FACTOR AFFECTING THE USAGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN HRD PROGRAMME AT UNIVERSITY OF CO-OPERATIVE AND MANAGEMENT, SAGAING
In the digital age, social media has been seen as one of the most commonly used mediums of communication among all age groups. Social media usage is one of the most common activities among children, adolescents, and emerging adults nowadays, influencing both academic and personal activities. This research investigates the effects of social media usage on the educational performance of master‟s students in the Human Resource Development (HRD) programme at the University of Co-operative and Management, Sagaing. In particular, the study analyzes the influence of four critical factors time appropriateness, nature of usage, friends and people connection, and self-regulation on students‟ educational outcomes. The main objective of the study is to identify HRD programme students using social media from University of Co-operative and Management, Sagaing and to analyze the effect of social media on students‟ educational performance. A simple random sampling method was used to collect data from 221 respondents who participated using a questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale to measure the effects of students‟ educational performance. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Findings indicate moderate positive correlations between time appropriateness, friends and people connections, and Self-Regulation by students of social media usage and educational performance. Conversely, the nature of social media usage was found to have a negative impact. The findings of this study have implications that stress the need for self-regulation, effective time management, and reflective social media use in achieving academic success. It is thus suggested that universities and teachers should strongly promote digital discipline and offer support in cultivating students' self-regulation capacities to harness the complete potential of social media in education. Besides, institutions of higher education are urged to foster responsible digital behavior and provide detailed instructions on optimal time management strategies. Implementation of these recommendations is likely to enhance the level of educational attainment among students and enable them to manage social media use more efficiently

Both primary and secondary data were used in this study. The research surveyed 150 households by using a simple random sampling method through a structured questionnaire employing a five-point Likert scale. Descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple linear regression analyses were applied to assess the relationships between the independent variables and the effects of the water distribution system. The findings reveal that all three factors, such as accessibility, water quality, and governance, have statistically significant positive effects on the system’s effectiveness of water distribution. Specifically, households show greater satisfaction when water sources are nearby and affordable in which water quality is high, and governance is transparent and responsive. Recommendations aim to ensure a more sustainable, equitable, and reliable water distribution system for all residents. The study also highlights the need for future research to explore long-term trends, comparative regional analyses, and the role of emerging technologies in optimizing water distribution
THE IMPACT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IMPLEMENTATION ON HOTELS AND TOURISM INDUSTRY
This academic study evaluates variations in the effects of implementing information technology (IT) in the hotels and tourism industry, as specific to the adoption and continuous usage intention of the Guest List Information System (GLIS),particularly in relation to implementing GLIS within the Directorate of Hotels & Tourism (DHT) in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. Using a quantitative method, a questionnaire was distributed to 165 staff members and directors of DHT by stratified random sampling. The study draws on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to evaluate the factors that affect how GLIS is adopted and used specifically performance expectancy,
effort expectancy, social influence, facilitation conditions, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use. The correlation and regression analysis shows that perceived usefulness and performance expectancy are the most important predictors of GLIS adoption. Successful implementation of technology positively correlates with the intention to continue the use of technology. The findings of this study confirm the need to consider user designed technology, significant training competence programs, and organizational support in implementing technology. Recommendations for
policymakers and administrators include investing in IT infrastructure, improving digital literacy, and fostering a culture of innovation, that can sustain long-term use of technology in the tourism industry
SAVING BEHAVIOR OF PENSION DEPARTMENT STAFF IN OTTARATHIRI TOWNSHIP
The purpose of this research was to explore the factors that influence saving behavior among employees of the Pension Department in Ottarathiri Township. The relevant influencing factors were financial literacy, parental factors, peer influence, and self-control, and saving behavior was considered as the dependent variable.Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires and interviews with key informants. Out of the 188 people, 128 were selected as the sample. The data were analyzed using SPSS software, descriptive statistics, and multiple linear regression
analysis. The results of the research show that most of the staff were able to effectively manage their income and expenses, and had an understanding of financial matters, especially investment methods. Financial literacy, peer influence, and parental factors have been shown to have a significant impact on saving behavior. In particular, parental education and financial management have been shown to have a long-term impact on saving behavior. However, self-control does not have a significant impact on saving behavior in this study. This could be due to the fact that individuals with low incomes, high consumption habits, or less experience with long-term financial management are more likely to be affected. Therefore, this study examines the saving behavior of public servants in relation to important external factors such as financial literacy, family influence, and social pressure

A STUDY OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTION IN YENANGYAUNG TOWNSHIP
This study explores petroleum production in Yenangyaung Township, a historically important oil-producing area in Myanmar. Drawing on secondary sources, including official reports, academic studies, and industry records, the research outlines the evolution of extraction activities, well performance, and local production patterns. The analysis shows that oil output peaked in the early 2000s, followed by a gradual decline attributed to the aging of reservoirs and reduced extraction efficiency. In recent years, a modest improvement has been noted due to the application of updated drilling methods. However, persistent concerns remain—such as land degradation, falling groundwater levels, and soil pollution—raising questions about the sustainability of ongoing operations. The overall trend points toward a continuous decrease in oil production, suggesting that the region’s natural reserves are being steadily depleted. Unless alternative methods or strategies are introduced, production levels are unlikely to return to former highs. These findings underline the urgent need for renewed management practices and a more sustainable approach to resource use in order to support the long-term viability of petroleum activities in the area
