The primary findings reveal a moderate level of satisfaction among users, with strong approval for the berthing facilities. However, considerable issues persist relating to cargo handling equipment, storage space, and access via road and rail. Operational challenges, especially in customs processes, the efficiency of cargo handling, and customer service, hinder overall performance. To address these concerns, the study recommends improving transportation links, modernizing infrastructure, streamlining customs processes through automation, and enhancing customer support and transparency via digital solutions. It also highlights the need for strong public-private partnerships, effective strategic planning, and ongoing research to encourage sustainable growth and maintain Yangon Port's regional competitiveness

The Effect of Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction in the IRES Engineering Services Company (Chit Ko Ko Kyaw , 2025)

    Get PDF
In the IRES engineering services firm located in Yangon, Myanmar, this study analyzes the relationship between the quality of service and the level of satisfaction experienced by customers. In this study, a quantitative research approach was utilized. Tangibility, dependability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy are the five aspects of service quality that are the primary emphasis of this researcher's investigation. A structured questionnaire was used to gather data from a total of 334 clients, and the data was acquired using a basic random sample procedure. According to the findings, there is a statistically significant relationship between customer satisfaction and three fundamental aspects of service quality: tangibility, dependability, and assurance. Among these, tangibility is the one that displays the most beneficial effect, indicating the significance of physical infrastructure and professional presentation in the process of service delivery. Through the reinforcement of trust and consistency, reliability and assurance also play significant roles in the formation of consumer pleasure. Even if there is a positive correlation between responsiveness and empathy, the influence of these two features is not statistically significant when all of the dimensions are taken into consideration combined. These findings provide more evidence that a high level of service quality directly corresponds to an improvement in customer satisfaction. The increase of visible service aspects, professional behavior, and dependable operations need to be the top priorities for IRES Engineering Services. The engineering services industry is characterized by its high level of service quality, which is highlighted by these factors, which not only boost customer satisfaction but also develop long-term client relationships

    Get PDF
The study aims to investigate the factors affecting student satisfaction toward e-learning Master programs of the Department of Commerce, Yangon University of Economics (YUEco). Specifically, the study examines how four factors perceived ease of use, subjective norms, system quality, and perceived usefulness collectively influence student satisfaction. A quantitative research method was applied. A sample of 96 Master students selected using simple random sampling method. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 29, employing descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that perceived ease of use, subjective norms, and system quality have a statistically significant effect on student satisfaction, while perceived usefulness does not show a significant effect. Among the variables, system quality emerged as the most influential factor. These findings suggest that intuitive system design, peer support, and reliable technology platforms play a critical role in enhancing student satisfaction with e-learning. Therefore, higher education institutions should prioritize improving system quality, fostering social learning environments, and ensuring user-friendly digital systems to strengthen e learning outcomes for postgraduate students in Myanmar
