Factors Influencing Project Performance of Contractors in TK Myanmar Company Limited (Nay Thu Han, 2025)
The study aims to examine the factors affecting the performance of contractors at
TK Myanmar Company Limited and to investigate the moderating role of government
policies on the connection between these influencing factors and the contractors'
performance in TK Myanmar Company Limited. Both primary and secondary information
is utilized. At TK Myanmar Company Limited, there are presently 80 contractors. Based
on Yamane's sample size formula, a selection of 66 from 80 contractors is made. Primary
data were gathered from 66 contractors in TK Myanmar using a simple random sampling
technique. A structured questionnaire utilizing a five-point Likert scale is used to gather
primary data. Data is gathered using the online survey method. This research employs
descriptive statistics and regression analysis to examine the data. Secondary data are
collected from TK Myanmar reports, earlier research papers, textbooks, online resources,
and various other pertinent sources. The results of the regression show that project
management and information technology positively and significantly impact the project
performance of contractors at TK Myanmar Company Limited, whereas benchmarking
negatively and significantly affects the project performance of contractors at TK Myanmar
Company Limited. Government policies do not moderate the relationship between factors
affecting contractors' project performance. To enhance the efficiency of contractors, TK
Myanmar Company Limited ought to assist project managers in managing various tasks
efficiently by adopting sophisticated construction-focused project management tools
A Study on Family Planning Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Among Married Women (Case Study- Kawkareik Township, Kayin State) (Wai Mon Phyo, 2025)
Family planning, utilizing contraception, provides women with the ability to
space out childbirths by choosing the timing of pregnancy in alignment with their other
life responsibilities. This study aims to examine the family planning situation,
specifically focusing on the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding family
planning methods among married women in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State, and to
assess the KAP of married women regarding family planning in selected villages. The
study uses descriptive and quantitative survey method. A sample of 200 respondents
were selected from 6 villages in Kawkareik Township. Many women in the study area
are aware of family planning, although only just over half of the women had a broader
knowledge of its benefits of birth control. The two-thirds of women in the study area
use contraceptive methods, and positive attitudes persist despite religious and cultural
contradictions. These findings recommended the need for accessible contraceptive
supplies and expanded education, in addition to common methods, linking family
planning to broader socio-economic developmen
Organizational Culture, Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance at Myanmar Citizens Bank (Ingyin Maw, 2025)
This study aims to identify the organization culture dimensions, to investigate
the effect of organizational culture on job satisfaction and to examine the effect of job
satisfaction on employee performance at Myanmar Citizens Bank. This study used both
primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were collected through structured
questionnaire surveys using a five-point Likert scale. Descriptive statistics and
quantitative research methods were applied in this study. Sample size is selected 133
out of 201 managerial-level employees from MCB's head office. The sample size was
determined using Yamane’s (1967) formula and selected through a simple random
sampling method. This study identified four key dimensions of organizational culture
which are supportiveness, reward, innovation, and performance orientation to assess
their effect on job satisfaction. The findings indicate that all cultural dimensions have a
positive effect on job satisfaction, with performance orientation showing the strongest
effect. Multiple regression analysis revealed that performance-oriented culture and
reward systems have statistically significant effects on job satisfaction. Furthermore,
the study demonstrated a significant effect between job satisfaction and employee
performance. The results indicated that satisfied employees are more likely to perform
effectively and contribute to organizational goals. Based on the results, this study
recommended to maintain the performance-driven and rewarding organizational culture
in enhancing job satisfaction and employee performance at Myanmar Citizens Bank
A Study on the Effectiveness of Aviation Technical Training Programs in Enhancing Human Resource Capacity in Myanmar (Case Study : Techninal Training School, Meikhatila) ( Ye Htut Khaung, 2025)
This study examines the effectiveness of aviation technical training programs
in enhancing human resource capacity within Myanmar's aviation sector, with a focus
on training provided by the Myanmar Air Force Technical Training School. Using a
descriptive research design, data were collected from 237 trainees and professionals
working at the Aircraft Production and Maintenance Headquarter in Meikhtila. The
study employed both quantitative and qualitative methods, guided by the Analysis,
Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model, to assess the
relevance, quality, and outcomes of training programs. Findings reveal that the training
programs are generally well-designed, with curriculum content aligned to international
standards such as ICAO and EASA, and delivered by experienced instructors. While
respondents reported improved job performance, technical skills, and career
advancement, the study also identified key areas for improvement, such as limited
hands-on practice and outdated equipment. The study concludes with strategic
recommendations aimed at strengthening the effectiveness and sustainability of
aviation technical training in Myanmar, including greater investment in technology,
