ANALYSIS ON FACTORS AFFECTING EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT OF MANDALAY ELECTRICITY SUPPLY CORPORATION (MESC)
The objectives of the study are to investigate the characteristics of employee engagement factors and employee productivity and to analyze the effect of employee engagement factors on employee productivity of MESC. To meet the objectives of the study, the primary data are collected from 139 employees with the stratified random sampling method. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis are used to analyze the effects of employee engagement factors on employee productivity. According to the result from analysis based on the employee engagement factors perceptions of employees on training and development is the maximum agreement level and communication is the minimum agreement level. From the correlation analysis, four variables are high correlated with employee productivity except reward and recognition. From the multiple regression analysis, it is clearly observed that the employee engagement factors have positive and significant effect on employee productivity. On the other hand, reward and recognition do not have significant effect on employee productivity. Thus, this study suggests MESC to maintain and strengthen these factors by implementing flexible work arrangements, promoting effective supervision, fostering open communication, and investing in employee
training. These initiatives are essential for sustaining a productive workforce and achieving organizational success

The rapid growth of shoe shops in recent years has made competition fiercer. Consumer buying decision is influenced by several factors including product, price, place, promotion, people, process and physical evidence. This study analyzed the factors influencing (product, price, place, promotion, people, process and physical evidence) on consumers’ buying decisions of converse shoes in Dom shop, Dubai. This research used a quantitative approach with a questionnaire as the method of collecting data. There was a sample of 150 respondents. Systematic sampling method was used to collect data from Dom Shop among customers in Dubai. Data analysis
was through descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression by using SPSS. According to the correlation coefficient results showed that the independent variables; place, process and physical evidence are positively and weekly correlated and product, price, promotion and people are moderately correlated with customer buying decision. It can be concluded that if the marketing mix practice is more created the customer buying decision will be more achieved by the Dom shop. As a results of multiple regression analysis, the most influence factor on consumers’ buying decision is promotion and the second influence
factor is product. But price, place, people, process and physical evidence are not significant. So, these elements of the marketing mix may not currently be influencing buying decision as strongly as other factors such as product and promotion
EFFECT OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES ON EMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION IN AYA BANKS
This study is to identify the HRM practices of AYA Banks and to analyze the effect of HRM practices on employee job satisfaction in AYA Banks. For primary data collection, 110 employees who provide financial services in the 10 branches of AYA banks in Ayeyarwady Region of Myanmar are selected by using structured questionnaires. In this study, employees’ job satisfaction is dependent variable and human resource management (HRM) practices. That includes recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation and benefits, retention and supervision as independent variables. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the collected data. The results revealed that most HRM practices have a significant positive correlation with employee job satisfaction. Regression analysis showed that Retention and Supervision and Compensation and Benefits were the strongest predictors of satisfaction, while Recruitment and Selection had a smaller but statistically significant effect. In contrast, Training and Development and Performance Appraisal did not exhibit significant influence, suggesting gaps in either implementation or employee perception. These findings highlight the need for AYA Bank to enhance its training initiatives and appraisal systems to ensure alignment with employee expectations. The management of AYA Bank should consider changing the
way of job delegation again which is related to responsibility factor because it doesn’t have the significant effect on job satisfaction according to the study result. The management of AYA Bank should promote the activities which increase co-worker relationships because this factor is the most significant one for the employee job satisfaction. By doing these things, the job satisfaction level of the employees at AYA Bank will increase and it will lead to increase their performance as well
Religious Land Use of Thaw Tar Pan Ward in Sagaing
Thaw Tar Pan Ward is the first place of Buddhist religious sasana in Sagaing area since Lord Buddha
arrived at this place in his tour in Myanmar during his lifetime. The name of the ward “Thaw Tar
Pan” was given with reference to the being of sotapanna stage by ogre’s zeta and his followers after
hearing the preaching Lord Buddha. Thaw Tar Pan is one of 23 wards of Sagaing and is located on
the eastern portion of the Sagaing ridge. In 2023, the ward has a total area of 1.437 square mile and
2,234 residents. Being the original place for propagation of Buddhist religious sasana, and the place
lived by sotapanna ogres under the teaching of Lord Buddha himself, Thaw Tar Pan Ward is
particularly flourished in various religious buildings of Buddha sasana including the pagodas, stupa,
monasteries, nunneries, Buddhist literature teaching centers as well as those numbers of Buddhism,
monks, novices and nuns. As of 2019, there are totally 45 pagodas, and 279 monasteries with
nunneries in Thaw Tar Pan Ward. This brings about 285 acres religious land use and it constitutes
about 31 % of total ward area. Various religious centers are performing various pariyatti and
patipatti sasana works for perpetuation and propagation of Buddhist Sasana. Sitagu International
Buddhist center, International Buddhist Education center, Buddhist Museum, Thitagu meditation
center and hospital are well-known religious sites in Thaw Tar Pan Ward. A good scenic view can
be taken towards the opposite bank, and up and down along the Ayeyarwady River and navigating
boats and vassels in the river. A number of pagoda festivals for sun offering during the Buddhist
lents period are also carried out for the perpetuation and promotion of the Buddhist Sasana
A Study of the Forms; Some of the Pagodas in Bagan Area
The Kingdom of Myanmar was ruled by a succession of 55 kings from 107 A.D. to 1369 A.D.
