    Research Method and Variable of Finishing Study During Pandemic Time for English Language and Education Students

    Purpose: This social service aimed to (1) enhance students' understanding of qualitative research methods, (2) improve their grasp of research variables, and (3) provide solutions for students struggling to finish their studies during the pandemic. It used descriptive qualitative research to analyze how students designed research during the pandemic.Method: The study involved 20 English Language Education students from Universitas Slamet Riyadi. Data was collected through lectures, focus group discussions, and consultations. The team provided material on research methods and variables, discussed challenges in pandemic research, and conducted follow-up meetings for students to consult on their research.Practical Applications: Students initially faced difficulties in selecting research methods and variables, but the program helped them address these issues. They developed suitable research designs focused on qualitative methods and online learning, contributing new insights to university education during the pandemic.Conclusion: Based on the results and discussions from this social service, it can be concluded that solutions for students struggling to finish their studies during the pandemic were achieved through this activity. Theories, training, and intensive consultations helped students gain a clear understanding of how to conduct research effectively during the pandemic

    Purpose: This Community Service activity aims to expand the marketing scope of the MSME keripik tempe "Crackels" by providing materials on the importance of utilizing digital marketing and Instagram as a platform for business product promotion. Method: The activity was conducted using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, involving several stages such as planning, implementation, and evaluation. Practical Applications: The practical application of this activity included the direct implementation of digital marketing strategies by MSME actors, such as creating and managing Instagram accounts for product marketing. The MSME participants learned how to create engaging content and follow trends to increase the appeal of their products, resulting in a significant increase in followers and sales. Additionally, they utilized other applications like WhatsApp to support promotions, making marketing efforts more effective and efficient. Conclusion: This community program successfully increased the number of followers and sales for the MSME keripik tempe "Crackels" beyond the Renon area. For sustainability, additional activities such as creative content training, advanced digital marketing strategies, and regular evaluations are needed to help MSMEs effectively utilize digital technology and marketing strategies

    Purpose: The community service aims to socialize the early process of organic waste into organic fertilizer for local plants in Karang Besuki residents, Malang city, Indonesia. This addresses the community's lack of knowledge about kitchen waste utilization, limited access to waste management technology, and the need to understand the environmental benefits of proper waste management. Method: The team conducted socialization and demonstration using a simple automatic counting tool, involving residents of Karang Besuki village, students, and the proposing team. Practical Applications: This initiative simplifies organic waste processing for residents, allowing the waste to be used as fertilizer, thus promoting a healthier community environment. Conclusion: The community service activities made it easier for residents to process organic waste into fertilizer, enhancing waste management practices and environmental awareness in Karang Besuki village, Malang city, Indonesia

    Purpose: The purpose of PKM activities is to help increase production capacity and quality through technology transfer, home creative industry mindset and improve the managerial ability of IRT Pring Makmur, including digital marketing in the context of innovating processed bamboo products. The main issue of IRT is the problem of production processes that are still semi-manual and still use traditional business approaches. These limitations cause IRT to be unable to meet market demand and business development is less than optimal. Method: The service method applied is a combination of mentoring, consulting and training techniques by offering micro business integrative solutions. Practical Applications: Micro business integrative solution includes TTG Development which is carried out including the provision of production equipment assistance in the form of dynamo cutting machines, training on growing home creative industry concepts, digital marketing training and several other needed training.     Purpose: The economic conditions of Kembangbahu Village, Lamongan, East Java, were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to reestablish those conditions, particularly for the locals who work as mushroom producers. Method: Designing a more contemporary approach to promoting mushrooms and mushroom products is the way adopted. In order to assist “Sambal Jamur” MSMEs grow to use Instagram and community empowerment to spread the word about content that can do just that. Practical Applications: In the village of Kembangbahu, the establishment and growth of “Sambal Jamur” MSMEs constitute the research's practical implementation. One goal of advertising on Instagram is to raise awareness about the importance of digital media and how to use it to build a company's identity effectively.
