    The Effect of Organizational Culture on Employee Performance at W & Associates Limited (The Aye Phyu, 2025)

    The objective of this study is to examine the effect of organizational culture on employee performance at W & Associates Limited. This study focuses on five cultural dimensions mission, power distance, involvement, consistency and adaptability as defined by recognized organizational culture models. With a sample of 58 employees, the data were collected through structured questionnaires from supervisory and managerial staff at W & Associates Limited. The findings revealed that involvement, consistency, and mission had a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The findings from multiple regression analysis revealed that Consistency, Power Distance, Mission, and Involvement had a statistically significant and positive influence on employee performance. Among these, Consistency emerged as the strongest predictor, highlighting the importance of shared values and standardized practices. In contrast, Adaptability did not show a significant effect, suggesting that responsiveness to change is not currently a key driver of performance within the firm’s context.Based on these findings, the study recommends that W & Associates Limited continue to reinforce consistent practices, strengthen mission alignment, and foster participative decision-making to sustain high performance. It also suggests improving adaptability through continuous learning and innovation, and maintaining a clear, structured hierarchy supported by effective communication. These cultural enhancements are vital for promoting employee engagement, motivation, and long- term organizational success

    Analysis of Knowledge, Perception and Utilization of Alternative Energy ( Aye Mya Myat Soe, 2025)

    This study examines household-level utilization of alternative energy sources in North Dagon Township, Yangon, during the period from January to June 2025. A structured questionnaire was administered to 354 purposively selected respondents across Wards 39, 44, and 48. The sample size was determined using confidence interval methods to ensure statistical reliability. Descriptive statistics were applied to analyze frequency and percentage distributions of energy types, while chi-square tests were employed to identify statistically significant associations between energy usage patterns and household characteristics. Results show solar energy as the most adopted source (27.4%), followed closely by gas and biomass. Traditional fuels remain in use despite urban context, indicating continued barriers in affordability, infrastructure, and awareness. Generator reliance further reflects grid instability. Significant associations were found between energy type and household income as well as housing status. The study recommends targeted subsidies, infrastructure investment, and energy education to support equitable access. It concludes that advancing sustainable energy in urban settings requires not only technical solutions but also social and policy-driven approaches grounded in the lived realities of diverse communities

    This study aims to examine the performance of cooperative societies in Mawlamyine Township, Mon State, Myanmar, focusing on 40 selected cooperatives societies across production, trading, and service sectors. The research employs a descriptive method, utilizing both primary data collected from Board of Directors (BOD) members and secondary data from the Mawlamyine Township Cooperative Department spanning 2015–2024. Key findings reveal that cooperatives in Mawlamyine Township have demonstrated financial viability, with profits and dividends distributed fairly among members. The societies provide essential services, including savings and loans, agricultural inputs, marketing support, consumer goods, and technical assistance. However, challenges such as poor management, insufficient funding, low member participation, inadequate communication, and competition from other businesses hinder their optimal performance. The study highlights the critical role of governance and member engagement in sustaining cooperative success. Recommendations include strengthening leadership transparency, improving financial management, enhancing member education, and expanding access to loans. By addressing these challenges, cooperatives can better fulfill their mission of fostering economic and social development for their members and the broader community

    Leadership Styles and Job Performance of the General Administration Department ( Cing Thawn Vung, 2025)

    This study aims to identify the leadership styles practiced at the General Administration Department and to examine the influence of leadership styles such as transformational, transactional, and charismatic leadership on job performance at the General Administration Department. The primary data are collected from 336 staff from various regional, district and township offices of General Administration Department in Yangon region with a structured questionnaire using a simple random sampling method. Secondary data sources contained relevant textbooks, previous research papers, records of the company and relevant articles from internet websites. The methods of study included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and multiple linear regression methods. The findings show that transactional leadership and transformational leadership have a significant and positive effect on job performance. Among them, transformational leadership emerged as the most dominant style. Based on these findings, leaders should use suitable leadership styles that build trust, involve employees, and give recognition to improve job performance, while adjusting to different staff needs and work environments

    The study aims to analyze the factors influencing experiential quality, to analyze the effect of experiential quality on experiential satisfaction and experiential trust, and to analyze the effect of experiential satisfaction and experiential trust on experiential loyalty towards Café Amazon coffee shops in Yangon. Both primary and secondary data are used to get the research objectives. Two-stage sampling method is applied to collect primary data. First, Myanmar Plaza branch is selected by using simple random sampling method out of 8 branches in Yangon. Second, respondents are selected using systematic sampling method that is collected from every fifth customers who enter the coffee shop. Survey period is first week of March. Total 377 customers are selected. Personal interview method is applied. Secondary data are collected from related research papers, internet websites and relevant textbooks. From regression analysis, physical environment quality, outcome quality and affective quality have positive and significant effect on experiential quality. Experiential quality also has positive and significant effect on experiential satisfaction and experiential trust. Then, experiential satisfaction and experiential trust have positive and significant effect on experiential loyalty towards Café Amazon coffee shops in Yangon. The study recommends that Café Amazon coffee shops should maintain the physical environment quality, outcome quality and affective quality to get experiential satisfaction, experiential trust and experiential loyalty

