Digital connectivity becomes increasingly essential to economic growth and
social inclusion, and regional telecom infrastructure and service delivery disparities
have become pressing concerns. This study examines the key challenges hindering the
growth of the telecommunication industry retail sector and also explores the
opportunities to support the sustainable development of telecom retail service in
Magway Region. This study used a descriptive method, both quantitative and
qualitative data approaches. Using Magway Region as a case study, this research
investigates factors such as market accessibility, infrastructure limitations, customer
behavior, regulatory frameworks, and competitive dynamics affecting the retail sector
of telecommunication services. The findings highlight several barriers, including
insufficient infrastructure, limited investment, and low digital literacy among
consumers. However, the study also identifies significant opportunities. Suggestions
are provided to enhance retail strategies, improve service coverage, and encourage
sustainable growth in the region’s telecom industry
Factor Enhancing on Usage of FTTH Broadband Services (Case Study: Lanmadaw Township, Yangon) (Htun Aung Ko, 2025)
This research examines the key factors enhancing of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH)
broadband service usage and customer satisfaction in urban Myanmar, with a case study
focusing on Lanmadaw Township, Yangon. The research employs descriptive methods,
utilizing primary and secondary data. Primary data are collected from 200 participants
who are users of five FTTH Internet Service Providers in Lanmadaw Township. The
results highlight that perceived usefulness, particularly internet speed and reliability,
significantly impacts adoption decisions. However, perceived ease of use factors,
especially customer service quality, demonstrate even stronger influence on user
preferences. While overall customer satisfaction remains moderate, the analysis reveals
notable gaps in service quality, particularly in customer support responsiveness and
service consistency. These findings suggest that while technical performance remains
important, service providers must place greater emphasis on customer experience
enhancements, including improved support systems and service reliability, to drive
broader FTTH adoption and strengthen customer retention in Myanmar's evolving
broadband market
Farmers’ Utilization of Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank’s (MADB) Loans (Case Study: Double Cropping Farmers in Kyangin Township) (Min Zaw Oo, 2025)
This study investigates the utilization of Myanmar Agricultural Development
Bank (MADB) loans by double cropping farmers in Kyangin Township, Ayeyarwady
Region. The primary objective is to assess how MADB loans support seasonal rice
cultivation and impact farmers' productivity, income, and access to agricultural inputs.
Using a descriptive research method, both qualitative and quantitative data were
collected through surveys, focus group discussions, and interviews involving 239
farmers from selected villages. The findings show that although 75.3% of respondents
rely on MADB loans, challenges persist in terms of loan amount adequacy,
disbursement timing, and coverage of total cultivation costs. Most farmers reported
using the loans to purchase seeds, fertilizers, and pay for labor, but often supplemented
them with personal funds or informal borrowing due to financial shortfalls. The study
found a positive relationship between loan utilization and improved farm performance,
although delayed disbursements often forced farmers to seek high-interest informal
loans. The results suggest that enhancing the timeliness, flexibility, and adequacy of
MADB loans could significantly contribute to agricultural productivity and rural
development in Myanmar
A Study on Passengers’ Satisfaction on Operational Process of International Airport (Case Study: Yangon International Airport) (Myet Chal, 2025)
This study aims to examine the determinants of passenger satisfaction at
Yangon International Airport (YIA) in the post-COVID-19 context. Utilizing primary
data collected through structured questionnaires and applying multiple regression
analysis, the study investigates the impact of airport quality, facilities and
infrastructure, service quality of staff, and accessibility and transportation on overall
passenger satisfaction. The results reveal that the regression model explains 74.5% of
the variance in passenger satisfaction (R² = 0.745), with accessibility and
transportation emerging as the most significant predictor, followed by staff service
quality and airport facilities. While airport quality exhibited a positive association, it
did not reach statistical significance. These findings suggest that functional and
service-related factors outweigh general perceptions in shaping traveler satisfaction.
The study highlights the importance of improving access to the airport, enhancing
staff professionalism, and upgrading terminal infrastructure to boost overall passenger
experience. Recommendations are provided to airport management and policymakers
for targeted improvements. This research contributes to the growing literature on
airport service evaluation in developing countries and offers practical insights into
enhancing service delivery at Myanmar’s primary international gateway
A Study on Utilization of Fertilizer in Agriculture Sector in Mawlamyine Township Mon State (Case Study of Selected Villages in Mawlamyine Township Mon State) (Myo Aung, 2025)
This study examines the use of Fertilizer in agriculture among farmers in
Mawlamyine Township, Myanmar, focusing on their perceptions and the cost-benefit
analysis of organic, chemical, and mixed fertilizer use. The study found that most farmers
apply a combination of chemical and organic fertilizers across monsoon, winter, and
summer cropping seasons. Farmers recognize the benefits of organic fertilizer in enhancing
soil fertility, structure, moisture retention, and nutrient availability while lowering costs.
In contrast, chemical fertilizer boosts yield and saves labor and time but contributes to soil
degradation and long-term environmental concerns. The study shows that using mixed
fertilizers improves yield, lowers production costs, and achieves a higher cost-benefit ratio
than relying solely on organic or chemical fertilizers. Additionally, the cost-benefit ratio is
highest for Winter crops when mixed fertilizers are used. The study recommends a
collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach to promote cost-effective and sustainable
fertilizer practices for long-term agricultural development
Exploring Foreign AID and Economic Growth in Developing Countries ( Mi Mi Thaw Zin, 2025)
This study investigates foreign aid and economic growth of developing countries through time-series and panel data analysis from 1960 to 2022. The study uses an VAR (Vector Autoregression) model alongside descriptive statistical methods to analyze foreign aid's impact on GDP growth in 181 developing countries. The results show that there is a positive correlation between foreign aid and economic growth; this means that aid does help with development, but the impact is not substantial on its own. The research emphasizes that foreign aid effectiveness is greatly enhanced when there is strong domestic policy, institutional change, and comprehensive strategic development frameworks in place. These findings are relevant to the ongoing discussions on how foreign aid can be optimized for low and middle-income countries to enhance sustainable economic growth

This study focuses the challenges and opportunities of the Farmer-to-Farmer
(F2F) training approach in promoting sustainable agricultural development practices
in Bogale Township, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. Employing a descriptive
methodology, the research is based on a survey of 200 farmers to assess the impact of
F2F programs on agricultural practices, productivity, and knowledge sharing. The
findings reveal that 86% of respondents participated in face-to-face training sessions,
which contributed to notable improvements in crop yield, quality, and farmer income.
Farmers showed a strong preference for in-person training over digital alternatives.
The training emphasized good agricultural practices, integrated pest management,
seed production, and pesticide awareness. Despite these successes, the study
identified challenges including labor shortages, limited access to machinery, high
production costs, climate change impacts, and regional uncertainties. The study
concludes that the F2F training approach has significantly enhanced sustainable
agricultural practices and improved farmer livelihoods in Bogale Township
