Improving Social Studies Learning Outcomes and The Effectiveness of Project-Based Learning
The world of education today does not only require students to become experts in the cognitive field but is required to be able to achieve 21st century skills. Based on the analysis and synthesis of journals, the appropriate learning model for facing the 21st century is the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the project based learning (PJbl) learning model in improving student learning outcomes in class IX on conflict material. This research was conducted at SMP 4 Kismantoro Wonogiri, academic year 2022/2023, semester 2. The research method was quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). The research subjects were 40 students in class IX, which were divided into 17 students in the control class and 23 students in the experimental class. Data analysis used was paired simple t-test, independent t-test and N-Gain scores. The results showed that the project-based learning model could significantly improve the learning outcomes of class IX students at SMP 4 SATAP Kismantoro, with a score of to = -18.164 with sig 0.000 <0.05. Meanwhile, the level of effectiveness of the project-based learning model in social studies subject matter is in the range of 0.3-0.7. The conclusion of this study shows that project-based learning is significantly able to improve learning outcomes in social studies subject matter of conflict in class IX students, and has a moderate level of effectiveness

This research was conducted at Middle School 2 Pamarican for four months, from March 2nd, 2022, to June 29th, 2022. This research was aimed at students in grades VII and VIII and was carried out directly. The results of this dedication activity include assisting in teaching, learning multiplication using jarimatika, operating numbers, arithmetic series, and the concept of 3 M with the GASING method, improving reading skills using five methods, learning to recite the Quran, and adapting technology aimed at increasing students\u27 learning motivation. There were many obstacles and challenges during the implementation, especially when learning became limited, so teachers had to have high creativity to improve student learning outcomes.
The Effectiveness of the Think Talk Write (TTW) Learning Technique Aided by Word Cards Media in Improving Sentence Writing Ability
This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the Think Talk Write (TTW) technique supported by word cards in enhancing sentence writing skills. The research method is quasi-experimental, utilizing a nonequivalent group\u27s pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques encompassed sentence writing tests and angle distribution. The research sample comprised Class IX C as the experimental group and Class IX A as the control group. Data processing techniques included the Shapiro-Wilk test to assess data normality, paired sample T-tests, and the NGain-Score test. The paired sample T-tests for the experimental group yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.005, indicating a significant distinction between the pretest and posttest scores. Similarly, the paired sample T-test outcomes for the control group demonstrated a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.005. Moreover, based on the NGain-Score calculation, the average gain score for the experimental group was 71.25. In contrast, for the control group, it stood at 50.28, implying that the Think Talk Write (TTW) model, supplemented by word cards, effectively improves sentence writing skills
Application-Based Development of Alternative and Augmentative Communication System for Children with Cerebral Palsy
Based on the observation results, children with cerebral palsy were the subjects of the study. They communicate using gestures such as pointing accompanied by meaningless vocalizations. Only some people can immediately understand what the child intends. When they need something, the child will cry and scream. Based on these obstacles, the children need media as an alternative and augmentative communication system that can support them in communicating with their modalities and needs, one of which is using symbolic pictures and voice output. This research aims to design an alternative and augmentative communication program based on the children\u27s assessment results. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The study results in a program design expected to be implemented as a comprehensive tool to assist children in communication

Application of Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, and Review (SQ4R) Reading Method in Learning to Read Argumentation Text by Class X Students
The diversity of reading methods does not mean that learning activities must use in various ways. Using a plan that suits the material and needs involves using multiple techniques. This research aimed to obtain the ability to read argumentation texts by students of SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Panribuan using the SQ4R method. The research method used is the experimental method. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Panribuan. In particular, the research was carried out in class X. The empirical research design was a group pre-test and post-test design. The research instrument used to obtain data is by using a test. The study results mean that the average value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class before being given less/low treatment and after being given treatment using the SQ4R method increased. This indicates an increase in student learning outcomes after being given treatment. This study aims to improve students\u27 reading skills in understanding argumentation texts and applying the SQ4R method to other texts or discourses
