Factors Affecting Consumer Buying Decision Towards Panasonic Consumer Electronic Products in Yangon (Oo Win Hlaing, 2025)
This study aims to identify the factors affecting consumer buying decision
towards Panasonic consumer electronic products in Yangon and to analyse the factors
affecting consumer buying decision towards Panasonic consumer electronic products
in Yangon. A quantitative research method was employed.Primary data was collected
through structured questionnaires, targeting individual users of Panasonic consumer
electronic products. A sample of 171 respondents was selected with simple random
sampling method. This study focuses on five factors such as personal, social, product,
price, and promotion. This study found that the result of mean value for the five factors
were acceptable, the consumer perception has favour of the band with all mean scores
being high. Based on the findings, it is found that independent variables are somewhat
level of effect on consumer buying decision. This finding highlighted promotion factors
play a crucial role in driving customer buying decisions, having the highest positive
impact among factors studied. Personal factors and product factors also statistically
significant encourage consumers to choose Panasonic consumer electronic products.
Price had a negative impact, indicating that increases in price tend to reduce the
outcome. Social factors, such as peer recommendations, appear to have little effect on
consumer choices for Panasonic consumer electronics products. Panasonic should
continue to invest in impactful advertising campaigns, limited-time offers, bundled
deals, and in-store promotions to attract and retain customers and should consider to do
product demos, offering competitive pricing, installment plans, or entry-level models
with essential features, and influencer marketing or community-driven campaigns
Promotional Practices and Brand Awareness of SP Bakery (Shun Lei Myint Mo, 2025)
The main objective of this study is to examine the effect of promotional
practices on brand awareness at SP Bakery in Myanmar. The research adopts a
quantitative approach using a structured questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale.
Data were collected from 385 respondents through systematic sampling method.
Statistical tools such as mean value analysis and regression analysis were applied to
evaluate the impact of promotional practices on customer behavior and brand
recognition. The results indicate that advertising has the strongest positive effect on
brand awareness, followed by public relations and brand trust. While sales promotion
and direct marketing received moderate scores, they showed potential for
improvement through more personalized and targeted communication. The study
highlights the importance of consistent messaging, visual appeal, and customer-
centric promotions in enhancing brand recall and encouraging repeat purchases.
Based on the findings, it is recommended that SP Bakery continue to invest in creative
advertising and engaging public relations while also refining direct marketing and
sales promotions to better align with customer preferences. These improvements will
help strengthen brand awareness contributing to sustainable business growth in a
competitive bakery market
Impact of Urbanization on the Housing and Infrastructure Growth in East Dagon Township (Kyi Thar Tun, 2025)
This study examines the impact of urbanization on the growth of housing and
infrastructure in East Dagon Township. Since East Dagon is one of Yangon's fastest-
growing new areas, more migrants have been moving there in search of better living
conditions. The goal is to assess the impact of this urban growth on housing demand,
infrastructure capacity, and overall well-being. The analysis, which utilizes both
secondary and primary data from 250 household surveys, reveals that urbanization has
led to overcrowding, slums, and inadequate service delivery, despite also creating
economic opportunities and enhancing access to utilities and transportation. The
environment has suffered, and resources are overstretched as a result of population
increase outpacing infrastructure expansion. The paper recommends integrated
infrastructure investment, participatory urban planning, and immediate improvements
to housing policy. To achieve sustainable urban development and a high standard of
living for all residents, it is recommended that the government and citizens participate
more effectively in this endeavor
Factors Influencing Satisfaction of Local Tourists at Hpa - An , (Khin San Thit, 2025)
The main objectives of the study are to identify the factors influencing
satisfaction of local tourist at Hpa-An and to analyze the factors influencing satisfaction
of local tourist at Hpa-An. A quantitative research design was adopted, using a
structured questionnaire administered to 133 local tourists, selected through simple
random sampling from among visitors staying at Zwekapin Valley Resort during
December 2024. The sample size was determined based on Yamane’s (1973) formula.
Descriptive statistics and regression analysis were employed to assess the influence of
key variables, including knowledge, escape and relaxation, cultural experience, and
natural scenery. The findings indicate that escape and relaxation, along with natural
scenery, are the most significant predictors of tourist satisfaction. The tranquil
atmosphere, spiritual landmarks, and scenic beauty of Hpa-An contribute to emotional
renewal and enhance the visitor experience. Based on these findings, the study
recommends the development of wellness-focused tourism offerings, such as nature-
based retreats, guided walks, and mindfulness activities. Additionally, enhancing the
destination’s digital presence, encouraging user-generated content, and maintaining site
cleanliness and serenity are crucial for sustaining positive visitor impressions. These
insights provide practical implications for tourism policymakers and planners to
improve tourism products and services in alignment with visitor expectations, thereby
supporting sustainable tourism development in Hpa-An
Factors Influencing on Private Enterprises Doing Business in Yangon (Lin Htut Aung, 2025)
This study explores the perceptions of business owners in Yangon, Myanmar,
regarding key factors influencing private enterprises in Yangon. The objective is to
assess how regulatory environment, access to finance, infrastructure, human capital,
and political stability affect business growth. Using a structured survey administered to
200 entrepreneurs across various sectors. Descriptive analysis indicated strong human
capital and moderate satisfaction with financial access and infrastructure, while
governance issues remained a major barrier. Reliability testing confirmed the
consistency of the measurement tools. The findings indicate strong confidence in
human capital and infrastructure, but highlight concerns over regulatory clarity,
governance, and political instability. Access to finance was viewed as moderately
sufficient. The study recommends improving regulatory frameworks, enhancing
financial inclusion, and investing in workforce development through partnerships with
educational institutions. It also calls for further research using qualitative and regional
approaches to inform long-term policy reforms. These insights are vital for creating a
more supportive business environment and fostering sustainable private sector growth
in Myanmar
The Effect of Knowledge and Preventive Actions of Outdoor Workers on Heat-Related Health Problem(Case Study in Dagon Myothit Seikkan, Yangon) (Ni Ni Khine, 2025)
This study investigates the relationship between outdoor workers’ knowledge,
preventive actions, and the occurrence of heat-related health problems in Dagon
Myothit Seikkan, Yangon. Data were collected from a sample of 230 outdoor workers
aged 18 years and above. Descriptive statistics and a binary logistic regression model
were used. The results show that 71% of outdoor workers reported experiencing at least
one heat-related health symptom, such as fatigue, dizziness, or excessive sweating. The
results of the binary logistic regression analysis show that age and education were
significant predictors, with middle-aged outdoor workers being less likely to
experienced health problems compared to younger workers, and those with a high
school education and above being less likely to experienced health problems compared
to those with no formal education. Knowledge about heat-related health problems and
preventive actions significantly reduced the likelihood of experiencing health problems.
