Perceived Happiness Towards TV Programs (Case Study: Two Villages in Hmawbi Township) ( May Thingyan, 2025)
Television has become source of entertainment and information, shaping
individuals’ perceptions and emotional well-being.. The objectives are to identify the
types of TV programs most commonly watched by residents of Htain Swun and
Pannaekone villages and to explore residents’ perceptions of their happiness in relation
to their TV viewing experiences. This study employs a descriptive analysis method to
examine the relationship between residents’ exposure to TV programs and their
perceived happiness in Htain Swun and Pannaekone villages. Utilizing quantitative
survey, data were collected from 300 residents using stratified random sampling, 150
from each village. The findings show that residents perceive TV programs from popular
channels as key contributors to their happiness and emotional well-being, fostering
community spirit and stress relief. Viewers find that TV programs promote social
virtues such as honesty, kindness, and cooperation, which can enhance community
cohesion and personal happiness. Participants generally view TV content as culturally
respectful and socially beneficial, promoting virtues and strengthening family and
community cohesion. TV programs are seen as vital for cultural preservation, relaxation,
and emotional support, positively influencing residents' happiness and cultural identity.
The residents’ TV viewing habits, including channel preferences and timing, are closely
linked to their emotional well-being and overall satisfaction
A Study on the Cultivation and Production of Onion in Myanmar (Case Study : Myittha Township) (Chit Sandi Tun , 2025)
Onion is an essential agricultural product that functions as a fundamental
component in domestic cuisine and constitutes a significant source of revenue for
smallholder farmers. Agriculture in Myanmar substantially contributes to the
economy, with onion production assuming an increasingly vital role. This study aims
to evaluate Township. A descriptive research method was applied, utilizing primary
data acquired from local onion growers. The data reveal that land, labor, and the
application of fertilizers and pesticides have a statistically significant and positive
influence on onion yield effects were not statistically significant. The study reveals
that productivity is not just dependent on the quantity of inputs but also on farmers'
abilities, experience, and awareness of appropriate growing techniques. Improving
farmers' access to agricultural extension and training services will help them become
more knowledgeable about how to manage soil, choose high-quality seeds, and apply
inputs effectively, all of which will enhance yields and boost output

This study examines A Study on Perception towards the Court Performance through a survey of 150 respondents, including judges, legal officers, private lawyers, and Clients. Using a descriptive method based on primary data, it explores key issues such as court performance, access to justice, and the morale of legal professionals. The findings highlight a gap between policymaker assumptions and on-the-ground realities, emphasizing the need for evidence-based reforms. In transitional democracies like Myanmar, delays in court proceedings and diminished trust among legal professionals challenge judicial effectiveness and reform. This study offers insights to strengthen judicial governance and institutional trust
A Study on Awareness Towards Household Waste Disposal in Kamayut Township ( Nant Nilar Myat Kyaw, 2025)
Household waste is from daily activities. If not handled properly, it can cause health problems. Studying awareness helps improve waste management and protect the environment. So we need to study awareness towards household waste disposal. This study aims to find out, Yangon Region, about household waste disposal in Kamayut Township. Interviewing with 365 respondents were chosen at random and asked questions using a structured questionnaire, who are residing in Kamayut Township. The objective of the study is to investigate households’ knowledge, attitudes, and practice regarding household waste disposal in Kamayut Township, Yangon Region. This study uses the descriptive method by using both primary data and secondary data Primary data is collected by using structured questionnaire. Waste is collected by local services using bins and home pickup. In Kamayut, UECCD uses four methods to handle waste. Most people know that improper waste disposal is harmful. They sort, reduce, reuse, and recycle waste with good awareness. Some of the people have good knowledge and attitude about proper waste disposal but they also need to practice
Opportunities and Challenges of the Plastic Recycling Industry in the Yangon Region (Myat Su Mon, 2025)
This study investigates the current opportunities and challenges confronting the
plastic recycling industry within the Yangon Region, a rapidly urbanizing area facing
escalating plastic waste generation. . The primary objectives were to identify prevailing
obstacles, to evaluate the industry's growth potential, and to propose recommendations
for its sustainable development. A descriptive research design was adopted, employing
a structured survey method to gather primary data from a diverse range of key
stakeholders within the plastic recycling factories. The findings reveal that despite a
generally optimistic outlook for growth, the industry faces significant challenges
including inadequate waste collection and sorting infrastructure, limited access to
advanced recycling technologies, and insufficient governmental policy support.