    This study explores how relationship marketing techniques affect customer happiness and loyalty at Myanmar's AYA Bank Public Company Limited (AYA Bank PCL). Trust, communication, commitment, technical competency, and bonding for long-term customer connections are studied in relationship marketing. Through simple random sampling, 403 Yangon-based AYA Bank clients get a standardized questionnaire for quantitative research. Analyses include descriptive statistics, reliability testing, correlation, and regression. Though all five relationship marketing techniques improve client happiness, bonding has the most impact. Results show a statistically significant association between customer happiness and loyalty. When purposeful, AYA Bank PCL's relationship marketing may boost client happiness and loyalty. The report suggests that AYA Bank PCL increase individualized engagement methods, invest in technology, and create loyalty-focused programs to stay competitive in Myanmar's dynamic banking business

    A Study of Teachers’ Perception on Curriculum Development in Education Sector (Case: Thingangyun East Township) ( May Myint Myat Thu, 2025)

    This study is focused on the upper secondary education curriculum, specifically examining teachers' perceptions of the new curriculum and the challenges they face. A descriptive research method was employed. The findings indicate a shift in the education system from the 5-4-2 structure to the KG+12 (5-4-3) system. The new curriculum is designed to foster independent thinking, creativity, and collaboration. It is perceived as a curriculum that supports students’ future careers. Teachers with longer years of service generally hold more positive views about the new curriculum compared to those with fewer years of experience. Out of 127 respondents, the majority identified teacher knowledge and qualifications as crucial, and noted that current training opportunities are insufficient. Many respondents also reported difficulties related to the teaching and learning environment. Nevertheless, nearly all teachers expressed confidence in their ability to overcome these obstacles

    This study aims to examine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and how, in turn, customer satisfaction influences customer loyalty toward the international trade services offered by Myanmar Oriental Bank Ltd. (MOB). A quantitative research approach is employed, involving a sample of 150 corporate clients from MOB’s Head Office, selected through simple random sampling. The findings from multiple regression analysis indicate that among the five service quality dimensions, responsiveness and tangibility have a statistically significant effect on customer satisfaction. This study recommends MOB Bank enhance responsiveness through fast, efficient communication via email, phone, and in-person, as it highly influences customer satisfaction. Improving tangible elements like modern banking systems and physical facilities is also crucial. Focusing on both dimensions can strengthen customer loyalty and sustain a competitive edge in trade banking. Furthermore, linear regression analysis proved that higher customer satisfaction significantly enhances customer loyalty. To strengthen customer satisfaction and thereby improve customer loyalty, MOB should focus on enhancing the physical facilities and office design to create a more attractive and comfortable environment. Additionally, regular training programs should be provided to staff to enhance their knowledge and skills, enabling them to respond more effectively to customer inquiries

    Factors Influencing Student Satisfaction and Student Loyalty towards YOUTH International College (Linn Sandar Win, 2025)

    This study aims to investigate the elements affecting student satisfaction and to explore the mediating role of reputation in the connection between student satisfaction and student loyalty at YOUTH International College. The Yamane formula is utilized to determine the sample size. A total of 138 students aged over 18 are chosen from 210 using the simple random sampling technique. The method of online surveys is utilized to gather primary data. Secondary data is collected from earlier research studies, online sources, textbooks, and the information obtained from YOUTH International College. Descriptive statistics and linear regression techniques are utilized for analyzing data. The regression analysis shows that advising, facilities, financial aid, tuition fees, curriculum, and teaching quality positively significantly impact student satisfaction. Results show that student satisfaction positively significantly influences student loyalty. The regression outcome suggests that college reputation mediates the connection between student satisfaction and student loyalty. To enhance student satisfaction and loyalty according to the findings, YOUTH International College ought to construct or renovate indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including basketball courts, football pitches, gyms, badminton courts, swimming pools, and running tracks. Moreover, it ought to provide a diverse array of elective and specialized modules throughout its programs

    This study aims to investigate how training practices influence job satisfaction among Bank employees, to evaluate the impact of job satisfaction on employee performance, and to assess the moderating role of role ambiguity in the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance at KBZ Bank. Primary and secondary data are both employed. A sample of 391 from 18,000 employees is selected using the Yamane formula. The respondents are chosen using a simple random sampling method. Data are gathered using structured questionnaires that employ a 5- point Likert scale. Primary data is gathered using the online survey method. Secondary data is derived from scholarly publications and institutional resources. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression techniques. This research indicates that training needs assessment, training effectiveness, and training evaluation greatly influence job satisfaction. Additionally, job satisfaction greatly impacts employee performance. Role ambiguity has a partial negative moderating effect on the connection between job satisfaction and employee performance. Based on the results, KBZ bank ought to offer training that addresses employees' needs to improve job satisfaction and boost employee performance