international collaboration, and curriculum modernization. These findings contribute to
policy and institutional reforms that support long-term capacity building in Myanmar’s

Effect of Service Encounter Approach on Customer Satisfaction and Retention towards Pyae Shan Private High School (Mon Mon Pike, 2025)
The objectives of this study are to analyze the effect of service encounter approach
on customer satisfaction, to examine the effect of customer satisfaction on retention and to
analyze the moderating effect of trust on the relationship between customer satisfaction and
retention in Pyae Shan Private School. Both primary and secondary data are used. By
Raosoft sample size calculator, sample size is 136 customers out of 209 customers of Pyae
Shan Private High School. Customers are selected by applying simple random sampling
method. Primary data is collected through an online survey method using a structured
questionnaire with 5-point Likert scale. Secondary data are gathered from relevant
textbooks, previous research papers and online sources and data source of Pyae Shan
Private High School. Descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis are applied in this
study. The regression analysis indicates that service encounter approach such as service
personnel, service facility and service value have positive significant effect on customer
satisfaction. In addition, customer satisfaction is positive significant effect on retention in
Pyae Shan Private High School. It is also found that there is partially moderating effect of
trust on the relationship between customer satisfaction and retention in Pyae Shan Private
High School. This study suggests that Pyae Shan Private High School should continue
investing in digital communication and explores further tools such as school mobile
application, parent-student portal for performance tracking, attendance and feedback to
enhance customer satisfaction and retention
The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Organizational Performance of AYA Bank PCL (Soe Sandar, 2025)
The objectives of the study are to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on
the organizational commitment, to analyse the effect of mediating effect of job satisfaction
on the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational commitment, and to
analyze the effect of organizational commitment on organizational performance of AYA
Bank PCL. This study uses both primary and secondary data. The total number of
employees at AYA Bank PCL’s Head office is 500 in 2025. The Rao soft sample size
calculator determines a sample size of 218. AYA Bank PCL adopted a simple random
sample approach to acquire primary data from 218 out of 500 workers. This study used an
online survey approach with a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale to
gather primary data. Secondary data are sourced from documents, prior research papers,
textbooks, websites, and other pertinent information resources from AYA Bank PCL. This
study employs descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis. This research examines
the impact of emotional intelligence on the organizational commitment of AYA Bank PCL,
as well as the mediating role of work satisfaction in the link between emotional intelligence
and organizational commitment at AYA Bank PCL. The correlation between
organizational commitment and organizational success at AYA Bank PCL exists. In light
of these findings, AYA Bank PCL should enhance employees' emotional intelligence to
bolster organizational dedication and performance
Effect of Project Manager’s Competencies on Project Management Success and Project Success of Engineers (Khaing Hnin Wai, 2025)
The objectives of this study are to analyze the mediating effect of project
characteristics on the relationship between company specific factors and project manager’s
competencies, to analyze the mediating effect of project manager’s competencies on the
relationship between project characteristics and project management success, to analyze
the mediating effect of project manager’s competencies on the relationship between
company specific factors and project management success, to analyze the mediating effect
of project characteristics on the relationship between company specific factors and project
management success and to analyze the effect of project management success on project
success of Myanmar Engineering Council’s License Holders. There are 348 members of
professional engineers in Myanmar Engineering Council. Using the Yamane Formula, the
sample size is 186 out of 348 members are selected by using simple random sampling
method. Online survey is conducted to collect primary data. To analyze the collected data
in descriptive statistics and multiple regression methods are used. The research findings
indicate that there is the mediating effect of project characteristics on the relationship
between company specific factors and project manager’s competencies. Moreover, project
manager’s competencies mediate between project characteristics and project management
success. Furthermore, there is the mediating effect of project manager’s competencies on
the relationship between company specific factors and project management. In addition,
there is the mediating effect of project characteristics on the relationship between company
specific factors and project management success. Finally, project management success has
positive and significant effect on project success
Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention Towards the Services of Sathapana Microfinance (Pyae Phyo Aung, 2025)
The main objectives of this study are to analyze the factors influencing customer
satisfaction and to examine the effect of customer satisfaction on customer retention
towards the services of SATHAPANA Microfinance. The study analyzes key service
attributes accessibility, price, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy to determine their
influencing on customer satisfaction. Using a quantitative research approach and
employing a simple random sampling method, this study collected data from 130 active
customers of SATHAPANA Microfinance located in Shwepyithar Township, Yangon.