The findings emphasize the need for targeted awareness campaigns, especially among
younger and less-educated group
A Study on the Perceptions of TB Patients in Accessing TB Treatments (Case Study: Insein Township, Yangon Region) (Aung Min Oo, 2025)
This study examines the Perceptions of TB Patients in Accessing TB Treatments
(Case Study: Insein Township, Yangon Region) in Myanmar. The main objective is to
access the awareness of TB patients on TB Treatments and explore perceptions of TB
patients on TB Treatments in Insein Township. The study used a descriptive analysis
with primary data. This study highlights key strategies to enhance tuberculosis (TB)
care. The finding of the survey revealed that most were middle-aged males with
moderate education, often married or unemployed, and many had low incomes.
Awareness of TB frequently arose through social networks, with private clinics being
the initial care source. Diagnosis was timely for most, with minimal barriers aside from
some issues with distance and wait times. Patients typically lived close to treatment
centers, used public transport, and demonstrated strong adherence and satisfaction with
care, despite facing stigma and awareness gaps. Emotional support was the greatest
unmet need, and community support was generally positive. Respondents favoured
involving community leaders, NGOs, increased awareness campaigns, expanded local
facilities, and emphasized financial and nutritional aid, with strong support for
government-led initiatives to improve TB care access
ASSESSING THEAccessibility Challenges for Persons With Disabilities in Rural Villages : A Case Study of Kyauktaga Township Bago District in Myanmar. (Aung Moe Thu, 2025)
This study investigates the multifaceted accessibility challenges faced by people with
disabilities in 13 rural villages of Kyauktaga Township, Bago District, Myanmar. The research
draws on primary data from 126 individuals with disabilities, complemented by secondary
sources from WHO, MIMU, and other key studies. The study anslysis focuses on four types of
barriers: environmental, attitudinal, communication, and institutional, across key domains
including household surroundings, education, healthcare, and employment. Findings reveal
that environmental barriers are pervasive, with poor infrastructure such as inaccessible toilets,
unpaved roads, and lack of mobility aids limiting basic movement and independence.
Attitudinal barriers persist, especially through social stigma, overprotection, and perceptions
of incapability, even within families and communities. Institutional challenges are faced with
the absence of inclusive school practices, and limited access to assistive devices or vocational
opportunities. Communication barriers, including lack of accessible formats (e.g., audio, sign
language, braille), further marginalize people with disabilities from education, health services,

A Study of Elderly People's Perceptions on Social Capital in Myanmar (Case Study : South Okkalapa Township, Yangon) ( Myat Thu Zar Khin, 2025)
Social capital significantly influences the well-being and social inclusion of elderly individuals. This study explored the perceptions of older people on social capital
in South Okkalapa Township, Yangon Region, Myanmar. The study applied descriptive
method by using both primary data and secondary data. The research surveyed 393
elderly respondents aged 60 and above in the township. The findings indicate that while
elderly individuals mainly rely on family for emotional and practical support, their involvement in broader community activities is limited. Strong family relationships
provide a sense of security, yet the lack of community engagement contributes to social
isolation. Moreover, awareness and use of available social services among the elderly
were found to be low. The study emphasizes the need to strengthen community-based
networks and social support programs to enhance the well-being of older adults. These
insights are crucial for policymakers and caregivers in developing strategies that promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the elderly
An Analysis of Procurement Challenges Encountered at Humanitarian Organizations in Myanmar (A Case Study of Myanmar Red Cross Society) (Than Zaw, 2025)
The objective of the study is to identify the important role of procurement and
to investigate procurement challenges encountered at humanitarian organizations in
Myanmar and to analyze the effectiveness of procurement practices and to improve
the performance of procurement management in all sectors of the Program and
Projects of the Myanmar Red Cross Society. Furthermore, the focus of this thesis is
on finding solutions procurement practice to overcome the challenges that have been
discovered. The survey was conducted on 125 randomly selected staff, volunteers and
suppliers and/or service providers of Red Cross Movements including Myanmar Red
Cross Society in Myanmar with a structured questionnaire. Most of the respondents
agreed that procurement process improved clear instruction and easier presentation
and the number of procuring goods or service orders from various projects. The study
suggested that procurement entities of Myanmar Red Cross Society should be aware
through training to achieve superior knowledge in the entire procurement process and
how to improve procurement procedures in the organization
