Analysis of Students\u27 Learning Style Profiles in 5th Grade Differentiate Learning in Elementary School
Students have characteristics in understanding the ability to understand and obtain different information. The purpose of this study was to find out the results of the description of the learning style profile of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Pandeanlamper 01 Semarang City. This method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research strategy used was observation sheets by distributing questionnaires based on learning styles, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Pandeanlamper 01 were more dominant with a visual learning style, obtaining a percentage of 46.63%. This indicates that most students better understand information with their sense of sight, such as seeing pictures and learning video animations. Next is the kinesthetic learning style of 28.67% by processing physical and mental information to move, and the auditory learning style of 25.00% by gaining understanding by listening. This learning style facilitates the needs of diverse students in differentiated learning. Learning style profiles in differentiated learning provide learning readiness, interests, and things each student likes. With differentiated learning, all the needs of students can be accommodated according to each student\u27s interests and learning profile
Student Response to Rulisca Learning Media Implementation Toward Science Learning in IV Class Elementary School
This study aims to determine the response of students to Rulisca learning media with the Problem Based Learning learning model at Muntilan Elementary School. This study uses a descriptive approach to analysis of student responses in the study of the implementation of learning media. The subjects of the study were grade IV students totaling 18 students through purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study were obtained from the questionnaire sheet of student responses in learning related to energy change material. Based on the results of a study consisting of 10 statements, it shows that Rulisca\u27s learning media received a Considerably Interested. This is influenced because the media used uses the application of renewable technology to the concept of energy change. Rulisca makes students have a high curiosity to build their thinking constructions. Learning media used in energy change by involving solar cell technology and assembling supporting devices make students understand and are excited to understand energy changes contextually, besides that the use of Problem Based Learning learning models also makes students to think critically and logically in understanding problems. Stages in the learning model also make students feel more enthusiastic in the learning process
The Effect of Quantum Teaching Method on Motivation and Arabic Language Learning Outcomes (Literature Study)
This study analyzes the effectiveness of the Quantum Teaching method in improving motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic. Researchers use descriptive qualitative research methods with a systematic approach to conduct data analysis in a simplified approach. Data was collected through database search tools and literature search stages using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) method. Article search strategies are carried out through international databases, such as Open Knowledge Maps, ResearchGate, and Google Scholar. The summary of this literature review is done using an analysis matrix. The results showed that applying the Quantum Teaching method significantly improved students\u27 Arabic proficiency and learning outcomes. Quantum Teaching effectively improves student learning outcomes, motivation, and engagement. This method creates a comfortable, enjoyable learning environment and strengthens the interaction between teachers and students. In addition, Quantum Teaching also improves students\u27 memory and learning potential
The Implementation of Muhawarah Learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah
One of the methods used in learning Arabic that can improve maharah kalam is muhawarah; the muhawarah method is often used in several Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The facts found by researchers in the field are that in MTs Persis 31 Banjaran, muhawarah is a particular subject studied at school. This research aims to discover the process of muhawarah learning at MTs Persis 31 Banjaran. This study used descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data was collected, data analysis was carried out using the technique proposed by Milles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research result shows that the process of muhawarah lesson at MTs Persis 31 Banjaran contains four core activities of muhawarah learning, including (1) memorizing mufrodat, (2) analyzing mufrodat, (3) translating conversations, (4) carrying out simple conversations. The teacher\u27s skills in achieving learning objectives are very influential, one of which is regarding the methods used in muhawarah learning. Methods appropriate to students\u27 material, infrastructure, and conditions can make it easier for teachers to achieve learning objectives and increase student enthusiasm for learning
The Impact of Face-Face Learning after the Pandemic on the Attention and Independence of Elementary School Students
In recent years, the transition from online to face-to-face education has become an issue that plagues many educators and parents. As the pandemic forced schools to close and switch to distance learning, students had to adapt to new ways of learning. However, the impact of this transition on student concentration and independence is still under study. This study aims to summarize recent findings on the impact of this transition on student concentration and independence. This study aims to collect data using survey and interview methods to determine students\u27 attention and independence. Researchers created Likert scale questionnaires and interviews. The respondent is a primary school teacher from her 1st grade to her 5th grade at Binus School Simprug Jakarta. A total of 20 teachers interviewed her 15 male teachers and her 5 female teachers. The results showed that most students tend to stay focused and be more independent when learning onsite compared to learning online. However, more research is needed to fully understand the magnitude of these effects and how they can be mitigated in an online learning environment. Overall, this summary highlights the importance of considering the influence of the learning environment on student learning outcomes and the need for further research in this area
Strengthening Students\u27 Religious Character through Extracurricular Activities at Muhammadiyah Elementary School