The results reveal that all five independent variables have positive and statistically
significant effects on customer satisfaction, with empathy being the strongest influence.
In turn, customer satisfaction also has a statistically significant effect on customer
retention. The study recommended that SATHAPANA Microfinance continue
prioritizing the development of a customer centric mindset across all staff levels. This
includes enhancing training programs focused on emotional intelligence, respectful
communication, and active listening. Additionally, maintaining transparency in pricing,
improving service reliability, and expanding accessible service channels, particularly
for underserved communities, are essential to sustaining customer satisfaction and
customer retention
Effect of Human Resource Management Practices on Employee Performance in Agro Yadanar Company Limited (Phyo Zin, 2025)
The objectives of the study are to analyze the effect of quality of work life on job
satisfaction, to examine the effect of human resource management practices on employee
performance, to analyze the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between
human resource management practices and employee performance and to analyze the
moderating effect of employee engagement on the relationship between human resource
management practices and employee performance Agro Yadanar Company Limited. The
sample size is all employees based on the total population by using census sampling on 60
employees by using online survey method in Agro Yadanar Company Limited. The primary
data is collected through structured questionnaires from employees. The secondary data is
gathered from previous research paper, website, published journals, relevant textbooks,
international thesis and the company. Online survey method is used to collect the data in
2025. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis are used for data analysis. Human
resource management practices (except job training) have a positive and significant effect
on employee performance. There is a mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship
between supervision, pay practices and employee performance. The study also reveals that
there is no moderating effect of employee engagement on the relationship between human
resource management practices and employee performance. Agro Yadanar Company
Limited should continue prioritizing both effective HRM strategies and high levels of
engagement, as both independently contribute to organizational success
Effect of Project Planning and Implementation on Project Success at Barons & Fujikura EPC Co., Lt (Hsu Lwin Dway, 2025)
The objectives of the study are to analyze the effect of project planning on project implementation and to analyze the effect of project implementation on project success at Barons & Fujikura EPC Co., Ltd. The sample size for this study covers all 67 managerial levels employees in the project department during May 2025 and consists of project managers, assistant project managers, project coordinators, and site supervisors. A census sampling method is applied. The online survey method using google forms with structured questionnaire is applied to collect primary data. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and regression analysis are utilized. Secondary data sources include academic journals, textbooks, industry reports and previous research studies related to project management. The regression results indicate that personnel management and stakeholder involvement have significant and positive effect on top management support. Furthermore, material resource planning, communication management, personnel management and stakeholder involvement have significant and positive effect on project mission. The analysis also indicates that material resource planning, stakeholder involvement and personnel management have significant and positive effect on project management plan. Additionally, stakeholder involvement and personnel management have significant and positive effect on project schedule. Moreover, among project implementation factors, project schedule has a significant and positive effect on project success. Based on these findings, BFE should strengthen its project planning dimensions, particularly in personnel management, stakeholder involvement and continually refine its project implementation strategies with a strong focus on project schedule management