Furthermore, public awareness regarding proper waste segregation and the value of
recycling needs substantial improvement. Consequently, sound government
intervention through enhanced regulations, increased investment in technological
advancements, and widespread public awareness campaigns are crucial for fostering
the industry's sustained growth and maximizing its environmental benefits in Yango
Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty Toward Sont oo Thetwin Microfinance Company Ltd (Kay Thwe Khaing, 2025)
The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of service quality on
customer satisfaction and the subsequent effect of customer satisfaction on customer
loyalty toward Sont Oo Tehtwin Microfinance Company Ltd. The study focuses on five
key service quality dimensions tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and
empathy. A quantitative research method was used, involving 150 active customers
from the Dala Branch who were selected through simple random sampling. Data were
collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics,
correlation, and regression techniques. The findings reveal that all five service quality
dimensions have a statistically significant influence on customer satisfaction, with
tangibility being identified as the most influencing factor, followed by reliability,
responsiveness, and assurance. Furthermore, the study confirms that customer
satisfaction has a strong and positive effect on customer loyalty. Based on these results,
it is recommended that the management of Sont Oo Tehtwin Microfinance Company
focus on improving the physical environment of their branches, maintaining reliable
service, enhancing responsiveness, and building stronger customer relationships to
ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty
Corporate Governance Practices and Organizational Performance of UAB Bank PCL (Khin Aye Mar, 2025)
The primary objective of this study is to analyze the effect of corporate governance
practices on organizational performance of uab bank PCL. Both descriptive and
quantitative research methods were employed to achieve this objective. A total of 76
respondents, representing 20% of the 380 employees holding managerial positions and
above at uab bank’s head office, were selected using a simple random sampling method.
The study focuses on key corporate governance practices, including board composition,
responsibility, accountability, transparency, and board committee structure. The findings
reveal that these governance practices have a positive and significant impact on the bank's
performance. According to the findings from the analysis, it is noted that independent
variables such as board composition, responsibility, accountability, transparency and board
committee structure have somewhat level of effects on organizational performance of uab
bank PCL. Moreover, the study indicates that corporate governance practices account for a
considerable portion of the variance in the bank’s performance. These findings underscore
the strong interrelationship between effective corporate governance and organizational
success, highlighting that sound governance mechanisms can contribute to enhanced
performance within the banking sector
A Study of Mental Health Awareness Among Post Graduate Students ( Sai Pye Phyo Aung, 2025)
This study focuses the level of mental health awareness among postgraduate
students at Yangon University of Economics. It aims to assess their awareness and
knowledge on mental health and to understand the situation of the mental health care
facilities and services in Yangon. A descriptive research design was employed,
incorporating quantitative surveys, qualitative key informant interviews, and secondary
data sourced from the Ministry of Health, World Health Organization (WHO), and
relevant academic literature. The findings reveal that while mental health professionals
such as psychologists and psychiatrists maintain mutual professional respect, there is
no formal system for collaboration between them. Public understanding of the distinct
roles within mental health care remains limited, compounded by the lack of official
licensing frameworks for psychologists and counselors
The Effect of Digital Transformation on Employee Performance at Myawaddy Bank Limited (Khin Mya Marlar Tun, 2025)
This study examines the effect of digital transformation on employee
performance at Myawaddy Bank Limited in Myanmar. Focusing on five key
variables, which are digital culture, digital competence, digital leadership, employee
attitude, and organizational support. The study investigates how these factors affect
employee performance within a digitally evolving banking environment. A
quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire
administered to 115 managerial-level employees at the head office of the bank,
selected through simple random sampling. Data analysis included reliability testing,
descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression modelling. The
results of the multiple regression analysis revealed that digital leadership, employee
attitude, and organizational support had statistically significant positive effects on
employee performance. Among these, digital leadership exhibited the strongest effect,
followed by employee attitude and organizational support. However, digital culture
and digital competence did not demonstrate a statistically significant effect on
employee performance in this study. The findings suggest that Myawaddy Bank
should prioritize strengthening its digital leadership, motivating employee attitudes,
supporting facilities, and leading the digital transformation program
A Study on Safety Behavior, Safety Awareness in Relate to Inland Vessel Accidents ( Thant Zaw, 2025)
The Irrawaddy River is the longest of Myanmar’s five major rivers, heavily used for trade but also sees frequent maritime accidents, causing significant property damage and loss of life. Numerous studies have found that over 80% of vessel accidents are due to human error. Caused by poor decision-making under challenging conditions such as outdated navigation equipment, aging vessels, limited crew training, and complex river conditions as key causes. This study is to examine leadership, situational awareness, and safety behavior affecting unsafe actions and accident in inland vessel operations. Using a mixed-method approach, the research combines primary data from structured surveys with secondary data from the Directorate of Marine Administration (DMA). From this study, findings show that poor leadership, low situational awareness, and weak safety culture lead to unsafe crew behavior and increased accident risks. Authentic leadership was found to improve situational awareness and reduce unsafe actions. The study recommends enhanced crew training, implementing a Domestic Safety Management (DSM) system, and stricter enforcement of safety regulation