This research aims to determine the implementation, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors of strengthening religious character in the extracurricular activities of Da\u27i Cilik and BTQ. The research conducted is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this research are the school principal and extracurricular coaches. The data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. The researcher serves as the instrument in this research. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity is tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this research show the implementation of strengthening religious character education through the extracurricular activities of Da\u27i Cilik and BTQ. This includes strengthening religious character through exemplary activities such as habituation, preaching material, praise and advice, and assessment. The supporting factors for strengthening religious character include the availability of facilities and infrastructure, student attendance and seriousness, and parental support. The inhibiting factors include students\u27 lack of self-confidence and the absence of props. The impact of strengthening religious character on students is evident in increased awareness and obligations as Muslims, increased diligence in performing prayer and reading the Qur\u27an, improved polite and respectful attitudes among students, enhanced self-confidence, independence, and discipline in daily activities in accordance with Islamic teachings
The Effect of Picture and Picture Interactive Model to Increase Student’s Learning Motivation in Elementary Science Learning
This research aims to determine the influence of the interactive picture and picture learning model on improving students\u27 learning motivation in elementary school science. The author used quantitative research, which involved the entire class V A population at Oro-Oro Ombo Wetan 1 Elementary School in the academic year 2022-2023. The research method used was Pre Experimental Design with a non-pure experimental model (one-shot case study). Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire to measure the increase in students\u27 learning motivation in class V A. For data analysis, the independent variable (x) was the interactive picture and picture learning model, while the dependent variable (y) was the improvement in students\u27 learning motivation. The analysis used was the one-sample t-test, with a significance level of 5% (0.05), resulting in a significant t-value (2-tailed) of 0.006. Therefore, the obtained significance value of t 0.006 < 0.05 means that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Analysis of Speaking Skills with Storytelling Method in Indonesian Language Learning in Elementary Schools
This literature study, entitled "Analysis of Speaking Skills with Storytelling Methods in Indonesian Language Learning in Elementary Schools," describes the literature on speaking skills using the storytelling method with the narrative literature review (NLR) model. The technique employed is the comparison method. The purpose of this study is based on the needs in primary school environments, especially in high school, because knowing the problems and difficulties in applying Indonesian language learning to speaking skills for elementary school students is very much needed. It has been proven that it takes work to maximize students\u27 speaking skills in front of an audience. Researchers identified the subject matter discussed in this study as 40 articles published in national journals within the last ten years. The article Speaking Skills with a Storytelling Approach consists of 20 pieces on speaking skills by various methods, as many as nine pieces for speaking skills in high school, which in general is as much as two articles; additionally, to speak with storytelling skills using a variety of models, as many as four articles; three articles for speaking skills using image media and comics; and the other two articles discuss speaking skills in law school in general. The novelty of the research obtained in the literature review of speaking skills and the theories presented by previous experts The impact of research that uses the study of literature is more significant when other researchers pay attention to the suggestions given by researchers when researching speaking skills
Pedagogical Exemplars for Mathematics Across Learning Styles
This study investigated the effectiveness of different pedagogical exemplars for teaching mathematics across various learning styles using multimedia technology. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design. The experimental group received the intervention through an interactive computer presentation program, while the control group used the standard dialogue and discussion techniques. The study used survey questionnaires adapted from BARSCH\u27s Learning Style Inventory and self-made pre-and post-tests to measure students\u27 learning and engagement. The research findings revealed that students with different learning styles benefited differently from multimedia-assisted instruction, suggesting the importance of considering individual differences in instructional design. The use of multimedia technology in teaching mathematics facilitates the learning process of students with different learning styles. The results of this study also support the importance of using statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of educational interventions and to inform evidence-based decision-making in education. This study identified the most effective pedagogical exemplars for each learning style and highlighted the benefits of interactive media teaching mathematics. Implementation of the Total Physical Response (TPR) Method with the Help of Flashcards to Teach English Vocabulary
Teaching vocabulary to children must be engaging and fun to spark their interest and motivate them to learn English, particularly to memorize English vocabulary. To establish pleasurable learning for children, the teacher must discover creative methods and media to encourage students to learn English vocabulary. This study aims to find out the implementation of the TPR method with the help of flashcards to teach English vocabulary at Kindergarten Muslimat NU TA 07 Plantaran and to describe how the TPR method with the help of flashcards can encourage kindergarten students at Muslimat NU TA 07 Plantaran to learn the English vocabulary. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Non-participant observation and interviews are conducted as the data collection techniques. The findings show that teaching using the TPR method with the help of flashcards is implemented in three steps: pre-teaching, whilst-teaching, and post-teaching. In teaching and learning, the teacher acts as a model and gives orders while students respond and imitate them with physical movements. Implementation of TPR with the help of flashcards can encourage students\u27 motivation to learn English vocabulary.