for over 1260 years. Believing particularly in the Buddha Sāsanā, these kings built and donated
multitudes of pagodas and religious buildings in the environs of Bagan. Bagan is an ancient city
and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar. From the 9th to 13th
centuries, the city was the capital of the Bagan Kingdom, the first kingdom that unified the regions
that would later constitute Myanmar. An area known as the Bagan Archaeological Zone contains
many of the larger pagodas and is arguably the most visited location in all of Myanmar. During
the kingdom’s height between the 11th and 13th centuries, more than 10,000 Buddhist temples,
pagodas and monasteries were constructed in the Bagan plains alone, of which the remains of
over 2200 temples and pagodas survive. In building and donation of the pagodas, the early
workmanships are simple forms. As the architectural works developed in the later periods, the
pagodas were built in various forms so that they are pleasant to the eyes and inspiring devotion
to the worshippers. In Myanmar, looking at the forms of the pagodas in Bagan area, there are
various architectural works that are different. The most common found forms of the pagodas are
cylindrical form containing a big and steep Dhātugabbha, the square box-like relic chamber above
the Dhātugabbha, the form of the pagoda created in Myanmar style and the form of the pagoda
based on vaulted square temple. The intention of this paper is to discuss the potential origins of
the early Pyu and Mon era religious architecture of Myanmar. The period of architecture that will
be in focus is the era preceding the 9th century CE., which marked the development of a new
Myanmar Kingdom known as Bagan in central Myanmar. This paper is presented the four forms
of pagodas after studying a few of them in Bagan. Moreover, the study of this paper is intended
to illustrate the outstanding forms of ancient architecture and to be designed to imitate the
contemporaries

A Study on the Health Awareness of Seasonal Influenza A (H1N1) Among Factory Workers (Case Study: Tatmadaw Garment Factory, Mingaladon Township) (Peter Myo Htet Kyaw @ Myo Htet Kyaw, 2025)
This study focuses on factory workers' knowledge, attitude, and practices
regarding seasonal influenza A (HINI). The objectives of the study are to assess the
level of awareness, attitude, and existing preventive practices among factory workers
and to examine the relationship between their sociocultural characteristics and
influenza prevention behaviors. A total of 138 workers from the Tatmadaw Garment
Factory in Mingaladon were randomly selected. The study employed an intervention
design with a one-group pre-and post-test approach and utilized a self-administered
structured questionnaire to collect data on the workers' socioeconomic characteristics,
knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) related to influenza prevention. The findings
reveal a significant improvement in knowledge, attitude, and preventive practices
following the health education intervention. Most respondents (93.5%) recognize that
influenza is caused by influenza viruses before the intervention, yet 27.5% believe after
the intervention that A (HINI) could be contracted by eating pork. Before the
intervention, only 15.2% had been vaccinated for the flu season, and misconceptions
regarding vaccination were prevalent. These findings indicate that health education
effectively enhanced workers' awareness and preventive practices regarding seasonal
influenza A (HINI). However, negative attitudes and vaccination practices remain
largely unchanged. Therefore, periodic health education programs and vaccination
campaigns should be implemented, particularly among vulnerable groups, to strengthen
preventive measure
