    Cost-Effectiveness of Residential Solar Energy Adoption in Myanmar (A Case Study of Yankin Township, Yangon Region) (Hsu Myat Noe Pwint, 2025)

    This study examines the cost-effectiveness of residential solar energy adoption in Yankin Township, Yangon. Primary data are collected from 100 households through a structured survey and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Secondary sources, including government reports and academic studies, provide contextual background. These sources indicate that the government supports solar energy through the National Electrification Plan and Investment Law, offering incentives such as tax exemptions and simplified procedures for selling excess power. Despite these policies, households face challenges including high upfront costs, limited financing options, space limitations in urban areas, and insufficient technical support. Survey results confirm strong cost-saving benefits, with 99% of households reporting lower electricity bills after adopting solar systems. Moreover, households with higher initial electricity costs achieved the greatest financial benefits from adopting solar systems. Participants also report positive perceptions of solar energy, highlighting improvements in study conditions, health, comfort, and overall quality of life. Additionally, solar systems are recognized for reducing outages and stress from unreliable supply, while perceptions of public electricity services remain neutral, reflecting ongoing concerns over stability and reliability

    The main objectives of this study are to analyze the effect of emotional intelligent competency on social engagement quality on student satisfaction, to examine the effect of student engagement on student satisfaction and to analyze the mediating effect of social presence on the relationship between student satisfaction and academic achievement towards at The SUN Institute Myanmar Training School. There are 20,000 students in 2024 academic year. To ensure statistical reliability and analytical accuracy, a sample size of 377 students determined by using the Raosoft sample size calculator. Simple random sampling method is used to select the respondents. Primary data collection is conducted and administered through online survey by using structured questionnaire with five-point Likert. In addition to primary data, secondary data are gathered and compiled from relevant books, research papers, academic journals, and credible institutional resources connected with The SUN Institute Myanmar. For data analysis, both descriptive statistics and regression analysis are used and applied. According the results, relationship management competence and social awareness of social competence have a positive and significant effect on student engagement. In addition, student engagement has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction. It is also found that there is a mediating effect of social presence values on the relationship between student satisfaction and academic achievement. To improve student satisfaction and academic achievement, The SUN Institute Myanmar should strengthen emotional intelligence competencies by focusing on relationship management and social awareness

    The objectives of this study are to analyze the influencing factors on green purchase intention and to examine the effect of green purchase intension on green purchase decision towards Shwe Yoe Yar Cotton Collection in Yangon. Using the Raosoft sample size calculator, a sample of 377 respondents is determined for unknown population of the customers of Shwe Yoe Yar Cotton Collection. Systematic sampling method is used to collect the data from every 5th customer who are coming into Shwe Yoe Yar Cotton Collection, from 1st Sept 2025 to 30th Sept 2025. Primary data are collected through structured questionnaires with five-point Likert scales. Online survey method with google form is used to collect the primary data. Secondary data are obtained from various sources including relevant text books, previous research papers, articles, journals, websites, and other related information resources to support the research objectives. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis are utilized to analyze the data. Regression analysis reveals that green product quality, green attitude, green product experience, subjective norms and environmental friendliness have positive and significant effect on green purchase intention. Green purchase intention has positive and significant effect on green purchase decision. This study suggests that Shwe Yoe Yar Cotton Collection should focus on strengthening these key factors such as green product quality, green value, environmental sustainability, green attitude, perceived environmental responsibility, green product experience, subjective norms and environmental friendliness to build a resilient organization that enhances green product intention and decision

    The objectives of this study are to examine the effect of green human resource management on employee environmental commitment, to investigate the effect of green human resource management on organizational citizenship behaviour for the environment, and to analyze the effect of employee environmental commitment and organizational citizenship behaviour for the environment on corporate environmental performance in Awei Pila Resort, Mergui Archipelago. In this study, both primary and secondary data are used. The sample size consists of 95 out of 125 employees from Awei Pila Resort, Mergui Archipelago, as determined by the Raosoft sample size calculator. To select the respondents, a simple random sampling method is used in the study. The online survey method is used to collect the primary data. Secondary data is collected from relevant textbooks, some previous research papers, reports, and website information from Awei Pila Resort, Mergui Archipelago. For data analysis, both descriptive statistics and regression analysis are applied. Based on the regression analysis, green training and green employee involvement have positive and significant effect on employee environmental commitment. Green employee involvement has positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behaviour for the environment. Employee environmental commitment and organizational citizenship behaviour for the environment have positive and significant effect on corporate environmental performance. The study suggests that Awei Pila Resort, located in the Mergui Archipelago, should focus on enhancing its green human resource management practices, including green training, green performance management, and green employee involvement, to position itself as a sustainable eco-luxury resort that improves its corporate environmental performance

    This study examines the impact of digital transformation in the logistics sector in Yangon, Myanmar. The descriptive method approach is used in this study to investigate the current situation of digital transformation in fostering sustainability in logistics operations and to analyze the impact of digital transformation in the logistics sector. The findings reveal a strong basis for digital transformation, especially in terms of employee awareness and collaboration. Logistics professionals in Myanmar are very aware of and positive about digital transformation. They scored high on supply chain visibility, data-driven decision-making, and timeliness. The study suggests that, through focused training, cross-functional collaboration, inclusive planning, and continuous evaluation, logistics companies can maximize the position themselves for long-term success in an increasingly competitive and data-driven environment

