    his study aims to assess the effect of marketing mix (7Ps) on customer buying decision in Ovaltine Malted Milk of MEGA Company, Mandalay. Primary and secondary data are used to achieve the objectives. In this study, systematic sampling method is used for conducting survey and the sample size is 122 customers by using the structured questionnaires. The collected data are analyzed by using reliability analysis, correlation analysis, descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of mean value showed that marketing mix of 7Ps (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence) affected customer buying decision towards in Ovaltine Malted Milk of MEGA Company, Mandalay. Multiple regression analysis was used to achieve the objectives and the results showed that physical evidence had the most significant effect at the 1% level and product and process had a significant effect at the 10% level. Therefore, the results also showed that physical evidence, product and process significantly affected customer buying decision. These findings suggest that businesses should focus more on enhancing physical evidence and maintaining product quality, while also reassessing the effectiveness of their pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies to better align with consumer expectations and behaviors

    Synthesis and Characterization of Zeolite from Bamboo Leaves

    Zeolites are natural or synthetic hydrated microporous aluminosilicates of the alkali and alkaline earth metals. In the present study, the agrowaste bamboo leaf sample was chosen for the preparation of zeolite as a source of silica because of abundance in Sagaing University Campus. Bamboo leaves ash (BLA) was obtained by heating at 600˚C, 8hr in a muffle furnace. Silica was extracted from BLA by using NaOH solution. The extracted silica was converted to synthetic zeolite by hydrothermal method. The characterization of prepared zeolite was done by EDXRF, SEM, FT-IR and XRD. According to the characterization, study the prepared zeolite was identified as a type A zeolite

    Chemical Profile and Bioactivities Evaluation from Ethyl Acetate Extract of Endophytic Fungus Aspergillus fumigatus Fresen

    This research focused on the chemical and biological study of crude extracts of endophytic fungus Aspergillus fumigatus isolated from Oroxylum indicum (L.) Kurz (Kyaung sha) fruit. Preliminary phytochemical investigations by test tube methods revealed the presence of alkaloids, –amino acids, carbohydrates, flavonoids, glycosides, organic acids, phenolic compounds, reducing sugars, saponins, steroids, tannins, and terpenoids, and the absence of starch in A. fumigatus. The total phenolic content (TPC) and total flavonoids content (TFC) of the ethyl acetate extracts were determined according to the appropriate reported methods. It was found that the TPC content (126.86 ± 0.14 mg GAE/g) was the highest, followed by, TFC content (59.77 ± 0.11 mg GAE/g) in the ethyl acetate extract. The ethyl acetate extract was observed to possess antioxidant activity (IC50 = 12.15 μg/mL), high in antimicrobial activity, antidiabetic activity expressed in terms of a-amylase inhibitory effect (IC50 = 9.28 mg/mL), antiarthritic activity by egg albumin protein denaturation method (40.96 % in 1600 μg/mL) and cytotoxic effect (LC50 value of 700.76 µg/mL) on brine shrimp

    This study aims to explore how three distinct leadership approaches impact freelance advisors’ organizational commitment, which is essential for maintaining a competitive advantage and improving overall performance. A quantitative research method is employed, using a structured questionnaire distributed to 130 freelance advisors selected through simple random sampling from a population of 180 advisors. Data are collected using a seven-point Likert scale, and the results were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis to determine the relationships between leadership styles and organizational commitment. The findings reveal that transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style, and laissez-faire leadership style all have significant positive impacts on organizational commitment. The study underscores that effective leadership is essential to enhance the commitment, performance, and satisfaction of freelance advisors in Myanmar’s growing life insurance sector. The study highlights that strong, adaptive, and supportive leadership styles are essential for retaining freelance advisors and enhancing their job satisfaction and performance. This study also emphasizes the need for leadership strategies that align with organizational goals while addressing both employee satisfaction and development. Practical recommendations include leadership development programs that prioritize transformational behaviors, as well as organizational policies that encourage leader-employee engagement and trust. By strengthening leadership practices, Manulife Myanmar can improve advisor commitment, enhance performance, and achieve sustainable growth in the competitive insurance market

    The purpose of this research is to identify the service quality and to analysis relationship between service quality dimensions and the customer satisfaction of Myanmar Net Internet Service of Frontiir Co., Ltd. by applying SERQUAL Model and Stimulus Theory. A positivist research philosophy and a deductive approach were adopted,employing a survey research strategy to collect primary data. A structured questionnaire using 7-point Likert scale was distributed to a sample of 300 respondents by systematic sampling method, representing the population of Myanmar net internet service customers. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis to determine the influence of service quality dimensions on customer satisfaction. The findings indicate that customers perceive the overall service quality dimensions of Myanmar Net internet positively and overall mean score are over 5. The lower empathy score indicates a need for improved personalized interactions. The correlation results reveal that all service quality dimensions have significant and positive correlation with customer satisfaction.According to multiple regression analysis, this study showed that all dimensions significantly affect customer satisfaction, with tangibles, reliability and assurance. This study contributes to both theoretical and practical knowledge by applying the SERVQUAL model in an emerging internet service market. The findings provide actionable insights for service providers, emphasizing the importance of safety,reliability, and modern infrastructure in enhancing customer satisfaction