    KBZ Pay has become more popular and successful than other mobile payment services in Myanmar. This study examines how technological factors influence user satisfaction and assesses satisfaction levels among University students in Sagaing City. It focuses on six key technological aspects: usefulness, ease of use, trust, facilitating conditions,security, social influence, and overall user satisfaction. The research used a cluster sampling method and a quantitative approach, collecting 300 valid responses via questionnaires from KBZ Pay students in Sagaing City. Secondary data were gathered from journals, articles, textbooks, and websites. The analysis included personal profile data, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis. Results showed that usefulness, ease of use, facilitating conditions, and security significantly affected user satisfaction, while trust and social influence did not. These results highlight the need for marketers in mobile banking to identify and focus on the most impactful technological factors to enhance user satisfaction, improve competitiveness,and increase sales. The insights also suggest strategies, such as utilizing internet services, to boost user satisfaction and loyalty

    The study aims to analyze the impact of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factors on teacher performances Wang For You Education (WFY) and Century Private School, Mandalay. To achieve these objectives, this study focuses on 127 academic staff from selected two private schools in Mandalay. In this study, 127 respondents from selected two private schools in Mandalay are selected as sample respondents by using simple random sampling method. Structured questionnaire is used to collect primary data and in-depth interviews are conducted to obtain the required information from Wang For You Education (WFY) and Century Private School in Mandalay. Primary data are analyzed by using descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. According to the multiple regression analysis results, teacher performances are positively influenced by intrinsic factors (achievement, personal development, and responsibility). Among them, responsibility is the most significantly effect on teacher performances than other variables. Moreover, extrinsic factors (salary and benefit, and relationship with co-worker) have positive and significant effect on teacher performances. In addition, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factors have significant effect on teacher performances of Wang For You Education (WFY) and Century Private School in Mandalay. Therefore, it can be concluded that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factors can enhance the teacher performances. Thus, motivation factors (intrinsic and extrinsic) are essential for the Wang For You Education (WFY) and Century Private School in Mandalay to achieve the expected performance of teacher. Therefore, private school should emphasize the significant factors achievement, personal development, responsibility, salary and benefit, relationship with co-worker) to have more teacher motivation because motivation plays an essential role in creating job satisfaction, employee performance

    This study aims to analyze the effects of mobile banking service quality on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty at KBZ Bank in Mandalay. In this study, both primary data are collected from 280 mobile banking users of KBZ bank in Mandalay by using stratified random sampling method. Secondary data are gathered from previous studies, websites and textbooks. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis and multiple and simple linear regression analyses are used in this study. The findings reveal that service quality and technology factor positively influence on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, while information quality did not influence on customer satisfaction towards customer loyalty. These results suggest that customers prioritize functional efficiency, user experience, and personalized support over service responsiveness and perceived security. This study contributes to both theoretical and practical knowledge by integrating mobile banking service to understand customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in digital banking sector. The findings contribute two types of implications including practical implications for mobile banking service developer for KBZ Bank and literature implications concerning with mobile banking service quality dimensions, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty

    This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational culture on employee job satisfaction and to examine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at UAB Bank in Yangon East Zone 1. To achieve these objectives, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and regression analysis are applied in this study. The primary data are collected with an online survey structured questionnaire that is distributed to 110 employees of UAB Bank in Yangon East Zone 1 by using cluster sampling method. The findings indicate that supportiveness, performance-oriented and work-life balance factors have positive significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Moreover, employee job satisfaction has a positive significant effect on employee performance. The findings provide these important implications for managers to pay attention to organizational cultures to get higher satisfaction from their employees. Organizational culture that contributes to job satisfaction, such as supportiveness, performance oriented, and work-life balance, can create a satisfying workplace for a bank’s employees, leading to improvements in bank employee performance. Moreover, the findings show that innovation and emphasis on rewards have no significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Therefore, UAB Bank should prioritize workplace environment enhancement initiatives to foster improved organizational outcomes. UAB Bank should enhance employee satisfaction by managing innovation-related stress, workload, and resource allocation; implementing flexible work arrangements; promoting wellness; and fostering a positive organizational culture

    7PS MARKETING MIX STRATEGIES AND ITS IMPACT ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION OF MYANMA INSURANCE IN MAUBIN DISTRICT

    The purpose of this research is to identify the effectiveness of marketing strategies and to analyze the relationship between the 7Ps marketing mix elements and customer satisfaction in the context of Myanma Insurance in Maubin District. A positive research philosophy and a deductive approach were adopted, employing a survey research strategy to collect primary data. A structured questionnaire using was distributed to a sample of 200 respondents through a systematic sampling method, representing the population of Myanma Insurance customers in Maubin District. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation analysis,and multiple regression analysis to determine the influence of marketing mix elements on customer satisfaction. The findings indicate that customers perceive the overall marketing mix strategies of Myanma Insurance positively, with mean scores of all 7Ps—Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence exceeding 4.0. Among the marketing mix elements, Price, Process, and Place received the highest mean scores, indicating strong customer satisfaction with affordable pricing,efficient service procedures, and accessible service locations. However, Promotion received a comparatively lower score, suggesting the need for improved advertising and communication strategies. Correlation results show that all 7Ps elements have a significant and positive correlation with customer satisfaction. According to multiple regression analysis, Price, Process, and Place had the most significant influence at the 1% level, while Promotion and People were significant at the 5% level. This study contributes to both theoretical and practical understanding by applying the 7Ps marketing mix framework in a public insurance context in a regional township. The findings provide actionable insights for policymakers and insurance managers,highlighting the importance of transparent pricing, service efficiency, and customer access in enhancing satisfaction in the public insurance sector