    In today’s interconnected world, logistics activities are indispensable for optimizing business, enabling global trade, and meeting rapidly evolving consumer demands for speed, efficiency, and reliability in product delivery. This study focused on logistics practices and the performance of Myanmar Indo Best Company. The objectives of this study are to identify the logistics activities and to analyze the effects of logistics activities on the firm performance of Myanmar Indo Best Company. To accomplish these objectives, primary and secondary data are used in this study. The primary data were collected from 178 respondents by using a stratified random sampling method. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple egression analysis were used in this study. Based on the correlation results, transportation activity demonstrates a strong positive correlation with firm performance, while all other logistics activities such as warehousing, communication, order processing and fulfillment exhibit moderate correlations. According to multiple regression analysis results, all logistics activities show positive and significant effects on firm performance. Transportation is the most influential factor, order processing and order fulfillment are the second most influential, warehousing is the third most influential, communication is the fourth most influential, and demand forecasting is the least influential factor for firm performance. The result showed that the logistics activities are important to increase the firm's performance. These activities can provide several benefits for the company. Therefore, MIB Company should focus on these logistics activities to enhance organizational performance

    ANALYZING THE ADOPTION OF INSURANCE IN MAWLAMYINE TOWNSHIP

    This study investigates the factors influencing adoption of insurance in Mawlamyine Township. The objectives of the study are to analyze the effect of adoption of insurance of Mawlamyine Township. Both primary and secondary data were used in this study. The research surveyed 400 households by using convenient sampling method through a structured questionnaire employing a five-point Likert scale. Descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple linear regression analysis were applied to assess the relationships among key variables. The findings reveal that attitude towards insurance, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, financial literacy, and risk perception are all strongly and positively correlated with adoption of nsurance. Furthermore, regression analysis confirms that these factors have significant positive effects on adoption of insurance, highlighting their critical role in enhancing insurance literacy and participation in the township. Financial literacy and risk perception emerge as key determinants, suggesting that individuals with greater financial knowledge and heightened awareness of potential risks are more likely to adopt insurance services. Perceived behavioral control also plays a critical role, emphasizing the importance of individuals’ confidence in their ability to make informed insurance decisions.Subjective norms contribute meaningfully to adoption behavior, indicating that encouragement from family members, peers, and professionals can positively influence individuals’ decisions to purchase insurance. Although attitudes toward insurance demonstrate a relatively weaker effect, they still reflect a generally favorable perception that supports adoption. Therefore, efforts to enhance insurance uptake should rioritize improving financial literacy, strengthening individuals’ sense of control, leveraging social influences, and cultivating positive attitudes toward insurance

    This study aims to assess the health knowledge and practices of primary school teachers in implementing Health Promoting School (HPS) activities, with a specific focus on Chanmyathazi Township in Mandalay Region. Using a descriptive research design supported by correlation and multiple regression analysis, data were collected from 100 primary school teachers across 13 public schools through structured questionnaires. The study examined key factors influencing HPS development, including school head and community support, social environment, school health policies, physical environment, and health services. Findings revealed that while most teachers possessed a moderate level of health knowledge and demonstrated positive attitudes toward health promotion, a significant number had limited formal training in HPS-related activities. Regression results confirmed that all four variables significantly contributed to the effectiveness of school health promotion, with leadership and community involvement showing the strongest influence. The study recommends enhanced professional development programs, stronger school leadership engagement, integration of health topics into the school curriculum, improvement of school infrastructure, and increased collaboration between educational and health sectors. These measures are essential to create a sustainable and inclusive school environment that supports the physical, mental, and social well-being of students

    The study examines road safety knowledge, attitudes, and practices among university students at the University of Co-operative and Management, Sagaing. The primary objectives are to identify the factors contributing to road traffic accidents in the study area and to analyze the levels of knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to road safety among students. In this study, knowledge and attitudes are independent variables, and practice is a dependent variable. A cross-sectional design was employed, using a descriptive statistic to investigate influencing factors and a multiple regression analysis to assess the effects of knowledge and attitude on road safety practices. Data were collected from 259 respondents through the structured questionnaires that measured their road safety knowledge, attitudes, and practices. The results indicate that both knowledge and attitude have a significant impact on road safety practices. Among these two variables, attitude is the most significant predictor of practice. Based on these findings, the study recommends incorporating compulsory road safety education into academic curricula, implementing behavioral change strategies, and fostering collaboration among multiple stakeholders. The study underscores the urgent need for targeted interventions to translate awareness into consistent safe road user behavior and suggests further exploration of psychological and social factors influencing road safety practices

    The objective of the study is to examine the factors influencing the adoption of KBZPay Wallet under KBZ Bank. A conceptual framework based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was developed and tested using data collected from a sample of 300 KBZPay users. The sample was randomly gathered in the Sagaing Township, and the data was collected through well-structured questionnaires. In this study, independent variables, factors affecting include, perceived usefulness, perceived security, time saving and perceived cost and dependent variable is KBZPay Wallet adoption. According to the result from analysis based on there are four influencing variables such as perceived usefulness, perceived security, time saving and perceived costs that influence on customer intention to adopt. For the significant of each variable, perceived usefulness and perceived cost is significant at 1% level and time saving is significant at 5% level. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for decisionmakers to understand how digital payment methods impact user perceptions and adoption. Additionally, the establishment of more merchant acceptance points is essential to encourage broader customer adoption. Moreover, wallet providers should develop promotional strategies that align with market demands.
